Certainly, it doesn't in the end matter but going from crude piston mechanics to all-in-one laptop computers is a bit of a large jump, don't you think?
Laptop computers? We don't even have DESKTOP COMPUTERS. And don't go asking for desktops as well because purposely made computers do not fit within the other blocks well and break the feeling.

Does it matter if we don't have desktop computers yet? No.
minebay is copied from the furniture mod that Dan TDM showcased. Also, this is waaaayyyy to high tech for minecraft. The game is about mining and building, not surfing the web.
NO SUPPORT.
First of all, I never watch DanTDM. Secondly, you can get blocks on MineBay, and you can BUILD with blocks. Lastly, what about barriers? Aren't they 'high-tech'?
I definitely support this all the way. I've had this problem a few times in my early days, and I never use half-slabs as a floor anymore. This should definitely be put into Minecraft!
The Computer is a half-transparent block that is used for small things that are listed down below. When you place down the block, the computer assembles a laptop. It appears as a black laptop, has a dark-grey and light-grey mesh for the keyboard and will have a screen. The screen is luminous(so once it's placed the computer will have a 3 block radius of light) and has this forum's background. When you right-click it, the game screen zooms into the laptop and will show a minecraft version of this website(attachment below). It will have buttons you can click to visit some websites. Lastly, you can break it with your hand. Here's the crafting recipe(crafting recipe with custom logo below this):
(Red Wool is Redstone Dust)
CUSTOM LOGO:
There are a range of 6 custom logos to choose from. Apple(Full Apple), Chicken(Egg), Bone(Bone), Fire(Flint&Steel (You get the Flint&Steel back)), Dragon Egg(Dragon Egg), Pie(Pumpkin Pie). (Attachments Below) ( = Any of the 6, = Computer(for now))
MinEBAY:
MinEBAY is a website where you basically trade online. Except instead of using emeralds, you use gold nuggets instead. Stuff like bookshelves usually cost from 10 - 28 gold nuggets. Diamond blocks, nether stars, etc. usually cost from 256 - 1024 gold nuggets. If you don't have enough money, you can skip that offer and will take you to the next random offer.
MinePedia:
MinePedia is another website to get information to help you. It's literally just a pixellized version of Curse's MC Wiki, without the MC timeline, game versions(XBOX 360, etc.) etc. Just blocks, items and mobs.
MineTube:
Yes, MineTube. MineTube is the Minecraft version of YouTube, except you can't upload videos, but you can watch selected game-related videos such as PaulSoaresJr's MineCraft tutorial, Evolution of MineCraft, and ElementAnimation's MineCraft videos.

Just to be realistic here, gold is a heavy metal so when you talk about the "kick-back" wouldn't that resist more than you stated?

Exactly!
2
- More exploration
- Larger structures

What if you had no connection and was playing singleplayer, then you forgot the anvil crafting recipe. Yep, you're in quite a bit of trouble.
