how about instead of some weird crafting recipe you could have a nether diamond that is as rare as diamond and is only in the nether and stores the compression of the nether in it and creates the pocket dimensions
What are you talking about I have not seen any chest that is different from a normal chest is this a joke on me? or is this an actual thing in the game
if you must have guns then to not be OP you would replace the barrel from Iron to Diamond. You would replace the wood one the stock with Obsidian and then for the ammo you would replace the gunpowder with TnT and the stone with Diamond and then you might up the damage to 5 whole hearts and make a reload of 2 seconds and that is my suggestions for this if it has to be added other wise I do not want it in the game. and I will give you a reason for not adding the guns to the game. first of all it is not the time period now I am not saying that minecraft is medieval it just does not go with the low tech feel. and also with the current mobs the game is already to easy with a bow so before we need higher fire power we need to have better mobs.
hi I do not like that you used demon bones it kind of offends me could you please use something like big bones or something, otherwise it is a great suggestion
I think something is messed up because you are not thinking with portals you are thinking with 2d space the total number of ID's is 128! and that is not considering multi-material stuff
I watch and I make a new class in the minecraft.jar and make myself invincible and with the press of e I can cause the server to backup and with c cause the server to crash and revert to the backup.
after all that I make the world back to what it was and claim the hill and cause a backup and make another backup on my machine to make sure that the backup will never get corrupted and then I hold my hand over C.
awesome suggestion, but I have an idea for storing the stuff of any odd block(not a full block but made of micro-blocks) will have a single ID and else where in the map storage is an 3d-array of bytes 2,2,2 each byte mean what micro-block material and its place on the array is the the place in the world inside the block. arrays will only be created when a micro-block is supposed to exist in the world. other wise it is a great suggestion
P.S. sorry for any grammar mistakes
The problem with that idea is the sheer number of ID's that would have to be generated to fit into the 2x2x2 grid. Wish it could be done through that, but it is a lot of combinations. Let me just list just using the 1 combination.

So have you ever been thinking that minecraft is a flat land? Well it isn't anymore! my suggestion is that minecraft becomes a PLANET
A.K.A it has multiple sides
For those of you that say minecraft is infinite. That is false it is about 4,000,000,000 blocks across once you go past that it overwrites chunks
I would be interested in understanding how a computer works. if it is possible could I possibly get on the white list, and see how things are going and see how the computer works.

I am not sure what you are talking about I said that we should have arrays of bytes that are generated for every odd block.
