Could you make me a skin of a salty old medieval fisherman? :D
He has unkempt dark hair, a tan complexion and a salty beard. His shirt is faded and grey and his pants are red-brown. You can throw on a red-brown vest if you are feeling generous.

    Thanks in advance!

EDIT: You can cancel this request. Have Christmas off!

posted a message on ServersToAvoid.com Minecraft server list idea
I have to agree with most of the people here. Stick with good server lists.
A list of bad servers seems redundant at best.

posted a message on Fix the Entities!
Yeah, Minecraft entities have been glitchy since the beginning, and even more so in recent updates because of their growing complexity. Entities feel like their disconnected from the world, following their own physics and such. Mojang should definitely spend some time making entities more stable.

posted a message on Obsidian and Bedrock Should Hide Player Tags
    Quote from morshu9001

Obsidian is considered the ultimate material to make your base out of (besides lava, which is impractical). I hate how people can see your nametag from really far away when you're in an obsidian fortress. It just makes it impossible to hide your base unless you dig very far down.

If you couldn't see nametags through obsidian, you could use obsidian as an insulation to hide your base. I thought of this because my underground base was discovered when someone forgot to sneak when someone above-ground was near.

Or maybe make another block also act as nametag insulation? Brick possibly?

Then again, most theives use x-ray to find your base anyway. That's why I gave up on PVP servers. Not to say this suggestion doesn't have merit- it just isn't all that necessary.

    posted a message on Rice
Although a fine idea, I think it would be suited better as a mod rather than being put in the main game.

However, if rice was merely a lush biome replacement for wheat (aka a "flavour" item) I think it would fit quite nicely.

I haven't had the privilege of playing DF, what's it's lore like?

Basically, it's randomly generated. Every time a world is generated, civilizations are born, expand and die. The people within history's important actions and professions are recorded. The main feature of this recorded history is that the AI remembers the events, people and heroes of their nation and other nations. They will engrave their histories onto walls and artifacts and carve statues of their heroes. The problem of this being in Minecraft is that there is no history generation, or even "human" AI to speak of. Amazing for a game like DF, not so plausible for a game like Minecraft.

Although a nice idea, I would very much prefer a randomly generated history much like Dwarf Fortress. Unfortunately,I can't see Dwarf Fortress-esque history happening in Minecraft.

I always felt that the landscape looked uglier than in the days of Alpha. I really miss my nice, sandy coastslines.

I applaud you sir! I especially like how all of these dimensions fall into the classic themes of Earth (Overworld), Water (Water Dimension), Fire (Nether), Air (Skylands) and Void/Ether (The End). I look forward to more updates.

I like the concept. Perhaps they would only be active on a certain mode, because some prefer a more "relaxed" survival experience. Also, they might be a bit more Minecraft-y if they were to be testificates or animal men.

OT: This is a dumb idea, I think we need age checks on the MC forums....

Really, although I find this idea to lackluster, there's no need to act like you are at the moment.

As for the suggestion, people have wanted to add the option for genders for a long time. The sound effect is a valid change which can be placed in the options menu. However, breasts are out of the question. Not only would they look extremely ridiculous and polygonal, but they might also have wrong implications. Woman =/= Boobs

Sounds reasonable. I was pretty disappointed to see the swampy biome looking as it is.
