And such is the story of Bricklion's RPG Texture pack. It lived a full life, it enjoyed every moment. From farming, to mining cobblestone, to scraping tirelessly at diamonds. And also running from skeletons.

EDIT; And, I just re-realzied that I haven't played Minecraft in FOREVER. And I also re-realized, that while I was playing; I didn't get very far at all. I would maybe build a house or something, and then not like the area and start over.
I need to fix my gaming habits, and actually play games. Instead of just messing around in them.
Sadly to say it man, but he would. You and me have been around the longest and have supported this tex. pack the most. I even got involved in helping w/ it for a short time. But you have to remember, he flat out FORGOT about this pack entirely before. It was only when you PM'd him that he remembered.
As I already said, he's probably playing Skyrim, trying to track down that thief who stole his sweetroll. All the while dodging arrows. Can't be fightin' dragons w/ an arrow in the knee!
The GUI is actually about a billion times more work than the terrain file so I'm working on that first. I've already got a few blocks done, but I'll need to do some more play testing to get a feel for some of them, like the End Portal Frame blocks.
Alright man! I'm gonna get a metric tonne of homework done, after that I'll be online.
My first recommendation is that you finish and release the GUI elements, so that we fans can satisfy our lust by merging them w/ the 1.0 Fan Update. Once that's done, I think you won't have much complaining from us while we wait for you to update and get back in the game!
EDIT: Seriously though, I've been wanting to use that inventory screen for MONTHS!
ZOMFG, you're back! It's pretty late right now, so I'm gonna pass out, but when I get home after school and finish my homework I'm definitely going to be spending time in this thread :biggrin.gif:

I was actually doing some work for the pack.png for Bricklion if you read through the thread, infact I was going to buy him Minecraft as insentive to update the pack to 1.8.1 a while ago. Now Minecraft is fully released, more expensive; and it seems as though Bricklion has moved on.
Yeah man, lots of people would be absolutely THRILLED to see you update this! I know it's a lot of work, but you'll be proud of yourself when you finish. And to top it off, if you still haven't bought it yourself, I'll buy you Minecraft if you get it updated!
But; if you've abandoned the project, or are taking a break, at least let your fans and supporters know!
edit: 19pre4 doesn't change too much, I'll post an update if someone wants it but there's only six blocks changed, 2 in items and 4 in terrain.
If you could do that, that would be awesome! Cause lately, I've just been using the default texture pack. And I don't really look for texture packs anymore I just check this thread to see when it's getting updated.
So, if you could do that, that'd be awesome! But for now I'll just play 1.9.3!
I use an unofficial mashup of this pack to power my 1.9 experience.
I've tried a bunch of packs but this one is by far my favorite. With all the new additions to Minecraft, I think we'll start seeing more themed like this one.
I made one minor change to the terrain.png though. In 1.8+ since we have stone bricks as an actual block now, and I love your cobblestone texture, I swapped it for the stone bricks texture and put in a new cobblestone one and swapped for Coteriecraft's armor until you have your own sets.

I know, it's really sad. This is the best texture pack I've used, he has a really great style. At least there's a fan update now, thanks Kirbydude!
