I would find a Fortress and get some blaze rods. If you have allot of time you can build a blaze grinder.

Everyone sets limitations and 'rules' for themself. For me i use XP farms and mob grinders.

I dont use any mods, hacks, textures, fly, etc etc.

Get wool from sheep. With the newer updates its much easier.

Since (i beleive 1.0) sheep can be bread so you can have a pen with tons of them. Als they eat grass and regenerate wool.

Lure them to you with wheat to start off.

Heres my Sheep farm.
