posted a message on StormCraft [1.7.4] [24/7] [100% Vanilla] [16+] [Whitelisted] [Mindcrack based] StormCraft
Part 1 Getting to know you

    IGN: DirtTNT
    Age: 16
    Gender: Male
Skype Username: I use Microsoft account, so the user name is live:guidanoli
Do you have a mic: Sure do, it's a Tritton 720+
Would you record: Maybe 2 times a week
If so, youtube channel: Click me!
Picture of one of your builds: Footage of my Villager Market in my previous server (also left for inactivity of the members :L)
Timezone: Brazil, Rio de Janeiro (GMT -3:00)
Favorite Building Block: Hard to decide, maybe QUARTZ BLOCKS or HARDENED CLAY?
Favorite Biome to Build in: I'm very flexible, I would really like to build in ice spikes or mesa. But usually it doesn't matter. In my previous server I played in middle of the OCEAN and made a floating island.
Strengths: Redstone, Technical Minecraft, Mining and Farming
    Weaknesses: Building and PVP
When did you start playing Minecraft: Since 1.0.0 I believe

Part 2: Learning You Minecraft Skills

On a scale from 1-10 Rate yourself and an explanation why. I noticed this question in the end so, making the average is 8, but in my opinion I'm an 9/10. I really like Minecraft in technical terms because you can make a huge machine work and make tons of items or a simple 7x9x3 bacon farm and have food forever. That makes me a really stable player.

    Building: 6.5/10
    Fighting Mobs: 8.25/10
    Fighting People: 6.75/10
    Farming: 9.6/10
    Redstone: 9.8/10

    Part 3: Advanced Questions:
Expected to have 3+ line answers for most questions.

Who is your Favorite Minecraft Youtuber, why: I can't decide between Etho, Sethbling or aypierre. But all of those are really technical Minecraft players and they like to do those kind of farms and nice functional bases. Also I'm not that type of anti-social nerd who plays LOL (no offense though) and eats pizza everyday, but the opposite, I really like to talk with people who play Minecraft, I'm more of a friendly player than a try-hard player.
Favorite part of Minecraft: If I had to choose one of the many wonderful parts of Minecraft, I'd choose the code, because I really like how "physics" work in Minecraft, where everything is possible. I like redstone and logical gates that make computers and mini games, even tough we're playing on a survival server, I really enjoy command blocks, in fact I'm a map maker. Please check out my first map released - (I made the trailer too).
What makes you better than the average Minecrafter: Because I know lots of tips and tricks in Minecraft that not everyone does (not trying to be the best, but oh well), for example, the fast crafting from Hunger Games, the parkour that could be useful in PvP, PvP tricks like the 'lower ground' and technical data like the F3 + H Command that makes it possible to see durability. Basically I have a lot more experience than 80% of Minecraft Players.
Tell me about yourself: I'm a 16 years old student in Rio de Janeiro (yeah, World Cup and all...). I'm in the 3rd best college in Brazil, a B student I suppose. I'm looking forward to being a computer engineer and make games or stuff related to computers. I play in my free times Minecraft and watch YouTube videos, fun fact: I play the guitar...
Why are you applying: Because I've been searching for a serious but not so serious friendly white-listed vanilla Mindcrack-like server like this one. And this one seems like the one I've been scavenging for a long time. This server has a hard filter for members appliance and looks very professional and all. You also look like an experienced player who also played in many servers. Cough cough... GOAT. Oops I'm sorry. And that's why I really like the looks of this server and want to join!
How much do you see yourself playing: Well this looks like a hard question to make 3+ lines answer. So, I usually play 3-5 hours in normal days and now that I'm on vacations I usually play 5+ hours, but it depends on days of course. For example, yesterday I went to Russia x Belgium game and didn't have time to play.
Why are you the best option for the server: I don't think I'm the best player in the world or the server because I haven't even read the other apps. I am a 9/10 player because I am very addicted to Minecraft right now and I am very experienced in this game. I am like the 1000 in 1 player if you can tell :L
Oh no! Someone pranked you. What would you do: First I'd see who did this, and then analyse the prank if it is large. If not, I'd make a blind view of the prank on camera and post on YouTube to share this to my subscribers. Then, maybe 2 weeks or so I'd make a comeback prank on him/her. And if he/she has a channel I'd wait the reaction video and then post a video of me making it! hahaha
Do you know how to work a nether hub: Yes, really basic stuff. Over world is 8 times bigger than the Nether. y coordinate doesn't matter. Make a portal away from gold farms or other portals and for preferences make it in the same direction entrance/exit. I won't make a 2 x 1 hole in netherrack/cobblestone because that's ugly. I really like making an unique Nether tunnel.
Any Additional Info About You or Your Minecraft Skills: No, I think I've said all above this text hahaha. Hope you invite me to the server. And thanks for being awesome and making this awesome server. See you soon!

    IGN: DirtTNT
    AGE: 14 (I'll be 15 in may)
GENDER (Just so we know, nothing against anyone.): Muy macho (male)
    COUNTRY/TIMEZONE: Brazil (-3 GTM)
    SKYPE: live:guidanoli
HOW LONG WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO PLAY: It REALLY depends on the day. Sometimes I play 4 hours straight, other days 30 minutes. My record is 10 hours on vacations.
WHY DOES THIS SERVER SPARK YOUR INTEREST: I've always liked private servers with friendly community and all that cozy stuff, I don't like the crowd, like public servers. I hate Hamachi or Cracked servers, they just don't fell right to me.
Also, I love 100% vanilla, we would we need plugins? Minecraft is perfect as it really is. I have played in 2 servers that were just like that, played them for 1 year. If you want to see my work, check out the Reddit post I made for my base on the last server I played on.
WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT THAN ANYONE ELSE?: In my old servers, I was the best redstoner. And I really am that good, I enjoy making those weird and complicated contraptions, I work with coding (C++) so that's my job, you know??
ANY IDEA WHAT YOU WOULD WANT TO START WITH IF ACCEPTED?: I'd start mining, make a shelter, then a basic iron farm. Make an automatic pumpkim (jack o' laterns) and cow farm (steak), then I'd make a nicer house in a nice biome. Not really far from there I'd make a villager breeding cell and a market, so for that I'm making a sugarcane farm to trade with librarians. Tree farm would be awesome too.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR BEST MINECRAFT SKILL IS? Farms, mining and REDSTONE.
    Youtube?: /PopellerHat
Tell me something about yourself: I love making efficient stuff. But in this server I'm trying to make more pretty and same rate of efficiency.
Any pictures to show your builds?: Reddit post

posted a message on [14W05B] Flappy Chicken [original] - NO MODS required
    Flappy Chicken
The game of devil - now in Minecraft

You all know Flappy Bird, the worst game ever made in humanity. I recreated it in the new snapshot 14w05b. I forgot how to description. Have fun.

This is the main title that appears on the top of the screen

This is the main room. Where are the 'start' button, a pressure plate that gives you more feathers to use and some rules and instructions on the wall.

This is all the redstone I used. Could be compacted, but I really don't have time for that.

This is the screen that shows the chicken and the tubes rolling across the scene.

or get direct link (boo! boring...)

I hope you have a wonderful time with Flappy Chicken. More information in the map.

posted a message on [Map maker friendly] DirtTNT's useful text collection [Potions ID's] [Enchantment ID's] [Nice Player Heads IGNs] [DataTag syntax
As a map maker, I find it find it really difficult to memorize all the Identification Codes and the names of the player heads while making my projects. So I always have a text document (.txt) to save my life in those moments. So I think I'd like to share to all of you guys my map making tools: DirtTNT's Text Collection.

Because I have tons of those files, I am going to divide those by categories so you don't have to download loads of Kb you don't want.

    ID's and difficult names:

Radius 0 (used for locating a player in a certain block, different from r=1, which makes a cross around the block, this only one block radius) [HERE]

Potion Effects (Numbers used for dataTags and the command ./effect to identify the certain effect you want to give the player or the mob) [HERE]

Playsound IDs (the new command added in 1.6 enables you to play in-game sounds without spawning a mob or an entity, use: ./playsound "ID" @a) [HERE]

Player Heads (if you place a player head with the IGN of the player it will show the image of their head texture, so this is a list of In Game Names that can be used for maps, together, the blocks they represent) [HERE] and [HERE]

ID's for Minecraft (In the new snapshot the Ids for blocks and items have been simplified to a simple name that amounts to that number) [HERE]

Enchantment ID's (In a previous snapshot released items could be given with names, enchantments and lore. So the enchantment ID's are important too know too!) [HERE]

Commands (You can easily type in chat "/help" and see all the commands, but I have simplified that even more, with all the syntax and prefixes) [HERE]

Attributes (Change a mob's speed, attack or health can be done with potions of course, but much more easily modified by adding attributes to their NBT data) [HERE]

    Syntax for commands and DataTags:

Leather Armor Color (Give any player a colorful red and blue shirt and some green shoes, using this syntax via give command) [HERE]

Custom Villagers (Change a farmer's trade, his profession, his drops and other data with this type of syntax via summon command) [HERE]

Dropped Items (How to spawn a dropped item? With custom count, damage and ID... I don't know why would you use that, but there it is) [HERE]

Humanoid mobs (Mobs such zombie, skeletons, bats are considered humanoid mobs and can wear armor, weapons and drop rarely custom items) [HERE]

If you have any suggestion or text you want to add to the collection just drop down in the comments whatever you want. Don't forget to help with this topic = green upvote
