So everything in Minecraft is black. When I tried Google, I kept seeing the black screen glitch usually caused by messing up while modding, but no I literally meant

EVERYTHING IS BLACK.

• i've deleted and redownloaded the bin
• i've tried changing my graphics settings around
• other games run fine
• im not using any resource packs
• help

I made my minecraft account in 2009 when I was 12. I made my username pwnzor29. I bought an entirely new copy of the game just to escape that name.

Wasteland Biome. Gray or green water, only dirt or gray grass, darker clouds/sky if possible, rarely a dead tree, sometimes instead of villages large dilapidated buildings. Mostly fields though. Zombies can spawn any time of day and have spawners in the buildings. Lots of abandoned mine shafts underground. Lots of dead bushes too.

Before I start explaining, here's a picture:

That there is my problem. Those lines between every block. Anybody know how to get rid of them? Anybody have the same problem?

I wish they had more types of carpets rather than making it look like a wool block.

People often watch people on Youtube and think "Wow, I can do that!" and set up unregistered hypercam 2, start recording through their laptops built-in mic, and expect to get big like famous Youtubers do. Making Youtube videos for fun is one thing, but trying to do it for recognition is futile unless you're willing to spend hundreds on editing software, recording software, a quality microphone, etc. Making videos like famous Youtubers do requires a good sense of humor, and charm. Now so many people have jumped on the Let's Play bandwagon and beat that concept to death, I'm wondering if there's any hope left for originality and comedy.

I've never seen one but I also don't want them to be more common. They're kind of an eyesore and there's not much to do there. It's just something kind of cool to come across sometimes I guess.

Sunflowers are a great addition, but not as a solution to the compass problem. The sunflowers only facing east is a stupid idea and will probably make a lot of gardens look ridiculous.

One time on a friend's server I filled a small house with hundreds of different mobs and dropped a piece of tnt in. There was so much exp I couldn't see.
