posted a message on What do you guys think of the game "ROBLOX"?
I've been a member of that place since 2008-ish and while the game is constantly improving, the community gets gradually worse.
However, it's a great world building tool and a way to learn to script in Lua, so there's that.

It's definitely a nice game, but you need a lot of patience with the people walking around and some of the dev's decisions.

Although, it used to be far worse in terms of membership restrictions, so it at least got a little better. Oh, and the new lighting system's awesome.

Heh, I've been gone for two years or so. Small incident involving a particle accellerator and rubber bands.
But I'm back: This forum's greatest/maddest/most huggable mad scientist!

Well, briefly. I get a bit rubbery and floppy every now and then and just have to lie down for a moment.

Is is possible to remove individual blocks from a chunk?
I have the feeling they are stored in a hexadecimal format but I have no idea how to work with that.

Sorry, but thats impossible with current implementation of frames.

There's this guy that made a tunnel digging device with a drill head that moves up and down, then stops and goes forward. I didn't actually mean simultaneously, but rather in order, in such a away they actually move each other. No idea how it's done :(

Need a little bit of help with those frames.

I need a way to have a device with frames that moves up and down while moving forward, all at the same time. I've tried attaching the up/down part to the forward part with covers but it could only move up and down and not forward.

I've also tried not connecting it at all, but then when it went forward it'd move just the forward part and the up/down machinery would stay in place, completely ruining the device.

Any help? (Bonus points for video/detailed images!)

tl;dr Need a device that moves multiple directions at once and the things that make it do this should stay in place, not move around when the other device moves forward.

Sure, use an "IO Expander", this connects the CPU to bundled cable.

Nothing avail out-of-the-box ... you'll have to write this on your own, namely polling current I/O state and react as needed.

Pity I'm not that good at programming..

Also, semi-related question: Is it possible to link multiple monitors to a single CPU block? (And use them as keyboard simultaneously)

Say, is there a way to connect redstone inputs to a CPU?
Like, if I press a button on a wall that feeds into a white cable that's connected to the CPU, it triggers a command (or multiple commands).

posted a message on Looking for a certain map / someone that can make it
Essentially I need a somewhat large map, dimensions have to be 1000x256x1000.
It has to be filled completely with stone (Yes, to layer 256) and have a massive box-shaped cavern in the middle of about 800x230x800.

That's pretty much all I need.
It would be greatly appreciated if someone could make this for me.

Has anybody found a map editor that supports the new Anvil height limit, 256?
    It doesn't matter whether it's top-down 2D, 3D or even commandline, I just need something that can generate/create a 1024x1024x256 block of stone in a map :/

Secondly, I've noted that the occasional chunk will flicker, invisible one moment, visible the next - very strange.

I have this as well and it's getting rather annoying :(

I already didn't like the forums very much, now it's got even worse. I fully agree with you there. They must've thought 'Hey, we know you like forum layouts so we put a forum layour in your forum layout to double the size and burn your eyes out with invisible laser beams. ****ing puhelimet. (I dunno, sounds funny.)

posted a message on What are your oppinions on the most recent forum change?
It's too large, I need to zoom out a bit every time I visit this place otherwise my eyes will start to hurt.
Also, the upper bar is too laggy in my browser, so sometimes it completely craps it's css code and bugs the whole damn thing.
A revert button would be nice.

The other thing, much more annoying, is:
I just got used to the forum layout and it's functions.
This happens all the damn time. Whenever I get to know some nice functions and know where my towel on this forum is, it is changed. Happened too many times, already. Now I'm lost again and I feel like a 2-dimensional being lost in a 3-dimensional maze.

Also, the layout looks like it was made for someone who has glasses about as thick as a wall.
And when I use Ctrl+scroll back this website looks less crap and all other websites look too damn small.
    Optional buttons for reverting, please?
