this mod is such a load of bull.
besides the recipe is wrong, you cant get red stone ore.
when you mine it you get the dust ,no ore ,thats only for gold and iron.
and its over powered, a good recipe is...
    :DBlock: :DBlock: :DBlock:
    :DBlock: :RedShroom: :Glass:
    :DBlock: :DBlock: :DBlock:
    :RedShroom: = red stone
the dimond blocks make it not be so over powered

My earlier post was not a recipe. I was trying to show how ANYBODY could make the picture at the beginning of the forum.

Oh, and since we now know that this is just the pistons mod, stop downloading it. We don't want to make this idiot rich now, do we?

I may be "newly spawned" but im smart enough to realize, thats just glass, redstone, and a bunch of pressure plates, and i also think that all those comments by other "newly spawned" people are the same person with other accounts

This is most definitely true. In fact, anyone with a simple mod like too many items could make this image in less than a minute.

    :stone: :stone:
    :Lava: :Glass: :_:
    :stone: :stone: :stone:

Where the :Lava: is a block of redstone ore, the :_: a pressure pad.

This mod, if created, would have two major parts.
    Part 1: Physics.
To learn physics control, you must find a Book. A very special Book, hidden in a new world. This world is 'Dunkerhook Woods', a world filled with tall trees, and air that can slowly heal the player. One part of the woods will be filled with stumps, making a clearing, and the Book is in the center of this clearing. With this book, the player can fly, bring items to them, lessen gravity, change the direction of gravity, and instantly freeze water or turn lava into smoothstone (or vise versa).
    Part 2: Biology
Similar to physics, the biology Book is in a new world: a giant, but finite, dome of air under the water. This Book is found in the middle of a large, hollow tree in the middle of the dome. This dome also has puddles of a light blue liquid. With the Book, the player can use these to move about the dome. The Book also lets the player transform into any mob that they want, and allows the player to heal themselves.

Of course, the books will be difficult to get to, and finding how to enter the worlds will be a secret, making it more of an adventure for players, with a large reward at the end.

    Epic mod.
An idea for a future update: A remote control.
Pretty much this would be a portable transmitter. Don't know how you would change channel, maybe some sort of docking block. When right clicked, it transmits for about half a second. This would be more convenient for radio controlled doors etc.

I have no Idea about the feasibility, but perhaps you could add a slightly more advanced version of teleport signs.

For example, You give each computer a name (you'd probably want this anyways). Then, when redstone is put in, the player is teleported to another computer.

Another idea, if you wanted to advance it specifically for multiplayer, would be to use this to make battle carts. A battle cart could be crafted like:
    [] :tnt: []
    [] :Water: []
    [] :obsidian: []
Where :Water: is a CPU and :obsidian: is the mincart.

Then, like in the programming game C-Robots, the players would program their battle bot on when to fire, where to aim, where to search for others, and where to move.

Good Job for a first mod, but I think you might want to expand it a bit.
Since you already have created the redstone ingots, use them some more.
    For example:
    :Red: :GoldBar: :Red:
    :Red: [] :Red:
    where :Red: is redstone ingot
This could make a piece of IRON MAN ARMOR! (The helmet, if that wasn't obvious enough)
Make all four, put them on, and then you can fly and shoot lasers!

    Keep up the good work

So, what's so special about a lava sword? Does it light your enemy on fire? I'm honestly getting tired of the whole "OOH! I can make a pick-axe that can cut through the entire world in 5 seconds!" mods.

No. I think he is a squid and not an aquatic geometric figure. Maybe if I make it decent enough to add a sequel, though.

You wake up in a small but cozy looking room. You soon realize that you're probably going to have to find some means of escape, and, sure enough, you discover that the door to your room is unlocked when you throw anything in the trash. You grab some bread for later, and then your off. You soon find yourself traveling through mysterious rooms with instructions on the walls. Thus begins your escape from The Nefarious Dr. Squidman!

posted a message on [Req] Redstone Logic Blocks
I don't know if it can be done with the current redstone dynamics, but here's my idea:
You can craft new logic blocks for redstone. Two opposite sides would be the inputs and a third would be the output. By right clicking, you can select which logic function you want it to compute (and, or, xor, etc.). Then you feed redstone into the input sides. If there is no redstone, the block would automatically read it as off. And that is a summary of my idea.
    Here's a possible recipe:
    :Iron: :RedShroom: :Iron:
    :RedShroom: :--+: :RedShroom:
    :Iron: :Iron: :Iron:
Where :RedShroom: = redstone dust, :--+: = redstone torch, and :Iron: = Iron

If you think that you could possibly build this, please comment or send me a message.

    posted a message on AustraliaCraft
This sounds like a great mod idea. However, I think it would work better as a world generator style mod (see jurrasicraft). This world would be smaller than the surface world, perhaps a quarter of the size. To get there, you could add a recipe for a large boat, or perhaps simply a motor that you could attach to the boat (like the flux capacitor in jurrasicraft). Entering this would take you to the coast of Australia. Australia would have three biomes:
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________
Desert: The desert would be similar to that of the surface world, but with the occasional large reddish rock (like Ayers rock). These rocks would be mineral rich and a good size so you could make a fort out of it.
    Crafting:
With this red rock, you could craft a new set of tools which work especially well on items found in Australia (Special wood, minerals, etc.)
Instead of a sword, this red rock could be used to make a machete:
    [] :Red: :Red:
    [] :Red: []
    [] :|: []
    where :Red: = red rock
The machete would take the job of the axe and the sword, chopping trees and killing mobs would take the same damage.
You could also use this red rock to make a portal between the Surface world and Australia. When made in the surface world, the portal would take you to a random location, so your not limited to spawning on the coast.
    Mobs:
    Neutral:
Kangaroos: Have a jump height similar to that of a spider, health similar to that of a cow, and have a medium attack strength
Joeys: These baby kangaroos would be found near their mother. If you attack them, the mother will attack you, along with any other kangaroos nearby.
    Passive:
    None
    Friendly:
Tamed Joey: If you give a Joey enough cocoa beans, it will start following you. It will not help in battle until it grows into an adult (by giving it more cocoa beans).
Tamed Kangaroo: When your Tamed Joey grows up, it becomes a Tamed Kangaroo. Tamed Kangaroos will follow you and fight for you. If you place a saddle on them, and then hop on them, you control them (unlike saddled pigs). This allows you to jump higher and move faster throughout Australia. Kangaroos can not be taken to the surface world, but will spawn near you when you come back.
    Hostile:
Sand Creepers: They're creepers. Sand colored creepers. No big deal.
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________
Rain forest: The rain forest would be a flatter version of the surface forests. These forests would be littered with small ponds and lots of greenery. The trees in these forests would be Eucalyptus trees. Eucalyptus leaves would be able to heal one heart.
    Crafting:
The Eucalyptus wood could be used to craft two new items
    Didgeridoo:
    [] :Logs^: []
    [] :Logs^: []
    [] :Logs^: []
    where :Logs^: = Eucalyptus wood.
the didgeridoo would make a sound when right clicked, and possible attract mobs.
    Boomerang:
    [] [] []
    :Logs^: [] :Logs^:
    [] :Logs^: []
    where :Logs^: = Eucalyptus wood
When left clicked, the boomerang works like a club. When right clicked, you throw it. If it hits a mob, it will drop in front of them. If not, it will automatically come back to you.
    Mobs:
    Neutral:
Wombats: Little brown bears, often found near ponds. Can do a lot more damage than you would think
    Passive:
Koalas: Cute little gray and white bears. Don't do anything but munch on eucalyptus leaves and go toward light during night.
    Friendly:
    Possibly tamed koalas or wombats
    Hostile:
Snakes: Can spawn anytime. Attacks are poisonous, so you'll lose health even after being attacked, like fire but a lot slower. The poison is stopped after eating a eucalyptus leaf. drops scales, perhaps for use in armor.
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________
Coast: The coast is the first biome you would find. It would wrap around the entire world, and would be much like a coast in the surface world. However, this coast would be different in two main ways: The light penetrates deeper into the water, so you can still see up to about 7 blocks deep, and there would be a coral reef about ten blocks out.
Sponges would be a rather odd creation. If they're not attached to another part of the coral reef, they will float up until they're on the surface of the water, like the opposite of sand. Perhaps waves could also occur occasionally (essentially a source block of water moving across the top of the ocean)
    Crafting:
    Sponge doors:
sponge doors would be a door that does not block water like other doors. I don't know if this would be useful, but I needed some sort of recipe for the coast biome.
    [] [] []
    [] :sponge: []
    [] :sponge: []
    where :sponge: = sponge.
    Mobs:
    Neutral:
    None
    Passive:
Big fish: Act like squids and drops scales.
    Friendly:
None (because a tamed fish would be pretty lame)
    Hostile:
Poisonous Fish: Moves slowly and can poison you. Will attack big fish. Drops scales.

All fish can be caught with a fishing rod. If you see a fish, let out your reel. If they pull, you can bring them up to shore, where they will flop around until they die.

posted a message on [1.5_01]Star Wars Mod[0.04.1]LEGAL UPDATE: Please Read OP[WIP]
    Ok. So, here's my idea:
Only have the four colors of light saber found in the Star Wars movies (Blue, Green, Purple, and Red)
With any light saber, right clicking a dropped block that you can't quite reach (for example, in the bottom of a 5 block pit) will pick up that item, just like using the force.
If you have a red light saber, right clicking a mob will shock it, and won't take up any of the light saber's charge.
