Though I enjoy the new mobs and such, this is getting ridiculous. The upcoming Redstone Update is in the direction of turning Vanilla Minecraft into Tekkit. I remember back to when there was no Iron Golems or generated structures. Though it has gotten a lot more fun recently with the recent updates, Mojang is crossing the line. They need to slow down the major updates because soon they won't have any reasonable ideas.
Creepers are one of the smartest because they have have path finding. However, the wither is definitely the smartest because it is in a search and destroy mode and has amazing accuracy.
It may be because you are on hard mode (no pun intended), there is a higher spawn rate of undead mobs. The percentage of the ones who have butter armor is the same, but the all the mobs spawn more, including butter powered mobs.
If you have single player commands on you can spawn in end portal(the actual block, not end portal frame). The block end portal block is black yet emits light. The command is /give (yourplayername) 119 64
You will need the best gear you can get your hands on. Some form of regeneration is almost entirely neccassary. You should have snow golems so it will be distracted. Do not ever fight the Wither near your house. Spawn it deep underground in a controlled, well lighted small area.
Wool only spawns in Desert Temples and Villages. Glowstone can only be found in the nether and trading with villagers. Either you misinterpreted something or you are faking. There may be a minuscule chance that there was a glitch in the code but I doubt it.
If you have access to the Nether move your portal into your base. If you have done this get some glowstone and make an underground farm. That way you will never have to leave. Make sure to include trees and cows. Also, try to get some screenshots.
