We had a temporary outage today, not sure what happened but while I was away the server went down. I fixed this by moving the server over to a more reliable dedicated location, temporarily the server ip will be
So there are a few minor bugs that I will be fixing soon, think I found the issue. But essentially it will be day for a few real days. Shouldn't a be a huge problem seeing as there is plenty of space for mobs to spawn in, in complete darkness.
I also should mention, I will be migrating the server in a few days which should only take about an hour or two.

This is an extremely dull way of playing the game and what multiplayer was intended to eliminate. Unfortunately becoming a lone wolf is all too easy. Hopefully there is a solution in playing on a much smaller world, 640x640.
_____We are looking for mature players willing to work with one another to enjoy a survival game in minecraft.
_____The world was built in worldpainter and the custom terrain was designed with WorldEdit and VoxelSniper. Resources are limited but some are very plentiful while they last. Work together with each other and share everything you can to make it in the world. Build a town and thrive. Any materials that aren't currently available will eventually turn up over time as the server expands.
If enough players are joining I will develop other 640 x 640 custom terrain plots and expand the world size, that is when there are enough regular players.
Eventually I will be setting up a whitelist to the server, but for now, I am going to allow it to stay opened free.
Rules:
[1] Do not play alone, this is a team server
[2] Do not greif or raid other players. Share and help each other out.
[3] Do not cheat or hack, anyone caught doing such will be banned without exception.
[4] Listen to staff. If you have an issue with a staff member's decision go to the owner to contest it, do not contest it aloud.
[5] Be nice to everyone and respect other's.
[6] Have lots and lots of fun!
[7] Requesting to be staff will make it less likely you will get it, so don't!
I am a rather friendly individual with a crude sense of humour. I have been playing minecraft, survival, creative, and the likes for over 5 years now, I know I started in Alpha but I do not remember the version. I have been an admin on a 5 year old server since its inception but I am growing bored of it and would like to experience something new. Hopefully with a lot more mature players.
Wonderful server, it has been a great experience thus far and I do plan to continue playing here. I have enjoyed rather nostalgic game play in survival mode. It is fun to get back to the basics to build your base from the ground up! I should mention the staff are great as well, hospitable! All around a great server with lots of freedom to enjoy yourself. 10/10 would suggest to others.

I do have a larger flat world, that you might be able to utilize; however, seeing as you have played minecraft for 5 years (a veteran as myself) you would understand that you can't always simply take a players word for what they claim their abilities are. If you join and ask, I am on currently and would be more than happy to allow you to show me a good sampling of your capabilities in simple Gm1.
