When ever I am in a deep dark cave I can cracks of light between the blocks. When in a mountain I hollowed out its like thousands of little sparkles as my perspective lines up with the crack of the blocks. I have tried going into Nvidia graphics options and turned off FXAA and all anti aliasing and it doesn't do anything. I also messed around with all the resource packs and all the minecraft graphics options and it doesn't help. The pictures were taken with glsl zues shader pack on to make the cracks more visible but the cracks of light are still there when I switch over to an unmodded jar.

I tried the v10.1 build on your facebook page all problems I had with the previous builds went away. I really like the new build and can't wait for volumetric clouds. The only issues now are that the cloud shadows are really strange but I'll just turn them off in the mean time. Keep up the good work.
I'm having a few issues with the shader mod. I've used the 1.7.2, 1.6.4 and 1.6.2 versions of this mod and the corresponding forge versions and shader packs. All Sues shaders packs just leave my screen completely white. This isn't so much an issue because I prefer the Chocapic Shader pack. When using that shader pack or any others the main problem I would like to fix is the water. The water was a problem with every Shader pack I used. The waves in the water aren't in sync with waves in other chunks.
My System Specs are
i7 4770k
16gbs corsair vengance ram
Geforce GTX 780ti
I think the name of this texture pack couldn't be more appropriate. I was surely amazed after seeing the youtube video. I've always thought the sky and the clouds needed work and where missing something and you gave me what I wanted. This pack with the horizon clouds really reminded me of Wind Waker. I have a question though on the video. Is there a reason the horizon and clouds in general go away at night? I think they would do as well at night. Also I think if added some type of bump mapping to the clouds, or just changed how the clouds look depending on the time of day it would make the sky look so much better especially as the sun is setting. Also depending on the moon cycle the horizon clouds would be brighter. Full moon = Bright night clouds vs half moon = darker clouds. I understand you have a lot on your plate due to resource packs and because this is still in development, I just want to know what you think.
Apparently I've been getting a couple of people joining my server from this forum page. May I ask that you check the IP Address you give out to people to avoid confusion. I had two people join my server and grief it, but it's all good because of a roll back I was able to do. Their names are "nomnom453" and "DatSnazzyDawg" so I cation you when accepting people that go by with those names.
May I make a suggestion? If you make a junction file of .minecraft to a flash drive and put all your minecraft files inside of that flash drive than your worlds will at least double in chunk loading speed. My FPS has also increased quite a lot. I saw people using ram as Storage space and running minecraft off of that using Ramdisk but it is too unstable for me, so I used my flash drive instead and it works out really well. If you are someone who already has a SSD then you need not worry about this.
Them be some darn good ideas, I'm loving the leafy hiding place idea!
I was also thinking that leaves when they fall would spread around the tree randomly with a higher chance of falling closer toward the tree. Instead of instantly forming a full block of leaves it would space it would gradually getting bigger in layers until it formed an entire block of leaves, and as more leaves fall it would repeat the cycle on that leaf block and grow in height even though it would probably never get as high as one block unless it's a big tree. And maybe instead of the snow instantly replacing it when it fell on the leaf block, it would simply cover up the next layer that was going to be covered. By now all the leaves should have fallen to prevent a sammich effect of snow then leaves again. That or if leaves are still falling from the tree than it should be added into the high of which over spot it was calculated to go and push up the snow one layer. As winter goes on the leaves covered by snow would slowly disappear layer by layer until every layer was gone. When I say layers I think of 1/16ths. I'm not sure but I think that is how many layers of snow it takes to make a snow block. Assuming that, leaf blocks should do the same. (to prevent the loss of creations made from leave blocks their positions would be logged and grow back in the spring gradually. That or player placed blocks of leaves would never go away. Maybe an option in a config file for the player to chose. Also I'm not a programmer but I can't be sure that minecraft doesn't log player placed blocks vs naturally generated blocks before the mod is installed so the player might be forced to chose the first option I described making it the probably default value. Option two would be better suited for worlds you have generated with the mod already installed.)
As for the leaves falling from the trees, gradually the outer most leaf block on the tree would go first. This could be determined by if the leaf block has air/empty blocks adjacent to them instead of the leaves on the trees disappearing all at once.. Depending on how many sides are exposed to air/empty blocks would determine how fast they would disappear. Also the amount of leaves from trees disappearing would directly correlate to how many leaves would be on the ground. For every block, 16 layers would fall on the ground in the places calculated for them, assuming if I was correct about how many layers it takes to make a full block.
Again I'm sorry, I'm not the one making this mod, these are just my ideas and I really don't want to impose on him with all them for I'm sure what he does it extremely difficult. I just wish to build a list of things he would be able to consider. If I knew java script I would be more than happy to help them with this mod, the entire idea of this mod is just so grand! It's like if Minecraft was a puzzle this would be it's missing piece to complete it in my opinion.
I've seen some people talking about how grass turning into an orange-ish brown color looks bad. I was wondering if you ever considered turning tall grass into leave piles and keeping grass green all year around. In reality grass doesn't change color in fall, but I understand the changing of the color was to give the effect of fallen leaves on the ground. That or maybe you could implement a new fallen leaves block that would appear under trees within a reasonable distance of the tree just as the leaves deteriorate off the tree for the winter. Then in winter the leaves block would be replaced by snow.
I've also seen comments about this mod not being interactive. I was wondering if you would consider the idea of adding some type of crafting along with this mod. Maybe collecting snow to make a regular snow block and then crafting another smaller snow block as a base, And so on to form a snow man(that or making a snow ball that you have to push around to make it bigger to add to the experience . Because 1.4 has carrots now we could make a nose for the snow man and using flint to make the mouth and eyes.
With the leaves, maybe we could gather them with a shovel and pile them up to made hiding places where hostile mobs cant see us, or put them in leather bags made from cows that we could decorate some how. That or maybe we could use the leaves to decorate the side of walls like vines.
Maybe for spring we could have more flowers variations?
In winter I don't think it should snow constantly, I like to go out in the snow and have fun sometimes. I think as for other crafting ideas for snow, it would be a cool idea to be able to craft snow bricks that would resemble regular bricks but made from snow. They would be harder to break than regular snow blocks, and be crafted in a similar way sand stone is made, while also having cool designs similar to sand stone blocks.
This is all I can think of right now. Sorry I ploded on you with all these ideas. Fill free to ignore them. xD
Do they have an entire rendered image of "you are minecraft?" If so I would like to view it to really get an understanding of how big the map really is... and so I can play where's waldo with my skin.

1
Fill free to ignore them. xD
