Go right ahead. and yeah, I was wondering about the second entry.
I originally had that problem when testing it, but I fixed it and I don't think I uploaded an old version. Did you install it on a clean copy of minecraft? I'll look into it more tomorrow, good thing that's really only a cosmetic issue.
Thank you for those, do you mind if I put them in the original post? That control bind screenshot worries me, there shouldn't be two entries, and that makes me think I might have uploaded the wrong version.
Unfortunately, the qs.class conflicts with the Single Player Commands mod. I'd recommend getting that fixed if you want people to use your mod, as it seems Single Player Commands is one of the most used around the Minecraft community. :smile.gif:
That's what I use to enable sprinting features. I suppose I could throw out the sprinting while flying, and just make sprinting binded to a separate key an alternative to the double tap (though that reintroduced the problem of accidentally double tapping and falling into lava or something similar). I'll look into some alternate ways. Worse comes to worst I'll see if I can make a specific version of that class that blends Single Player Commands and my fix.
I originally made this mod just for me so I could have the annoying little things not yet fixed in Minecraft ironed out. Then I realized that there's not much of a downside to releasing it for other people to use. Most of these fixes are really small modifications that I can almost take no credit for (really, one of the fixes involved me just commenting out a few statements). I'm open to any suggestions for other small modifications/fixes, but nothing that involves changing what vanilla Minecraft already feels like.
Features:
Sprint is set to a configurable key (Left-Control is default)
Quit Button added to the main menu
You can now sprint while flying (you're already flying, so why not?)
F4 toggles the latency graph while viewing the debug menu (F3), makes it possible to see the chat and coordinates easier
Requirements:
ModLoader - Mostly needed to make the mod as compatible with other mods as possible (in other words, for the sprint key configuration)
Installation:
Go to your .minecraft folder (WindowsKey+R, then type in %APPDATA% and it will be in that folder). Goto the bin folder and find minecraft.jar. Open it with Winrar, drag and drop the Modloader files, then drag and drop the files for my mod in. Finally delete the folder "META-INF" that's in minecraft.jar (Minecraft won't work anymore if you don't do this).
Remarks:
The quit button fix was literally already added by Notch a few versions ago, he just hasn't added in the code to make it only show up on the executable and not the applet (so it doesn't show up on both). So, since you can't have mods on the applet version anyways, I went ahead and made it add the button no matter what.
I love this mod and makes my Minecraft look amazing, but may I suggest a more casual change in the depth of field? Whenever I look at something close and then far away (like I'm walking up stairs and then get to the top) I can see a very choppy change in the shading. It would be nice to have a fade effect for the shading. (I've tried the more realistic shader)
