Ok, so I am thinking on making a futuristic RPG shooter called Deserted Ray. The backstory in a nutshell is a military plane pilot crashed his plane in a field near Indianapolis. He is fighting a group of people named The Closers. The Closers plan to kill all of the Earth's inhabitants. The pilot recruits a team of fighters, technicians, builders, and pilots to help with the task. The player is a pilot that is named Ray Rivers. Ray was a pilot in the military until 2202 when he retired.
Achievements
Fix the bi-plane
Get resources
Set up a headquarters
Build a hangar
Build more planes
Get information on The Closers
Plan an attack
Have fun with it and make your own plot!
Finish the achievements and make up your own NPCs!
This seems like a good business proposition. All I ask of you, kind sir, is to share your other projects with me and my development team. Now, how do you want this game designed? With the storyline you have given me, I believe that small web browser game in java would be perfect. If you can expand on the story by giving me around 10-30 pages of necessary information and another 20 pages of other things you think should be included, my team and I could begin developing this game for the Wii U, and the game would be ready to hit shelves around the world at around the same time of the Wii U's release.
IMPORTANT:
I have 13 guys who all need to support themselves and their families.
13 of those guys are the actual game designers, so out of all profits made each of them will need 3%= total of 39% profits.
Because I am the CEO of the "game development team", I will need at least 60% of all profits made.
Since you have given us this grand idea, you will be rewarded with an entire 1% of all profits made.
Well, I think you should work on your outside structures. Especially that dull cobblestone tower. Add some materials to it, or don't have it going straight up. Think of a nice pattern.
Also, try to build into the terrain instead of making it flat for your buildings. Things look better when they look natural.
Honest rate: 7.5 (Coming from a critic)
But it all has a lot of potential. You have the basics down for everything, now you just need to expand by thinking outside of the box
How sad. Everything was better in the good old days, wasn't it, old-timer?
I see what you did there
But, just because he may be new to the forums, does not automatically mean he is new to the game. I did not join the forums after over a year of purchasing the game, silly me lol
Sorry, the way it's supposed to be is creative "mode" , i am from brazil and i have troubles to express by writing in english. i will try to express my idea again, when pressing Ctrl key the player will have the body and view aligned to the cardinal points and you will only have view up and down 90 -90º, it will help to put glass more easy.
So the Ctrl key could make the same effect of Shift Key to not fall but allowing runner.
If is still not understood please tell me what.
Don't worry your English and grammar are just fine. I believe that strottinglemon's comment was directed towards somebody else Anyway, what you are trying to get at makes complete sense. Basically, what you want is when placing certain blocks you avoid moving your character by pressing the ctrl key. Then just being able to look up and down to place blocks more easily. To admit, having my character move like the way you are trying to avoid does annoy me a lot, but I guess I just have to live with it. This is a good idea, and I don't think it would be that hard to implement in the game.
The thing is, is it really that important?
The problem here is that you can't minimize the chance of getting on a small island without any trees. The world is generated by itself and therefore no two worlds will ever be the same, unless using the same seed. Making a new world would save you time and unnecessary work for Mojang.
I think it would be a little hard to implement. Also, if we mine all the way to bedrock, would we not be in trouble being so deep down? Also, how would these temperatures effect the player? Maybe the water will freeze, but will the player also be affected? I truly think that your idea is a good start, but you can't implement one thing and leave the other. If the temperature of the environment changes and effects the land around the player, the player should also be effected. Here is what I was thinking for the highest of altitudes:
Since the air is so thin, once you are near, by, or even beyond the clouds, there can be a bubble thing just like when underwater. These bubbles would not burst as fast as in water, but would go down just as fast as the hunger bar, if not slower. This may work, but I think many players would not like this idea of mine because everyone is always building sky cities etc.
I really like it. I used to design all of my buildings like that, I guess everyone uses that style sooner or later. I have switched styles, but I think you used it well and the area you chose is great. Awesome how you have the trees still growing, and you built around them instead of cutting them down.
There is not much left to say haha.
It is a good idea, but what I think would be pretty cool would be if Minecraft had a list of game modes in the settings. Basically just have a list of all the game versions, so you can decide which version you want to play on. For the people who think the game is becoming more of a RPG, they can play an earlier version. This would probably be hard to make because you would have to update your mods each time you decided to switch between versions. So I doubt that Jeb would feature this but, hey, you never know
WaW is an old game I'm surprized you still play it!
I am surprised you think it is an old game... haha. You can consider arcade games "old", a game that was made some 4 years ago (?) is not really considered old.
I think it was a lot better than the newer games...
Terraria is a great game. Its a sandbox adventure game. You'll spend hours adventuring. 10 dollars on steam!
No you dont understand. It is so similar to MC, and that is what I am trying to get away from for a bit. A new to lay a game that is in a completely different genre, I might try some sport game or racing game or something... Ahh. I always used to think there was to many games, but now when I have the chance to try something completely knew, I cant figure it out...
Guys I am so bored it hurts my head :sad.gif: I don't even feel like playing Minecraft right now...
Can anyone suggest some really good pc games that I should try out?
Exceptions:
-Skyrim, mw3, bf3, portal, portal 2, and tf2.
Played them a lot and don't want to even think about them lol.
I am also in the mood of trying any type of game, so it could be mad yesterday or 10 years ago, Idc as long as it is good.
- Would you recommend I try warcraft 3?
Guild Wars 2 where are you...
