Sorry for the late reply, assuming this makes it to any of you. After a lack of posts for a couple months and being busy, I kind of gave up hope on this. But it looks like maybe some people are interested in this, after all.
I'm sure if you've been into flying mode before, that you've noticed there's a certain drift when moving. By this, I mean that if I go into flying mode and move forward, when I release my forward button, my character will slow down and gently come to a stop, as opposed to stopping outright. I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to "correct" this, as its difficult to build with this sometimes. Also, what are your thoughts on this? Does it bother you, are you indifferent or do you support it?

You're thinking of mercenaries. Assassins are anyone who take it upon themselves to assassinate people on a regular basis; motive is irrelevant.
For example, pistons. Those were a great addition without a doubt. Some things, such as the Ender realm, I'm not decided about. It seems like they're trying to add too many cool things to the game, ruining some of the fun, casual and open-ended elements in the process.
My worst story is easily when I created a world and found a nice, massive cave system that lead right down to bedrock with about a million and one different forks. I finally found some diamonds, for the first time since I started playing Minecraft, and started mining. I fell into the lava.
So, I made my way back down to finish harvesting the diamonds and salvage what I could. It wasn't much, but it was something. But then I couldn't find my way out. Obviously, then, the best solution would be to dig straight up! In doing so, I landed myself in a frozen ocean. No land in sight (didn't help that water makes it difficult to see) and ice covering my escape. I had run out of tools, so I had to try breaking the ice with my fist, but being underwater makes it about 20x more difficult to break. Then my finger slipped off the mouse. I ended up drowning, never to recover my diamonds. I was raging for a while after that.

Please make sure that it is under the same username, as I will not accept your application if it is through a different alias, as I cannot verify that it is indeed your own. With this, you shall write the average amount of time that it takes you to create a pack, depending on the detail of it. Finally, you will put down why you believe you should be chosen for this.

I must ask that if you are chosen for this, that you do not publish the created texture pack on the forums, or any forums preferably, and much less what it was created for. If this turns out to be the case, then I most likely will not be able to use the pack. You may publish the pack after my project has been made public, or, if you so desire, I will make the topic for it myself. In either event, or if you decide for it to not have its own thread, the creator of the pack will have his or her name mentioned in the thread, and possibly in the project itself. I will give credit where it is due. Also, feel free to put your name in the menu screen, but please specify that it is the texture pack that you created, and not the map.

If you're chosen for this, you will receive a PM double checking that you want to do the job. If your response states that you will carry on with the project, you will receive another PM with all the block information required. Simple, you will not be notified. This is for the sake of saving my time as well as yours. I have no idea how many submissions I will receive, if any (which hopefully will not be the case). In this event, don't feel bad. In no way is it an indication that you are a bad texture packer. It simply means that you did not live up to the needed requirements as well as I would hope. Its perfectly normal not to meet all of them. Its likely you excel at one of them, or a couple of them, so you're still a good packer.
Thank you to anyone who decides to take this up. I'm not expecting a big result, so I'll say that there may be added bonuses if you are chosen for this project (all of it being within Minecraft, of course). Nothing major, just little optional things that you might or might not like. Whatever is within my power. I'm sorry that I can't be specific on anything, but this is a major project on my end and I will go without rest in order to see that it is completed to my originally desired standard. If any information were to be given out here, it may just ruin my morale in it's creation. Again, thanks in advance to all who decide to take this up.
