It's really quite funny, and sad at the same time.
Everyone is mad that it's coming to the console, but what you're overlooking are these facts:
A. More money for notch.
B. People who can't run minecraft (The few) on their pc well or not at all, will now be able too
C. Even if you think that it ruins the overall feel of the PC minecraft, think about it. We have mods, forum support, and notch.
So please, look beyond yourself. :biggrin.gif:

Oh man...I almost cared about what you had to say.
Almost.

Oh yeah, because I should have to use google to search the minecraft forums.
lol
Again, i'm probably gonna move this to the mod request thread.

I don't see what it would hurt to have your wolf get stronger over time though.
And different colored wolves are what I'm talking about

What was the point of adding in wolves then?
To give the player a pet?
If it's just a game, in the tone you're claiming it, why were pets added?

You could adjust the time it takes for them to be full grown, if you're a good modder.
Perhaps maybe this is a better idea for a mod, rather than a feature in the actual game.

It would just be automatically done. That would be too graphic for the kids on here.

Obviously they wouldn't be breeding walking around...
You'd need to put them alone or something away from other animals.

And please don't say "LOLSEARCHBUTTON" because it doesn't work.
I'm well aware this is the first day of the update being released, but I doubt notch is going to do anything else with the wolves other than tweak the bugs they have.
Anyways, the title basically says. Being able to have different colors of wolves.
As you play the game, your wolves get bigger. Not giant, but a bit bigger. They don't die from age, they just get bigger.
Feel free to add on to it, or flame me. Your choice.

Kinda jank but it works.

You could just delete your minecraft.jar and re launch minecraft, and hit dont update.
If you have mods make sure to back the minecraft.jar up.
