Hello all! I hate to ask about an "outdated" version, but I'm still playing 1.5.2 (for a variety of reasons) using MCA 3.4.0. I built my house in a tree (I hollowed out the tree so that the trunk is intact but from the outside it looks normal). There are some "branches" (wood blocks) on the floor of my house. So I had a villager follow me to my house and up into the treehouse. I then tried to set her home point, by whether I tried to set in on a "branch" or on the leaves it told me "this home point is invalid." Is there any reason I give my villager a home in my tree? I've tried all the tips given on setting homepoints (making sure I'm not next to a half block, making sure the roof is high enough, etc) but nothing works.
I started a new world (so I could be a monarch) and I'm having the same issue. Even though I'm (temporarily) living in a village house I cannot set my wife's homepoint (every time I try, no matter where in the house, it says it's invalid). She's gone (not sure if it's a bug or if I just can't find her) but I had a daughter and I can't set her homepoint either. Every point says it's invalid. Is this a bug I can fix, or what?

I have an idea for when you update. I was playing with mo' creatures, I took my whitehull across a vast ocean to another landmass, where (out of necessity) I tamed a donkey and outfitted it with a chest (as you can do in vanilla 1.6). Imagine both of our hearbreak when after loading my ship with the contents he had carried for me; I had to leave my faithful companion behind. Would it be possible to make a way to bring your animals aboard? So you can take that faithful steed or trusty burro with you on your voyages into the unknown? Just a thought.
sorry for double post... but hmm.. I dont think I can get it to load for some reason cause I have the new launcher... maybe I am doing it wrong. there is no crashing but the mod doesn't load. everything should load fine.. but the mod doesnt even get loaded.
The mod hasn't been updated for 1.6 yet. If you want to use it, you need to downgrade to 1.5.2
Hi there, I tried to download the latest version, but my anti-virus software blocked it, saying it contained malware
"HEUR:Exploit.Script.Blocker.U" What is that, and is it dangerous?
A warning for users of this great mod, who also have railcraft installed: on 1.5.2 railcraft adds hidden blocks used for their movement tracker (aura goggles). It makes all the boats, including the Punt and Whitehall (and I assume the Hoy), behave glitchy.
The quick solution to this, is editing the railcraft config file: look for 'block.hidden=[id]' and change the id to 0
That might be my problem, I have railcraft! I'll try it tonight.
That was my problem, small boats now works like a dream! I can't WAIT to take that elegant punt out for an expedition. Now I can store me goodies on the go!

That might be my problem, I have railcraft! I'll try it tonight.
There is an option for it, but I think it's broken in the new version. At least when you pick from seed and enter large biomes, it isn't any different than a map created with normal biomes. So i think it's broken. I imagine if you load a world from a dat file, it's supposed to read whether it's large biomes or not automatically, and it appears it isn't.
Correct, I'm looking at a world from a dat file (save game) and it's showing a completely different map than the one I'm living on. The biomes are regular size. Do you think it will be fixed next update?
Would it be possible to give an option to look at the map with the Large Biomes on? I've created a world with the Large Biomes option turned on, but AMIDST is showing a regular world (I use Magic Launcher, so It's showing my position on the map and everything, just not with Large Biomes. Would that even be possible?
Getting stuck on the collision box is a relatively easy fix... which should go in this weekend. The errant exit (jumping out of the boat and winding up somewhere else) is slightly more difficult, but I think I have a fix for that as well (I do a lot of "development" work during my 90 minute commute).
It shouldn't have anything to do with the problem you're seeing, but were you running in creative of survival mode? I do all of my testing in creative mode (it's just easier), so it's possible my attempt at duplicating the problem wasn't so... duplicative.
I try to run in survival, but if I got stuck, I used TMI to switch and fly out. Then I switched back to survival and tried again. I think the link I sent you I left it in creative though. I appreciate all you've done to try to help, I really do wish I could use this mod, it's awesome having storage on a boat!
Got it. Tried it, I'm jumping in and out at the same place (although jumping out doesn't push you far enough to the side, and you get stuck on the collision box... will have to fix that).
Try turning off your other mods and see if you still have the problem.
I loaded Forge (obviously), Optifine, and Small Boats That's it. The boats functioned as intended (I was getting in and out). Except the Hoy. As you said, I think I'm stuck in a collision box. I get stuck on top of it, not far away. I turned on each of my mods one at a time. By that I mean at all times I only had Optifine, Small Boats, and one other mod. I had the original problem with ALL of them. As soon I removed all but Small Boats, it worked fine (except the hoy). I don't know, I'm pretty much done with it right now. It was a nice concept, but I don't know. I'm at a loss.

It loads mod dynamically without modifying the .jar

Another reason I'm glad I use Magic Launcher.

Every other mob I've tried I can edit no problem, it's just that one mod. What did I do wrong?

That might be my problem, I have railcraft! I'll try it tonight.

Correct, I'm looking at a world from a dat file (save game) and it's showing a completely different map than the one I'm living on. The biomes are regular size. Do you think it will be fixed next update?

I try to run in survival, but if I got stuck, I used TMI to switch and fly out. Then I switched back to survival and tried again. I think the link I sent you I left it in creative though. I appreciate all you've done to try to help, I really do wish I could use this mod, it's awesome having storage on a boat!

I (personally) would prefer Ezio over Altair. But anything from Assassin's Creed would be EPIC! (AC is my favorite game series, can you tell? )
