I would accept a sponsorship, however. Our community has been down for some while now and we aren't exactly certain of the amount of player-base we would have return. Precisely, we aren't sure what we could give back to the host in return. Any good ideas apart from money right now??

Believe me, I'm not one of those little twelve-year-olds, looking for a free server.

I have experience in HTML, Scratch, Support Ticket Management and other things.

I'm interested in why you cannot afford a cheap server if you're not one of those 12 year olds who doesn't have a job.

    Name: Hope
    IGN: ActuallyCute
Skype: I don't want to say here
    Age: 17
    Maturity Level (1-10): 9
Past Experience(s): I started working with servers back in Minecraft Classic using MCLAWL and helped set up at least 20 servers just by joining games titled "A Minecraft Server" where the owner didn't know what they were doing. I then set up a little survival server in Minecraft alpha which had a great community but shut down due to the amount of bugs in the game including people using cheat engine to dupe. I then helped a few friends set up their servers including FamousCraft and SimmoLand which both were survival server with plots, this was during 2013. They shut down due to the Lockette exploit where you could bypass chest protection. More recently I've run a couple servers including a zombie minigame server which went really well except it shut down when it got moved to a HUB server and I lost all control of it.
Why Do You Think We Should Choose You: I know what I'm doing, I'm fair, friendly and just love making people happy :)
Why Do You Wish To Join: Why not? It would be fun ^_^
How Much Time Can You Dedicate To The Server: About 5 hours on weekdays and about 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
What Are You Willing To Contribute (general-wise): I can help set up plugin configurations, just play and be a friend to players and of course keep away rule breakers so the game is not ruined for the others.
Have You Worked For Other Servers: Lots. You can read more above ^
Other Info: I haven't uploaded a pic to instagram for 7 weeks!!
    Timezone: GMT (From the UK)

Position: Admin ( duhh, who would say anything else xD )

aww man didnt get accepted xD

    Reasons:

    1. You mentioned you liked our hub. We are not a hub server so I don't know where that came from.

    2. You currently are admin on other servers as you mentioned. I need a team which will stick with me and help actually manage the server instead of hopping between different servers trying to help on all of them.

    Thanks for applying though.

Dramatic Skys is an add on pack that will make the skies in your game HD with realistic clouds and lighting. This pack works with any other resource pack, just simply add it over the other pack on the selection screen! This pack also causes no lag, none at all, so even the simplest of computers and laptops can use it easily without issue! This pack will vary a lot from my other packs, as it has MANY skies in it. Every area will have a sky that will vary depending on the biomes of Minecraft. So, in the desert at night, you will see the milky way, but while in the mountains you will see clouds and it won't be clear. This resource pack, as the title entails, will be the ultimate resource pack for sky textures. Mine included. This is the trail version of the pack, meaning it is not finished. There is a Patreon to help support the pack and gain benefits of doing so (Like beta versions). This is a large and ambitious project given there are a total of 79+ biomes as of 1.19x. Each of these will have a day sky, sunset/sunrise, and a night sky; Making your Minecraft World more dynamic and realistic.

    New to the pack:

    - Animated Auroras
    - Shooting stars
    - Meteor showers
    -Animated Sun
    - Color and Fog Maps
    - Height based sky textures
    - Fabric Support
    - Tornados
    - More coming soon

    Newest Addition: Tornados!

    Legal:

Please do not steal/modify textures unless for personal uses only! Do not create downloads for this on your own! Always link back to this site due to it being the original location. Texture Pack and details belong to thebaum64 (Christian Baum) Thank you.

0.8.1 - fixed NPE if folder "mods" not existing
    0.8.0 - first release

    Fixing common problems

    1. The order of the mods is important as some of them are designed to "overwrite" parts of other mods.
    2. The ModLoader has to be first in the mods list, use the button Up to move it to first position. ModLoader is not needed if Forge 4.0 or newer is installed.
    3. Then come (if you need them) ModLoaderMP and Forge.
    4. Then come the rest of the mods and last comes OptiFine. Only one OptiFine edition may be active as they overwrite each other.
    5. Do not forget to start with a clean minecraft.jar. If it is already modified or patched, then some mods may not work correctly.
    6. A mod should appear either in the internal or the external mod list, but not in both at the same time.
    7. Mods which have status "No mods found" needs to be repackaged to be used. The mod ZIP file usually have a folder "put_in_minecraft_jar" or similar which contains one or more files like "acx.class". The contents of this folder have to be zipped in a separate ZIP file and added as an internal mod. This solution works with almost all problematic mods.
    8. If you get an error "No accelerated mode found" or "Bad OpenGL drivers" you may try running Minecraft with less memory. Go to "Setup -> Advanced", enter 256 in the field Memory and test again. This helps with some integrated graphics cards.

Note: Removing the block that you spawned on, and not placing a block back (So if there is no block on your spawn point) then dieing may spawn you elsewhere as it is too small to pick a spawn close by. So it will spawn you on the mainland, and it will be impossible to get back. Be careful! (This problem is fixed for the versions that are above this spoiler.)

"How do I keep my water from re-freezing?"
This is a very simple fix. To stop your water from re-freezing, as this is in a Tundra (snow) biome, simply place a block above your water source, or a torch next to the source. There are alternative downloads for the level.dat file, but this will eliminate a challenge and therefore you can't complete them all.

    Alternative level.dat downloads

"How do I light a Nether portal without Flint & Steel?"
This is very simple to do, but it may take a few tries. The basic idea is to get your lava to light a piece of wood or something else flammable, and have the fire spread through the portal frame so it ignites, therefore activating it.
    Step-by-step guide by iiTzWho

How to light the portal without Flint & Steel

It is actually really easy, if the wood burns out before it lights, try again

The rest will be in spoilers, each step in a separate spoiler

    First Step
First, set up the portal (I wasn't in SkyBlock for this, therefor had 14 obsidian not 10)

    Second
Set up the wood, and a little barrier so the lava doesn't go everywhere

    Third
Place the lava down, let it catch fire to one of the planks, then grab it back up

    Fourth
    Both planks should be burning..

    Fifth
The portal should be lit, if not - try again

Hope this helped somehow, good-luck with SkyBlock :)

TL;DR - Set up portal, put wood at base and back of portal, light wood at base, let it spread to back, BAM portal lit.

"How do I get gold ingots?"

Go to the Nether (with guide above) and make a platform there for zombie pigmen to spawn on. Kill them for gold nuggets. Once you have 9 gold nuggets, place them in a crafting table in a 3x3 fashion, which creates one gold ingot.

citricsquid posted a message on How to advertise your Minecraft Server Host on the Minecraft Forum

We are not currently processing applications at this time for hosts to advertise in this section. We will update this thread when we start processing applications again.

The Minecraft Server Hosts section requires that all hosts meet the following requirements:

    1. The business must be a legally registered business and that business registration information must be displayed on the business website.

    2. The business website must have a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

    3. The business website and control panels must follow security best practices, connections must be secured.

    4. All software used by the business must be registered to the business where applicable.

    5. Representatives of the business must not have a history of Minecraft Forum rule violations.

Decisions on whether or not to accept an application are made at the discretion of the Minecraft Forum staff. The question we ask when reviewing an application is "do we believe that this host will provide a high quality and secure service to our members?" and if we have doubts about the answer then we will not accept the application.

Applicants should expect a decision within 5 business days, however as this is a free service we make no guarantees about response time, and applicants must not submit multiple applications if they have received confirmation of receipt of their application.

A host that is accepted will be asked to agree to the following terms:

     1. All representatives of the company must list "I am a representative of [company]" in their signature, [company] must be the name of the company as listed on minecraftforum.net with the name linking to the thread.

    2. All representatives of the company must abide by all forum rules. All company representatives are the responsibility of the company operator(s).

    3. All representatives of the company will not at any point engage in any flaming of any other host and will not post anything in any other hosts thread. If they believe another host to be breaking the rules they must report the post and move on.

    4. A company representative must be available to respond to any contact from minecraftforum.net forum staff members within 5 business days.

    5. A company MUST NOT represent itself as approved by minecraftforum.net, hosts that we have permitted to post on minecraftforum.net in the hosting section do not have any approval from minecraftforum.net, only permission to post.

    6. A company and the representatives of that company must not at any point solicit reviews from their customers (or other associates) for a reward. Encouraging reviews is acceptable, offering a reward (discounts, account credit, free services) is not and any instance will result in dismissal from minecraftforum.net.

    7. All companies are expected to understand that minecraftforum.net can expect appropriate behaviour from all companies and can terminate any companies access to the forum at any time if behaviour from that company or it's representatives is deemed to be unacceptable.

    Editions

    Even Older Versions

Even older versions of OptiFine are available in the OptiFine history.

If you have previously used MCPatcher for HD Textures, HD Fonts or Better Grass (important)

Follow these steps to prevent a possible "Black Screen" problem when installing OptiFine:

    1. Temporarily revert back to the Default Texture Pack.

    2. Uninstall the HD Textures, HD Fonts, and Better Grass mods from the MCPatcher. These functions are included in OptiFine.

    3. Set Graphics to Fancy

    4. Install OptiFine and test with the Default Texture Pack to make sure everything is working.

    5. Select your previous texture pack and graphics settings

    6. Run Minecraft and enjoy

    Compatibility with other mods

When installing OptiFine together with other mods always make sure to install OptiFine last. The only exception are mods which are designed to be installed after OptiFine and say so in their install instructions.

If you need ModLoader: Install OptiFine AFTER ModLoader.

If you need Forge: Install OptiFine AFTER Forge.

MCPatcher is NOT needed for HD textures, HD fonts and BetterGrass, they are included in OptiFine. Install OptiFine without MCPatcher's HD features for best performance.

If you need DynamicLights (ModLoader edition): Install OptiFine AFTER DynamicLights.

Compatible with: ModLoader, Forge, SinglePlayerCommands, TooManyItems, PlasticCraft, CJB's Modpack, Zan's Minimap, Rei's Minimap, DynamicLights, GLSL Shaders 2, LittleBlocks and many other.

Not compatible with: CCTV, The Aether.

This mod is addressed to anyone who wants to make a video in-game and have an in depth control over the camera placement.
It allows you to create a path that the player will automatically follow, control what the player sees along this path, and set up the player's precise speed through a global timing for his traveling, all this through commands.

    Features:
    - Recording Timelapses
    - Cinematic Movies
    - Smooth Camera Paths
    - etc.

    Disclaimer:
This mod will not allow you to cheat in any way. If you want to use this mod on a server, you'll have to have OP rights. To use it in a Singleplayer World, you'll have to have cheats enabled.

Also, I don't offer any support for the 1.8 version of this mod anymore. Bugs will only be fixed in the 1.9 version.

Marglyph posted a message on TooManyItems, the inventory editor and more (1.8 Forge is here!)
    Marglyph's TooManyItems

Create & customize items, including those not available even in creative mode. Save and load entire inventories. Switch game modes and control time, weather, and more.

Download TMI for Minecraft 1.8 (Forge mod) (2/14 bugfix update)

Download TMI for Minecraft 1.8 (jar mod)

Installing: Put the Forge version of TMI into your Forge mods folder. The non-Forge version may be used with a custom launcher or by installing as a jar mod.

    TMI for 1.8 new features:
    • The new 1.8 items
    • Enhanced enchantment, potion, and firework panels
    • All-new custom items: colored leather, player heads, signs with text, filled flower pots, preselected note blocks
    • New fuzzy search! You don't have to type all the letters (e.g. rcmp for redstone comparator)
    • Press enter in the search box to spawn the top item! Get items quicker than ever
    • Everything now fits in a sidebar; no more overlap with potion effects etc.
    • Easier My Items (favorites) editing with helpful tooltips
    • Rename save states
    • Unlimited stacks is now a global setting, along with keep items on death, prevent rain and more
    • Unlimited stacks refresh without ModLoader/Forge as long as you've opened the inventory
    • Switch to spectator mode
    • Improved multiplayer custom item spawning (still only if within chat length limit)
    • Fixed some bugs, possibly added new ones
    • Removed Herobrine spawner
Copyright: All of TooManyItems except for the small portion excerpted from the original Minecraft game is copyright 2011-2013 Marglyph. TooManyItems is free for personal use only. Do not redistribute TooManyItems, including in mod packs. Making YouTube videos using TMI is good though!

    More download versions

Download links have ads on them to provide some support for modding Minecraft. You are not required to click on the ads to download TMI; there is a skip button in the top right corner. You do not need to download any installers or download managers.

    For 1.7.10 non-Forge version
    For 1.7.10 Forge version
    For 1.7.9 non-Forge version
    For 1.7.2 Forge version

(Note: 1.6.4 version has a problem with the newest Forge that did not exist with the original 1.6.4 Forge release. Unless I have time to go back and fix this, only use 1.6.4F with an older Forge release.)
    Older: 1.7.6, 1.7.5, 1.7.4, 1.7.2, 1.6.4, 1.6.4F, 13w48b, 13w47e, 13w42b, 13w41b, 13w39b, 13w38c, 1.6.3 NF, 1.6.2NF, 1.6.2F, 13w38a, 13w37b, 1.6.1 NF, 1.6.1 F

    Minecraft Beta: RC2, 1.8.1 / 1.8, 1.9pre6, 1.9pre5, 1.9pre4, 1.9pre3, 1.9pre2,1.9pre1, 1.7.3/1.7.2/1.7_01, 1.6.6 and 1.6.5, 1.6.4, 1.5_01

    Documentation for old (pre-1.8) TMI
Better documentation for 1.8+ will be up shortly.

Turn On/Off: Press the "o" key while in the inventory screen. You can change this key by editing the configuration file.

Add items: Left-click on items in the right sidebar to add full stacks, or right-click to add one at a time.

Configuration file: Find the directory in which your minecraft saves folder and options.txt are, and once you have used TMI at least once you will also find TooManyItems.txt there. This contains options that you can change, not all of which are documented yet.

Spawners: In some previous versions, to create different kinds of spawners, edit the "spawner" line in the configuration file. Use at your own risk; in some (older) versions of Minecraft, spawners of non-mob entities such as boats can crash the game and wreck your save.

Unlimited stacks/tools (single-player only): Shift-left-click on items in the right sidebar to add unlimited stacks OR unlimited-use tools or flint and steel. ModLoader is required for "true" unlimited stacks. Without ModLoader the quantity of >64 stacks will refresh when you open your inventory.

Tabs: Use the chest, star, and book icons to change between the item, favorites, and enchant tabs.

Favorites: This allows you to save commonly used items. ADD to the favorites panel by: (1) clicking an item on the favorites panel, (2) alt-clicking an item in the items panel, or (3) clicking the Favorite button in the enchant panel. REMOVE an item from the favorites panel by alt-clicking it.

Enchanting: (in SP, or may work on some Bukkit servers) Click an item on the enchanting panel to switch to that type of item. Use the + and - buttons to change the levels of individual enchantments. Click the Create button to make the enchanted item once, or the Favorite button to add it to the favorites panel.

Trash (single-player only): Drop an item stack on the item sidebar or the trash icon to delete it. Click the trash icon to turn "delete mode" on and off (in "delete mode" you will delete any item you click on -- useful for selectively deleting a lot of items). Shift-click thee trash icon to wipe out your inventory.

Game mode: Click the "S", "C", and "A" icons on the toolbar for survival, creative, and adventure mode, respectively.

Time: Click the sun and moon icons to set the time to sunrise, noon, sunset, or midnight.

Difficulty: Click the creeper icon to toggle the difficulty without having to go into game preferences.

Health/hunger: Click the heart icon to set health and hunger to max.

Save states (single-player only): Several slots are available for you to save your entire inventory and restore it later. (The "x" button next to a saved state will remove it.) This can be used to save your "real" inventory before editing, save a blank inventory to clear out everything you're holding, save a full inventory of materials, share inventories between characters, etc.

Multiplayer: You need to be a server op. Also, every non-vanilla server works a little differently. The command issued to the server to give you items is configured in TooManyItems.txt as "give-command". In this command, you should put {0} for the player's username, {1} for the item ID, {2} for the quantity, and {3} for the damage value. If {3} isn't in the command, items with damage values other than 0 won't show up.

    Vanilla server command: /give {0} {1} {2} {3}

    * Since the vanilla server used to not support item damage with the give command, TMI may still have /give {0} {1} {2} by default. You can now add {3} to the end. The default will be updated in a future TMI version.

    Bukkit with the Essentials mod command: /item {1}:{3} {2}

Fast crafting: Right-click on the output square when crafting to craft the maximum possible amount. (Works while the inventory overlay is disabled).

    Troubleshooting

Crashes show an error report on a purple and white screen, and you can copy and paste the report into a post. With the latest version of TMI, most errors that would have crashed should instead show a chat message that says a report has been saved to a file in your minecraft folder, and you can copy and paste from that file into a post.

Black screens are caused primarily by: not deleting META-INF from your minecraft.jar, mod conflicts, wrong versions of mods, and improperly installing mods. Please check these things and, if necessary, start fresh from a new minecraft.jar as an old installation problem may still be causing errors.

"TMI doesn't show up": Press the "o" key in your inventory screen to turn TMI on and off. (Unless you have already changed this in your config file.) Your preference about whether TMI should be displayed is separate in single- and multi-player. If this still doesn't work, you probably did not install TMI correctly.

Notes: TMI's code does not run until you open your inventory. Problems creating games are something else. TMI does not change any crafting recipes. You are not forced to use fast crafting: just left click like normal instead of right clicking. Yes, TMI does work in multiplayer, but read the instructions. No, it is not a server mod. Finally, the number of pages of items depends on your Minecraft window size, so, you are not missing items because it doesn't have the same pages as in the screenshot.

Uninstalling: If you manually installed a mod, the only way to uninstall is to either restore your backup copy of minecraft.jar (you did make a backup, right?) or delete minecraft.jar and run the game launcher so it downloads a new minecraft.jar. If you used a mod manager, refer to its instructions.

    MeCray's Application

*- Name: I will share if accepted, so for now you can call me meCray :)

    *- Age: I'm currently 13 years old

    *- IGN: meCray

    *- Timezone: Eastern Time Zone

*- When can you be active? I will be able to be active around 4 EST for 1-2 hours a day on weekdays, and whenever I get time on weekends. Unless otherwise noted, I should be able to be online at least an hour a day.

*- Why do you deserve this position (Why should we pick you over someone else?): I am very dedicated. When I get a job, I do it to the best of my ability. It becomes my goal to help players and make sure that the environment is safe and peaceful. I have loads of past experience operating front-end and back-end, and I believe that I am the right person for the job.

    - Why did you choose us?: Your network seems to have a lot of potential, especially with the nice looking GFX. It made a good first impression, and I believe that I am the right man for the job with my previous experiences and my great hospitality. A network like yours can use great staff for a great impression.

    - Past Server Experience: I have previously owned my own BungeeCord network. That means that I have experience with a lot of plugins. and therefore I can provide assistance. I am familiar with most commands, and I am a relatively fast typer. I have worked on other servers, from being something simple such as a Helper, to something major such as a CoOwner.

    - Plugin knowledge (1-10): I would rate myself a 7, as I am aware of many mainstream plugins and their configuration. These include essentials, PEX, NPCs, ETC.

    - Extra Information: I can provide assistance in the creation of the website, as I am familiar with Wordpress, Enjin, and Buycraft. I also have a model that I have used for the punishment of players. I will share it with you guys if I am accepted, and hopefully it can be implemented into your server.

Thank You for considering me as your next staff member.
