Hi. I'm looking for an ocean map that spans 187x187 chunks, or, about 3000x3000 blocks. I don't need it to be too detailed, and no. I can't do it in MCEdit. It's not like I'm going to go buy a $2000 alienware computer just to make a map.
This request could be compensated for by an ocean generator mod for Minecraft 1.2.5, but finding one has been beyond me after multiple searches, and I don't know much javascript at all.
I recently downloaded an incredible 3000x3000 air world, which has turned out lovely for me. The issue is, however, I cannot build too low, else the skybox generates an odd effect that works in turn with a regular world... but not in my case.
I know that Superflat worlds do not do this. Are there any mods, or is there any way I can change the way the skybox renders into the way it does on a Superflat world?
If it helps, I also have SinglePlayerCommands to use in case they have a command which does this.
It feels so obvious, but I forgot how to increase and decrease build range in creative mode. I know it's [something] with the mousewheel, but my memory is just failing me.
Our country is in major debt due to this war. I don't think war was the right way to go about this but I do think there is a justified cause. My cousins husband and my girlfriends mom and dad were all in the war. My cousins husband and my girlfriends mom have PTSD now as a result. My cousin's is so bad he sees things that aren't there and can barely function. My views have still not changed as a result.
Than you must be a very sturdy person, who's opinions refuse to change.
While I don't support many of the things you're saying, I don't think any amount of logic in this post, or any after it could win your opinion.
I just want you to know that the USA is not the center of the world, and we have more problems to fix here, as soon as possible than is countable by the approximate 12TB of the human brain.
What about the possibility of supporting the troops but not the war?
How do you support the troops? Do you put a sticker on your car? Do you walk around telling people "I support our troops!"
Not good enough. There are men dying out there for a cause they don't even believe is right.
If you really want to support the troops, than do something to take action. If you want to support the troops, and all you do is watch Fox News, eating potato chips, that's not supporting the troops.
If you're actually doing something, I apologize for coming across offensively.
We are not making money off this war. We have spent over a trillion dollars over there.
As a person, I can tell you this. That war is about three things alone.
Money.
Oil.
Power.
That's it. Nothing more. I'm sure that you feel that you support the troops. I'm sure, that you think that the war is the right way to go, or at least that it has a justified cause. And I'm far more sure that these views would change if one of your family members went off to war, and you were later delivered a FOLDED American Flag.
Now, granted, our country isn't Worst Place on Earth, but it really needs a shape-up. FAST. Because, personally, I don't want to be the one to have to deal with the four-trillion+ dollars that we owe because of greedy idiots who can't see the bigger picture.
Are you implying the American Revolution "humbled" us? If so thats rather inaccurate, although it was a significant blow to us and arguably our military failed, we couldn't commit ourselves to such a costly war when the French were lurking ready to invade if we over-extended ourselves.
An unfortunate state of affairs indeed, but in the end all we lost was a colony and its not the big deal Americans today seem to think it is, though it was a huge deal for them and I don't blame them at all for thinking it.
(One thing that actually DOES annoy me is arrogant fellows who shout: "YOU DON'T HAVE AN EMPIRE ANYMORE" or: "WE PWNED YOUIN THE REVOLUTION" and my pet hate: "WE SAVED YOU IN BOTH WORLD WARS") All of those comments are ignorant and insulting.
But again, thats like a large minority.
I'm not attempting to imply that the American Revolution 'humbled' you. If you'd think so, than so be it.
I'm saying that both sides had great amounts of discipline. The American men, fighting life and death, because they honestly believe in what they're doing. I know a number of U.S. soldiers, and let me tell you, god knows that they do not agree with what they're fighting for. They're just trying to make the whole thing end sooner, or keep what's happening now from getting out of hand.
In fact, the war that the USA is fighting right now is probably the most pointless, greedy war ever... issued by the very men in our offices who have borderline no discipline. They don't know how it feels to kill a man, all they know is that they, personally can score a few more bucks by sending men off to die.
As a born, and raised US citizen, I cannot agree with the OP at all.
First of all, I don't support that snobby attitude you seem to be taking. I understand defending the honor of yourself and your country in this argument, but you're being so cocky and closed-minded about it.
Open your mind a little. Think about the possibility that where you live might just NOT be the center of the universe.
And, on that note, I go on to say that the U.S.A needs discipline. The source of the only sense of TRUE satisfaction. Not a bloated budget.
The British had it during our revolutionary war. WE had it during our revolutionary war. But the people in our offices, pushing our pencils hardly have discipline at all.
And the media around here isn't much help either. A little patriotism is a good thing, but we're being taught that we're the center of the universe.
Our country needs to open our minds a bit more, and understand the meaning of real decisive thinking. Anybody who is concerned about how many billions you're making tomorrow, step aside now! Nobody gets in the way of the World's modern economics!
(I have been wanting to give out a rant on our lack of discipline for so long. It is satisfying.)
I can type what ever the **** I feel like. I have never done LSD but I know people who have, and I have been around them while there were on it. They all say it's like dreaming. Really vivid and insane dreaming.
You can be against it all you want buddy. But I'm just adding to the conversation. don't like it? Ignore it and move on.
"I can type what ever the **** I feel like."
I have that power, too! We must certainly be superheroes.
I'm not saying it's illegal(even though it actually IS, now that I think about it), I'm saying that it's wrong to suggest somebody do something that potentially will screw up their future, and their present.
I really dont like reality, because my dreams are always better in any aspect.
I have a very large and hyperactive imagination, and from day 1 it kept growing and growing.
Now that i am 19, i am capable of creating universes, worlds and more in my dreams and my daydreams.
I quit having nightmares at age 8, and i am a natural born lucid dreamer, meaning all of my dreams start out lucid.
Im not sure how that works, but it just does.
Everything in my dreams is always better to reality in comparison..
the people, the places, the things that happen..
i wish i could bring my dreams into reality, but it would take a miracle.
So thats why i dislike reality, because it will never be as good as my dreams/daydreams/thoughts.
Dreams will always be better than your life.
Whether you're slowly falling, or saving a land, or stopping a monster, or flying freely through an entire complex of multiverses, meeting new people you'll never see again, or even overcoming personal troubles.
In a dream, if it's lucid, you have infinite power. In life you do not.
Why would dreams not be better? But, if you want to continue these dreams, you'll do your best at reality.
I probably shouldn't say this but, LSD. You wan't to escape this reality. That does the trick.
Wow. Really? Wow.
What you just punched into that keyboard, was one of the most idiotic things I've ever read.
I did not detect anything even close to a rational thought in that statement.
You honestly, need to re-think about what you've just said, and really analyze it, and tell me if there's any honest logic in doing LSD.
I don't have a problem with it. What I do have a problem with is 7-year-olds, yelling "**** YOU YOU MOTHER ****ING FAGGOT ASS PANSY HO ***** SKANK DICKWAD!"
When I was a kid, my lips were clean as a whistle from this kind of behavior. I guess that's why I'm considered an intelligible person.
*Memory flashes*
*Leans left, and farts*
DESTRIC! Don't fart at me!
*Memory goes away*
Except, you know that isn't how it really began.
(Cows farted first.)
Seriously, though, I feel that global warming is just a natural occurrence. Though, we would know FOR SURE if people hadn't burned that goddamn library years back.
