Again, i'm probably gonna move this to the mod request thread.

I get the fact that it's a game, and it's not going to be realistic, obviously. I don't expect it to be.

I don't see what it would hurt to have your wolf get stronger over time though.

What was the point of adding in wolves then?
To give the player a pet?
If it's just a game, in the tone you're claiming it, why were pets added?

Because pets obviously live forever :\

You could adjust the time it takes for them to be full grown, if you're a good modder.

Perhaps maybe this is a better idea for a mod, rather than a feature in the actual game.

I never suggested making an animation for it LOL

It would just be automatically done. That would be too graphic for the kids on here.

I like the idea, it gives you something to do when you're bored with your pets :tongue.gif:.

Yeah, i was a little hesitant about the EXP part aswell. I just wasn't sure how people would react to it getting strong by itself.

Obviously they wouldn't be breeding walking around...

You'd need to put them alone or something away from other animals.

This may have already been suggested, but I went through like 5 pages and didn't see anything suggesting breeding.
And please don't say "LOLSEARCHBUTTON" because it doesn't work.
I'm well aware this is the first day of the update being released, but I doubt notch is going to do anything else with the wolves other than tweak the bugs they have.

Anyways, the title basically says. Being able to have different colors of wolves.


As you play the game, your wolves get bigger. Not giant, but a bit bigger. They don't die from age, they just get bigger.

Feel free to add on to it, or flame me. Your choice.

You can get a wolf through by making em sit and just pushing them :\

I did delete the whole thing and then re-downloaded it. It didn't give me the option to update this time, and is still giving me the same "Server Outdated" message.

I guess I'm forced into taking a Minecraft holiday. :sad.gif:

The only problem i've had really is due to other mods, like in my video, I click my chest (which had something from a mod in it.) and it crashes. Other then that, wolves are just sometimes hard to find. They DO spawn though.
