The expectations are above the roof, but with only one person working on this, the project may take a long time to be fully complete. In fact, I am putting this map in its alpha version. For over one week, I have been writing the epic storyline, which I can say is already almost complete, and I have started to build the world itself. As of now, Noralon only consists of one small town, but this will grow into many great cities, and countless numbers of villages. The quests are being transferred from paper into the game, one at a time. There will be countless easter eggs hidden throughout the map.

What the map will consist of when it is complete:
- Dungeons
- A couple of huge cities
- Countless villages/towns
- Epic main storyline
- Dozens of sidequests that help lead up to the main story
- Hundreds of easter eggs throughout the map
- Hundreds of hours of gameplay

1. Do not break any blocks unless the quests tell you to do so
2. Follow the storyline!
3. Complete all of the quests of the main storyline in order
4. You do not need to do all of the side quests, but it is highly recommended for the full experience
5. Warning: The length will be really long, so if you are looking for a quick map, this is not for you. As of now, Alpha Version .5 there is approximately 1 hour of gameplay.
6. There is a lot of reading involved, please be aware of that!

















This texture pack is a must! This texture pack helps make this map original. Without this texture pack, you will be unable to play the map the way I have pictured it to play. You will probably still be able to play without it, but it will take away from the full experience of the map.

- As you play the game, you may notice the many paintings that are used. Without the texture, the flags will not be there alongside the beautiful paintings.

I hate it how people act so different over games and the internet but would never dare do something like that in real life. I wonder how they would act around you in real life. Idk, some people are really immature. I would suggest to keep looking for servers where this does not happen. I am not saying you will find one on google if you search " minecraft server without sexual harassment towards girls" because that wont work. Trial and error. Join as much as you can, and see which one fits.

That would be better to do because although this does raise awareness, some people will never change. They will continue to be immature brats no matter how much times you try to teach them that it is wrong.

But yeah, +1 to you!

I really like it. I used to design all of my buildings like that, I guess everyone uses that style sooner or later. I have switched styles, but I think you used it well and the area you chose is great. Awesome how you have the trees still growing, and you built around them instead of cutting them down.

Why dont YOU look at it from the companies position? many MANY artists have found a way to profit by using the internet, and just because some market influences are still stuck in their luddite ways, it doesn't mean we should give any credence to their complaints. The boys behind self helpless as well as Louie CK have all explored digital distribution and actually *GASP* turned a profit. Saying you are looking out for notch is a really shortsighted thing to say when you have no idea how he feels. Maybe if you read that link up there, you might see things from his perspective.

Oh and one more thing... just because Notch said that it is not theft, that does not change my perspective on things. I respect him and always will, but he is not some idol that I have to agree with on whatever he says. I sir, have my own opinion and I stand by it, no matter what others believe.

I hope you realize that companies that makes games lose millions of dollars in profit when their games are pirated. And I don't care what type of form of taking it it, taking chocolate, a girls virginity, or something online, if it has copyright it cannot be taken. Notch may allow it but don't try to convince me that many others do too. Each game pirated is money lost that should have went to were it was supposed to. You said you cannot take data, instead you can only copy it. Now explain to me the difference... You "copy" someone's work is the same thing as stealing. That is why you are not allowed to "copy" on tests, essays, SAT's etc.

UFO's are real. Hell, a paper airplane I throw out my window can be considered a UFO by someone who sees it thirty feet away...
And other life besides us? There is a large possibility, how can we assume that there is no possible way of other life beyond our own Earth? We did not know that North and South America even existed until a couple hundred years ago. That doesn't mean North and South America wasn't there. Other people were already living there too... Also, how can we assume there is no life beyond us, if we still haven't explored our entire Earth? We have only seen all of our land. We are still not certain what lies at the bottom of our oceans.

Honestly, I could even argue that there is civilization at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. You can't assume I am wrong, we have not been there before. So before we check everything in the entire universe, we cannot rule out the possibility of life beyond our Earth.

Checking the entire universe won't take too long either. It has only taken us 2012 years to discover what we know now, all we need are the oceans and we are done with earth. Then we can move on to the next...!

AC II is my all time favorite. Assassin's Creed I seemed like a test for Ubisoft on how everyone would react and really just dipping their feet in the water. Not saying that it wasn't a good game, my second favorite behind AC II. I just really think that Ubisoft nailed it with AC II. I also believed that AC III would be the best yet, but it's really short story line has proven me wrong. What a shame too, ACIII was loads of fun but just did not last.

No seriously, stop it. I've already exceeded my facepalm quota for one night and you really shouldn't repeat the mistakes in others' arguments. Tobacco is a stimulant to the nervous system, so any relaxation you feel is purely psychological. Therefore, I see no utility in it.

This is for girls on servers, who are treated unfairly or creepy by the boys.
A long time a, I joined a server one time, a boy said "We can boss you around because this is a boy's game". I left and deleted it immedently.
Today, I joined a spleef server to watch the spleef players. No boy would leave me alone. They were squatting up and down repeatedly. I left. I went on my favorite server and just minutes ago, all the boys did the same and said rude remarks about me being a girl. I told the owner, and he didn't care.
I am SICK of this behavior! I am DONE with trying to shove it off. I want to have rights being a girl. It's always like, "This is a boy's game." No it isn't. It's anyone's game.

I payed for this game to have fun. No, I used too, not anymore.
Help me by spreading this message. If your a girl who's treated like this, just say what you want. It's your choice.

Stairs are placeable in a variety of directions based on which way you place them.

Why then are Log blocks so static? The cut portions of log blocks always face in a vertical position.

I suggest that log blocks should be placed in such a way where the cut portion of a log always faces you at the instance of placing.

The benefits of this are mostly in decoration but it opens up a lot of possibilities:

Aesthetic Examples

-horizontal log beams
-Log piles (lumber camp) and other such designs.
-Log cabins (anyone?)
-Anything else you can think of?

I'm on a boat


My take on a log cabin, complete with brick fire place, lumber storage, and birch garden.

New Horizontal log creation, Desert Caravan Stormwatch Tower.

Reinforced with heavy logs, this sand structure stands high on the flat desert horizon, watching for incoming sandstorms and bandit raids to aid local trade caravans in their journey.

More Creations. A jungle look-out platform for Tarzan enthusiasts:

When height = Survival in the jungle, you can't go wrong with lashing together logs to make yourself a jungle platform up in the trees.


My attempt to make birch logs look good by making a rounded Tipi structure. It failed on the outside, inside looks fine. I attribute it more to birch being ugly as sin rather than my project.
