Additional information: I have been playing Minecraft since I first heard of it back around the time when 1.8 came out. Although that isn't as long as others, I consider myself to be an experienced player. I've played on similar servers before, but after a while I realized the plugins took away from the survival experience. Inspired by the Mindcrack and Hermitcraft communities, I'm trying to find a server community with active, fun people who enjoy pure vanilla survival and doing things together in SMP. I have applied for two other vanilla survival servers, but in case I am not accepted to either (and there is a good chance of that, as I don't know that I applied in time), I'd like to have several options. The people all above me have been accepted with welcome arms into the community and have now been added to our whitelist.
I apologies for the inability to reach our server, we shut it down for the night to add more ram and stabilize the server and fix some white-listing issues we had but we plan to keep it up and running now.
This server does have PvP turned off so nobody will be attacking another. Aside from the owner, there is nobody who is OP as well. You can rest assured that nobody will be spawning in items or ruining the overall atmosphere of this server.
