I made a post like less than a month ago, and someone posted to post it when your a couple of days of buying the parts. So thats now. Somethings before I say i post my parts I plan on buying. I will be buying a better psu on blackfriday, and in the meantime I'll be using my crapmaster psu. I also have a ssd, hard drive, and disc drive that will be using in my new build that I already have. For my video card, I will be using a 630 that i have until I get a 7850. For os, luckily my dad has a copy of oem windows 7 that he allowed me to have, he gets them from his work. I think thats about it... So heres my parts that I plan on buying. If you have any adjustments, feel free to post them.
In that case, the stock fan configuration of any case should easliy suffice. Extra fans and airflow are generally worth considering if you are overclocking, but otherwise it's perfectly fine in most areas (unless you live somewhere extremely warm).
I don't think you really need to upgrade the RAM to be honest, unless you are actively running out of it.
True, but its pretty slow ram, clocked at 1066mhz. I use around 2.66gb at idle.
Nothing I have against the whole state, but I live in the middle of fricking nowhere so it's boring.
Not going to post anything positive because then people would think I'm not a total pessimist.
Likes:
1. Tons of mountains and beautiful sights. A YouTuber from Toronto once mentioned that Vancouver was a huge change from the flat landscape of Ontario.
2. Near the ocean, so temperatures rarely ever get extreme. I don't think it's ever been below -5 C, or above 33 C.
3. Near the border, so we have easy access to American shopping
4. This applies to Canada as a whole, but very multi-cultural. You'll see people, places and things from all over the world.
5. People are generally friendly, aside from the odd racist hobo in the poorer parts of town
6. Downtown Vancouver is huge, beautiful and has Stanley Park next to it
Dislikes
1. Sports teams aren't very good. Our hockey team (Vancouver Canucks) sucks monkey balls, and has 0 Stanley Cups in its' 43-year existence. 2nd oldest team to not have a championship, next to the 46-year-old St. Louis Blues. The Whitecaps have existed for a few years, but got knocked out early last year and didn't qualify this season. And no one gives two damns about the BC Lions, or the CFL.
2. Lots of potheads. Not bringing down marijuana to those who smoke, but the ones around here seem to LOVE showing off their habit, shoving it down your throat and revolving their life around weed.
3. Wacky ass weather. A typical week in September has heavy rainfall on one day, sunny the next, a thunderstorm, and then sunny again.
4. Living in the big cities is incredibly expensive. High land value, especially in Downtown Vancouver.
The disadvantages don't bother me too much, though. I love living here
I've been wanting to got to BC for almost a year now, this made me want to go even more :3
Just wondering, but what are your other system specs? Are you planning on overclocking?
[size=medium]
Cheap? The two you mentioned cost $10-15 per unit.
Fx 6300, dont plan on to oc this cpu at the moment.
Asus m5a97 LE R2.0 I can live without usb 3 on the case
Zalman z12

For stoarge I have a 500gb WD Blue Hard drive that I am already using and a 120gb Kingston Hyperx 120gb ssd, which I am already using to

Forgot to mention about gpu. I have a 630, which is fine on what I want to do. I hope to get a 7850 around January.
I am getting the source 210 window for my build which I am building in less than 2 weeks, and I'm extremely anxious about it I have some extra money, and since the source 210 only has 1 fan, I decided to buy some fans. All of them seemed to be fancy and out of budget, untill I came across these. I juse wanted to know how well they work. They will be my both 2 intake, and 2 top out take. Heres the link http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Bearing-Computer-Radiators/dp/B00314J422/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t
I think its pretty good deal for 4 fans for $11. Since they all come with 3 pin, I will be getting a connector. Will this work? http://www.amazon.com/Zalman-ZM-MC1-Multi-connector-Add-Fan/dp/B000FAKUE6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1384222615&sr=1-1&keywords=3+pin+to+4+pin+fan+adapter
Also, since I want to add some pizzazz to my case, I want to get case led. Anyone have recommendations for either blue/white leds. I have still yet to decide on which to get. Since my motherboard(Asus m5a97) has blue accents on it, I might get blue. Thank you in advance
