    Cast "Disarm" on a Dark Mage to get a "General" Affinity Tome. this will unlock you're affinity and reduce ALL of your affinities by 10%

    the 2 "world killers" i know about are:

    applying Dispelling to your Leggings with the Imbuement table (you will CTD the moment any kind of effect is applied to you, and be unable to re-enter the world unless you use a save editor to remove the offending item)


    attempting to summon the Winter Guardian. CTD, unable to re-enter world, only solution is to revert to a backup

    does this map remind anyone else of the old Wizardry games or Moraff's World?


    LOVE the old-school dungeon crawl style, already looking forward to more


    with that in mind, some friendly suggestions:


    more traps! the spikes and pits were awesome, but were really obvious and easy to avoid. maybe some stuff that's triggered by tripwires, string BUDs, or pressure plates to really keep adventures on their toes (you could even add a special item that's found/bought that can disarm them)


    More enemies! i haven't beaten the map yet, so there might be more i haven't seen, but all i've seen so far is skeletons and zombies. i'm figuring that might be because you're unaware that you can put armor and weapons on other mobs? they dont show up on the model, but its entirely possible to put diamond armor on a creeper, or arm a spider with a sword

    posted a message on Inventory Pets: Animated creatures that live in your inventory and give you amazing special abilities

    a few reasons i think InvPets is so popular:


    • Balance. its not overpowered, pets have reasonable recipes or are reasonably rare. every pet requires a food supply you have to maintain
    • Unique. never seen another mod like it, and some of the powers the pets have i've never seen before either
    • THEY'RE JUST SO DARN CUTE!!!!

    no worries, we were all newbies once


    RF is short for Redstone Flux, and can be considered the Minecraft version of Electricity


    most Tech mods use it, or can be configured to use it


    if the only Tech mod you're using is EU, then the only things you really need RF to power are the Ender Thermic Pump and the Ender Quarry, but it's used to power alot of devices in other mods
