Anyway, when it's the normal number (for me) I never have that problem. My inventory could be full of stacks of ammo. But whenever I give myself a full stack (64) it just consumes every last one until all the "hacked in" stacks are gone. Maybe yours does it no matter what, but that's what happened to me. Also, sometimes, everytime I get in the AA gun, it magically spawns another one FOR NO RAISIN! Fortunately, I am the greetest.
