I know your probably not going to do this but I deeply need you to port any and all fixes to 1.7.10. There are still issues with 1.7.10 and if you played my server daily you would notice this also. Please set default zubats 2-5 swarm max. I won't request any more. I just wanted this mod to work.
If I recall correctly, you can do that yourself in the config. I just swam in a bunch, and might have thought it were there and it wasn't, but I'm sure I saw something about that.
Edit: just missed Thutmose's comment when I checked the thread. Never mind me. Sidenote: what are the odds?
Thank you SO MUCH! Sorry for being so nosy, I just didn't want to get my hopes up. There was no reason for that, this mod is outstanding! I only farted around at spawn for about ten minutes before the pack I threw together to test this mod crashed (Pretty sure not Pokécubes), but what I saw was amazing, and better than I'd hoped! Also first time I've played on the new 1.8.9 forge, and even with a beefy pack, I was above ten frames, heck it was thirty! In the same pack with Pixelmon: 2. I'm blown away!
As for RFTools, I more meant RFTools Dimensions (I forgot they'd split) rather than RF production/consumption. In the past when I've used a mod like this, it would be a pain to have to accommodate for Pixelmon or Digimon or whatever being everywhere, even your void worlds. I was wondering if you would add a dimlet that could control that for the only dimension mod I knew of for 1.8. Doesn't seem to be as big of a deal though.
So, I saw your /r/feedthebeast post, and was intrigued. I've been running Pixelmon in FTB Infinity (un-evolved) until A) I learned that's illegal because Pixelmon said so and when I learned about their server fiasco (dev team could ban you from any server with Pixelmon installed. Even Mojang commented, that threw me for a loop, since when have they cared about modded?) the other day. I did a bit of re-search, but I still don't know much about this mod, the wikis look pretty barren. So just a couple questions in general, if you don't mind answering them please. Also I know a lot of them could be answered by launching the mod, but ATM that's impossible (hardware difficulties I don't want to fix right now).
1) In-game wiki mod or the Pokédex: Witch is better/more accurate?
2) How can I help with adding Pokémon? Not much love for the already limited Ghost-type I see, which is fine, they're not the most popular, but how can I possibly build my mono-type team else wise?!? I noticed above some mention of modelling software, so there's that, but anything else I'd need/need to know?
3) I noticed on the curse page you don't have turn based combat. I think that's actually a really cool feature, heck it's one I've looked into with a couple buddies when we wanted to make our own fan-game. We didn't have the money to use on the software, so those aspirations died quick. Only feature we planed on having that I'm not sure would be possible by making a pack + map is the four move limit removed/raised. Is that still there? I have no doubts it is, but I can hope!
4) Is spawning configurable per biome? I assume it's biome dependant, but if I add ExtrabiomesXL or BoP, will I not be able to have spawns due to lack of vanilla biomes? If it is biome dependant, I noticed you don't have RFTools compatibility, could you add support for dimensions a-la craftable dimlet? So if it's part of the dimension, it will allow Pokémob spawns, else it will disable them, even with the randomisation?
5) Are there any missing features/items I should concern myself with? I know this mod is still heavily in development from the wikis, so just so I'm not scratching my head over an old bug, what might be hard to overcome?
That's it I think. Thank you for your time if you do answer any of these questions. I really appreciate it.
And that's true, but to play devil's advocate, we don't know how far down the road 1.9.# will be, or even when forge gets released for that version. Could be a year down the road, in which 1.8.9 or 1.7.10 would still be the most popular (modded) version. And for all we know, the guys on forge will be able to minimize the excess work we have to do. Supposedly they've done so for the 1.8 modeling system in 1.8.9. If there are many major roadblocks in 1.9, then forge will likely try and smooth it over. What features are really going to mess with this mod in particular? Loot tables? Duel wielding? Doesn't sound too bad. Actually, a Duel Disk in the off hand would look kinda cool.
Yah go nutz, I still need to learn what needs to be learned, and life is preventing that. No reason why that should hold this progect off any longer. Might throw ideas in the pot now and then, because I've been coming up with them for the last yea, but beyond that Im going to be too distracted to develop more than a story/plotline which even if it were to exist, would need to have some feature progression planned out, which I am pretty sure we don't have. Might be a good idea to just assume we have nothing.
No it isn't. That's the useless Game Output log. There should be at least two more: Launcher log (a whole launcher tab called that, don't know how you missed it) and FML log (a huge file, in the "logs" folder).
Logs are always necessary.
Even if you do that and the normal launcher closes, the FML log file will always be generated.
Thank you! Good to know! Here's the FML log, I think the launcher log didn't generate because of the premature end, because I can't find it. Same tab as the other two?
Dropbox link: Too big for pastebin, and lagged out my browser any other way!
Sorry to say, but it is. I didn't post the logs at first, because I figured it was unnecessary. I can't read crash log, but I was pretty sure it was cut off because I killed it in the task manager. I end up having to end it because "Java SE Binary" is no longer responding. That's when I can't pretend I know what I'm doing any more XP.
Also, thank you two for taking time out of your day to help this fool out. It means a lot.

Please read the whole thread. You will find the conversation exiting at least.

Then again, 1.8.9 wasn't really a thing... Kinda been cropping up a bunch. Heck, the latest Forgecraft is 1.8.9 based. Might be worth re-evaluating?

Life has been happening actually. I've been meaning to bring it up. I'll step down just to stop things from being slowed down any further. Good luck.

Hey, is the inventory filter missing a texture by any chance? Or might I have found a bug?
Only using Practicalities, CohfCore, NEI, and CodeChickenCore.
EDIT: Also missing GUI for the Shipping crate.

This is going to be awesome! Loved Practicalities I, so II is gonna be great! I'll check it out when I get home, but props man!

Thank you! Could you tell which enchantment ID? Also, how did you learn to read these logs, so I don't need to make another post for every crash ever?

Dynamic sword skills adds zelda like sword skills, as well as a target lock.
