posted a message on [MP Server] Insane Mob Spawnrate and Extremely annoying light bugs

I told you we tested it without plugins, I dont want to be rude, but with your 6941 posts I would expect you to alteast read my issue.. And also the spawn rate is getting fixed in 1.14.3 so that's my proof that it was a problem with minecraft and not our server or a plugin.

But the first bug doesn't involve any commands... Yes /butcher is not a vanilla command, but we only use it to get rid of those mobs, but they still spawn on their own

posted a message on [MP Server] Insane Mob Spawnrate and Extremely annoying light bugs

Hello, we have been having problems with our server since we transferred to 1.14 and a lots of them got fixed in 1.14.1 and then 1.14.2 , but there are still some left, and I know there is 1.14.3 planned, but I'm scared that these two bugs wont get fixed, becase I haven't seen them addressed anywhere..

First: Insane Spawnrate of hostile mobs.. With 30 people on the server, I can use the command /butcher and kill up to 6000 HOSTILE mobs even during daylight.. Our max. for butcher command on 1.13.2 was around 700.. I found around 150 Pillagers at ONE tower and about 100 Guardians around the Ocean monument (just outside, not inside). And the mobs respawn really quick, like I do /butcher, kill all of them and in a few seconds, I can kill 500 of them again. This happens only to hostile mobs and not animals. We have no plugins interfering with mob spawning, difficulty is set to normal and we tried debugging on our test server and the spawn rates are still the same even after basically taking out all the plugins.

Second: We have some really annoying light bugs.. These happened kinda in 1.13.2 aswell, but not on such a big scale. When we do anything with WorldEdit.. Create a room with //outline and seal it off completely.. the light stays inside.. We have to change every block manually to update the light and get it out.. Same thing happens the other way around.. I //set 0 a huge chunk of land and it all stays dark. We have to update every block manually to get the light to finally kick in. One player wanted us to help him take down a huge mountain, so we did, but once it dissapeared in it's exact location remained a huge cloud of darkness. Monsters spawned there in daylight and there was no way to fix it, other than manually updating every block.

Thanks in advance for any kind of responses

posted a message on Villagers won't pickup jobs on our server.

Hello, so we recently moved to 1.14 (BungeeCord) and well one of the problems we can't find the solution to is the fact that villagers simply won't pickup jobs. We tried many villages, we tried to spawn a villager and just give him job by using the blocks and bed. Server was restarted many times since we tried and even completely turned off. With the change to the new version we obviously also got a new map so all the villages and villagers are the ones with new designs. And the villagers are overall pretty weird, because I tought they are supposed to sleep during nights, but they don't do that on the server. I dont know what else are they supposed to do, but they don't do anything that wasn't in 1.13.1.. Raids are working almost fine, except that when a raid happens to one player, it informs everyone on the server and some people are pretty confused, but that's not as important as this.

Most of our plugins are made by us (to be more precise our developer) and he's sure none of his plugins are doing it. The only plugins that we are using that are not ours are: CoreProtect, OnlineTime, WorldEdit (simple worldedit, no ASync or FAWE), Citizens, CommandNPC, DeluxeMenus (currently not working, but still up on the server), LagMeter, MultiVerse, MyPet, Openinv, placeholder api, SkinsRestorer

Thanks in advance for any kind of help, feel free to ask for some more information, but my knowledge is limited as I'm not the owner nor the developer of the server.
