Great seed, I however did find a tree:

I believe this tree is found just South East of the spawn point... Don't quote me on that as I flew around for a bit before finding the tree but I'll go ahead and check and update this.
edit: yup, the tree is found to the east and a bit to the south. It's quite a swim from the spawn point (Half of he map swim to the tree)

Oct 19, 2012Tomorrow when I get on, I'll post a picture of how it looks from the second floor, to where I plan to build a city, only downside is that there is a perfectly good ravine in that general area.Posted in: MCX360: Show Your Creation

Not bad. I'm also in the same boat as you. I'm broke and my Live ran out yesterday. So I'm minecrafting it up in the meantime. Lets face it, these are tough times and not all of us can afford to drop $25 on entertainment every 3 months, not with bills, a mortgage, and mouths to feed!
When you're and adult you sometimes have to make sacrifices to survive. For me Xbox Live was one of those temporary sacrifices!
It seems we share the exact same boat. Hopefully with my next paycheck, I can get my Xbox Live back. Until then, I am going to play Minecraft with the gf and her little sister.
Oct 18, 2012Yeah, I hated it too, but I'm limited on how much I can spend at the moment, have to pay the bills and what-not.Posted in: MCX360: Show Your Creation
Oh also, I didn't notice it was in there till I was actually filling in the walls. and most other designs I tried, made the house look weird to me. So I just stuck it out. Plus it's suppose to be a haunted house so, it's better if it looks a bit evil.
Oct 18, 2012After losing my Xbox Live Gold Membership, and not being able to play Borderlands 2 with my friends, I decided it was time to go back into the Minecraft world. I found a nice stone pillar, and thought, "I want to make a haunted house on top of that thing."Posted in: MCX360: Show Your Creation
So here it is
The house on top of the stone Pillar I found.
The Kitchen I made - now with Cake!
Secret entrance to bedroom
I'm not really sure what I should build on the outside of the house, it's in the middle of a river, behind the house there's a mountain, and in the front there is a forest/swamp looking thing.
ended up making a bridge that leads to the bottom of the stone pillar in my home.
I don't know if I should put a small village on that top area or what. But I do know that there is a ravine under the bridge.

I was traveling through a dense forest on my quest to stop the evil Mr. PorkChop and his evil minions of Karate Pigs, but my health was low and the sun was setting fast. Equipped with only my trusted Oak Bow, Rusted (stone) Sword and used up Spade - I knew I wasn't going to survive the night. As the moon started to rise, I knew I needed to look for a refuge, to my luck, I found a lit cave.
"Had I been in that cave before?" I thought to myself. "No, it's not possible, I never leave any torches behind..." **(Zombie Sound)** Screaming, I swung my sword as I turned to face my certain demise. Yet, there was nothing to be seen behind me. I crept backwards slowly making my way to the lit cave. I faced the inside of the cave to see what was causing the warm glow. A pool of Lava, was causing the cave to be lit. I made my way to it, past gravel, stone, and dirt. **(Zombie Sound)** Stepping closer to the pool of lava, I turned to look around, nothing more than an ever growing cave system.
**(Skeleton Bone Sound)** "Oh please no, anything but that...". Out of the cave system came a Skeleton. "NO!" I yelled as I made my way out of the cave. Flying arrows shooting right past me, **Arrow Sound Stuck To A Wall**,I knew I wasn't going to make it outside in one piece, So I pulled out my spade and jumped onto the Gravel **Another arrow**. Rapidly, I tried to break off the gravel **Skeleton Getting Closer** Success! the gravel broke away, but at the same time failure. The gravel I stood upon started to fall, taking me with it. I fell into the dark abyss that most call "Bed Rock".
Aug 29, 2012Stone tools + friends that can help you out.Posted in: MCX360: Discussion
You can connect your Ipod to your xbox and play music, if the music is in ACC format.
other than that, I would save all other types of tools for more important things.
Jul 26, 2012When Minecraft first came to Xbox, I didn't notice the time fly by, neither did my friends. We would spend hours and I mean HOURS. Just digging in caves to find diamonds and building materials. By the time we noticed how much time had gone by we had noticed the day was almost over. We spent about 10 hours just digging and building our houses.Posted in: MCX360: Discussion

You could recreate the resort from Dead Island. Go look it up if you've never played the game before.
The resort is huge, and you can alter it so it doesn't look like a rip off. You should do it if there's still space for one.
I am actually thinking of going back to that game now just for the last 3 achievements I have for it. (By which I mean the base game only)
Also, I like your name, it was a good movie.

Well I think anyone can build a cross in minecraft. Time consumption does not equal creativity. Just because they spent forever on something doesn't automatically equal an epic win. It just might be an epic waste of time.
And that's true, but these kids are what? 14-16 years old some even younger. That seem to use the word so loosely, they literally have no understand of the word.
I have to admit when I was that young I found many things "epic" only because I grew up in a poor house. Getting my first GB Color was an epic moment to me. But now that I look back on those times I notice that things weren't so great and have redefined my meaning for the word it self. Basically were I'm getting at, is that people have different meanings for the word, and not everyone will be able to meet your expectations.
So just chill, and let them do what they do. Who cares if they dupe or create such dull creations. It's only on the person who finds it annoying.
But I do understand your feelings, seeing as how I hate when people do mediocre work and get praised while others do back straining work and get little to no acknowledgement.

Well then you obviously don't get it do you? People building guady structures just for size shock isn't being creative.
Oh don't get me wrong I completely agree with you. But come on, honestly you were bashing on peoples creativity when you said that.
Some are more creative than others. Like me for example, I can't just draw a person and NOT give them any details (color, highlights, emotions). When I see something dull it makes me wonder what they were aiming for. But then I have to remind myself "not everyone is as talented as you when it comes to creativity."
So if they make something let them feel proud about it. It's not harming you in anyway nor does it take away from your creativity in anyway. Know what I mean?
