Ok so i watched doule rainboom and here are my 2 bits on it

I actualy liked it very much. It even made me chuckle cannot say anything really bad about it

    Story.
Quite a good story. Even thoguht the argument was a little weird it was executed in a very god was. When i first realized it had had some crossover elements i was not so sure about it. But it was good, instead of developing stupid and pointless interactions between RD and the PPFG they made a short yAet funny segment.
Oh yeah the pacing was indeed pretty good.
    Animation
Pretty damn good (in my inexperienced opinion) although sometimes it looked like they had problems adding perspective to the movements.
    Voices.
Pretty good too. I especially liked RD voice. Not gonna comment on the PPF voices sonce i have never heard them on English before.
    Moral
A Bit weak since not being reckless has alredy been handled in the actual show with more depth and respecting other peoples property is also pretty obvious.
    Music
Actually i did not paid attention to that aspect
    Misc
I did not found references to be specially intrusive in the pacing. With the notable exception of the trollface most were subtle and did not dsrupted the flow of the story.

    Overall.
Good plot, Good animations, good Voice acting
    GRade:
    340/360

By the way anyone here knows how did they got permission to do it? I doubt they simple sent a e-mail to Hasbro asking "Can we make it? Pretty please"

Yeah... Even i knew her... -that disturbs me... Being on fimfiction without proper filters is not an exeperience for the faint of heart...

Double Rainboom got permission by sending requests. The main reason it was accepted was probably on the grounds that it was a student film.

Hi! I've been busy moderating another forum, so I'll just post my (mostly positive!) thoughts on "double rainboom."

Story: Well paced, better than any FiM episode, and from such a simple and interesting idea! I was having fun! It was slow, but not TOO slow for my tastes.
Characters: Twi was oh so slightly OOC, but only enough to bother a meanie stickler like myself. Everyone else was great and true to character. And they get details really down.
Humor: Aaaand, it was HILARIOUS. The physical humor, specifically. The verbal jokes were great too, but the physical humor was getting me to laugh... when it wasn't ripping jokes straight from FiM. References are rarely funny to me, and straight up COPYING is inexcuseable.
Moral: Oooh, this was doing so well, too. Then the moral came. It wasn't "pay attention to your friends," it was "stealing is bad." ... I'll have to tackle morals some day, suffice to say this is a lazy moral.
Visuals: Okay, forget the "too much movement" animation issues and obvios problems when presented with something new. THEY FRICKING STOLE FOOTAGE STRAIGHT FROM THE SHOW. I'm NOT fine with being shown a LAZY sonic rainboom clip WHEN YOU ALREADY SHOWED YOU CAN MAKE ONE. And the WORST part is that they did it AFTER the art style change SO YOU CAN TELL. That completely knocked me out of it, because THAT is just LAZY.
    Otherwise, eh.
Other: They got okay voices. Twilight's was a bit off.
Final thoughts: Outside that ONE thing that annoys me to no end, this is an extremely solid episode! Great simple story (not complex, no need to be), great humor! And that's what I came in expecting. I'll take that!
    Score: 7.5/10 (Great!)

There were no parts taken from the show. All of it was original animation, reviewed and critiqued by a large crew of people. There were absolutely zero assets taken from the show besides some visual references.

Here's the alternate ending theme for Double Rainboom. I thought it was quite wonderful.

Thanks for the help and the quick replies. I'm pleased to announce that it has in fact been fixed. The problematic add-on, surprisingly, was not one of the useless ones that I sometimes download. It was, as a matter of fact, something that I'm not even so sure what it does. I think it's one of those ones that your computer asks you to download, and you don't really know what it does, but you download anyway, because you figure your computer knows more about this thing than you in this case. Anyhow, whatever this add-on is, it's disabled now.

Oh, and if any future people ever have a similar problem, here are the steps I used to rectify this issue with opening and closing spoilers:

    1) Go to incognito mode on Google Chrome. It disables most of your extensions/add-ons.

    2) If the spoilers on the Minecraft Forums function in incognito mode, then it is, in fact, a problem with your add-ons.

    3) Look at the extensions/add-ons you have in both Chrome, and Firefox, and compare which ones are used on both browsers (assuming the issue is paralleled in both browsers.)

    4) Keep disabling add-ons, restarting your browser, and testing the Forums.

    5) Once you disable an add-on, and it causes the Minecraft Forums to function as it properly should, you may re-enable all other add-ons that you want.

Here was the specific program I was having a problem with. Again, I really don't know what it is or what it exactly does. Looks like a toolbar of some sort that I had hidden or something.

So I used to be around on the Minecraft forums a bit more, but I left for a while. Recently, I came back and looked through a few threads. I was somewhat irritated by the fact that I could no longer click spoilers. As you can imagine, this can be problematic, as threads with a lot of spoiler tags can not be read thoroughly.

So, looking further into it, I found that this did not happen instantaneously. For a few seconds into opening the thread, I was, in fact, able to open spoilers. However, it always changes when, uninvited, this glitchy black bar comes down. It's not a pop-up, but more like an error in the page. It only appears for a brief second, and then goes away, rendering it impossible for me to open or close any spoiler tags, no matter how much I try. I have tried this on both Firefox and Chrome to the same result—an inability to open up spoilers.

What I'm asking, is how do I fix this error, and if anyone else has had any problems like this before, please tell me, because it is certainly something of which I have never seen before in all my time on the Internet.

Managed to get a screenshot of the elusive creature. This is what appears for a brief second before disappearing and messing up all the spoilers:

I seem to recall hearing the title of that video in the past, but I never got to watch it. I'll do so tonight, when my dad stops hovering over me.

You'll might like the opening. It basically references EQD, except it for calls it "The Trixie Variety Show." It's basically the same position you're in with EQD and your fics. Solution: Change the names of your fics to something random. Or hack EQD. Either one. :/

Also, speaking of Rainbow Dash Presents, I think the newest episode is coming up soon. Maybe within the week. It's looking really good (I follow the artist's Tumblr) probably even better than this one, seeing as the guy has gained skill.

If you're looking for a good video editing program (and I assume you'd like a free one) then I'd recommend going to this thread, and look under the "Video editing programs."

I have to say I love overtures. In particular, Felix Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream overture, and Rosinni's William Tell Overture

Also, I particularly love a lot of Mozart's more dramatic music, like this one:

I think you mean vector. When you use something like a brush tool or something in a vector program, it tends to smooth it up a bit.

Speaking of 3D ponies, I found this epic piece of 3D pony art. You have to zoom in to really appreciate how detailed and realistic it is.

Introducing DethPotato's new OC OC (Overcast) That would cause some confusion, but it is definitely a great name.

It's definitely a great name, but I think it might be just a bit too cool for my OC. Not sure. I think I like just plain old Cloudy Day, even if it only moderately fits.

Also, addressing the fact that his hair looks kind of like RD's, yes, I suppose it does. I'm not particularly creative and that's one of the few manes I know how to draw, other than like Pinkie Pie's and Twilight Sparkle's. And to be honest, those wouldn't fit. I'm sure there would be some kind of thing that would work better, but as I said, I don't think I'm creative enough yet to come up with something good.

Here, guys, I made an OC. Go easy on me, please. I know it's not perfect. I also probably should have made it in a bigger size. Oh well. Anyhow, what do you think? Is the color scheme alright? Personally, I'm kind of attached to this color scheme, so I probably wouldn't totally revamp it, but I might do some slight alterations.

Also, any ideas for a name for him? I kind of like Cloudy, but I also wanted to add onto that. I was thinking something simple like Cloudy Day, which is a weird name, I'll admit, but seriously, ponies do tend to have weird names.
