I do not know if it will work but I recommend doing one thing just to be sure
go to http://www.tomshardware.com/ and join their forums. Whenever I have questions related to computers I ask around on the forums and get answers really fast. They are a forums all about gaming computers, buildings computers, putting them together, etc so you should be fine there.

So I am having a small problem, and it might be really stupid once I figure out the answer but here it goes...
I plan on making my currently single player world into a server soon, and I want to download worldguard just to get ahead of the game by marking where people cannot build or delete blocks. Also I have many land plots which will be up for grabs by the players once it goes online.
So here is my problem:
When I play on the world which is still singleplayer, I cannot type in anything when I press t. DO I have to download a mod like the command mod to be able to type, or when I download worldguard I will be able to type on the commands which allow me to make plots and not allow people build in certain locations.
For example in worldguard you type:
/region delete diamond blocks
to delete an area that you named diamond blocks..
So when playing on singleplayer once I download worldguard I will be able to type?
Piano I think you should have just added to older posts.. this whole concept is new but the whole dimensions thing is that exact same thing as others are talking about.
Also, can you explain why you believe we need dimensions for everything?
Do you really think they are necessary?..
Please not this.. It is enough that we have the hunger bar. Please this would just annoy the hell out of everyone, having to run back and forth getting some sleep.
The hunger bar is enough..
I decided to try and make a skin today, and without further thinking I went straight into it. I though it would be easy, but it takes some time and you need to be a pretty good artist to make them actually look really good.
Because I am no where near being an artist my skin may not be as good as some would assume...
Anyway here it is:
END(noun/verb)
A point that marks the extent of something.
The End should be just that - an end. Like you say, it's a sandbox game, so I'm not sure why you're bored when you beat the Enderdragon.
Personally, I am not bored after killing the enderdragon. In fact, I usually play creative and build towns so I don't really take notice to the dragon anymore. Anyway, a sandbox game has no end, until you completely go brain dead and can't think of what else to build :biggrin.gif:
I mean for now it can be used for the end, but the concept itself can be used for other things if there ever comes a need.
Also, killing the dragon will not always be the end, Mojang are without a doubt going to add new things, probably other bosses etc.
It is hard thinking of how the end should look like especially when we do not really know the future plans of Mojang, so it will just keep us guessing honestly.
Sorry for the double post, I thought my posts were not going through, but I just realized by stupidity and realized that my posts were on page 2.. fml
Back on task..
My idea does not have to be specifically for the end; in fact, it can be used for basically anything, after you finish something or accomplish it, you have the ability to travel to new lands where you have access to new blocks that can only be used there. There could be a large number of these lands, without the need to keep making new dimensions.
clicking yes or no to adventure to a new area? sorry, that sounds terrible.
I'd rather want him to include the aether tbh :tongue.gif:
I think that is the most challenging part about making games, making everyone and I respect Mojang such a darn good job so far.
Anyway, the yes or no alongside the movie would only happen once just to make the story feel a little more... epic. After that you would be able to travel back and forth however many times you would like, without the same message on every trip.
Imo, this is a pretty strong solution to solving the problem with making many dimensions.

That is why it is so difficult to make a game, it is almost impossible to please everyone :smile.gif:
Maybe that is what makes a fun challenge though..
You only click yes or no the first time and the video only plays once just to make it feel more epic I guess. Also you do not have to travel to the new land, and you can return back whenever you want to. Besides my idea is not set in stone, it is constantly changing in this conversation haha.
Imo, it is a pretty solid solution to minimizing the amount of dimensions.
Sorry I was not able to really think about this because I fell asleep like a child last night haha.
Anyway, I have thought of some additions to my original idea of different land masses that can only be traveled to after you finish some kind of quest etc, in this case killing the dragon. Going with the idea of different land masses, it would be cool if Mojang was able to come up with a small video the first time you travel to the new lands.
Something like:
It shows pictures of you killing the dragon, and you on a ship bound to the new land, and while the pictures area shown it says something like this in the background:
Note: * (I was thinking that they would use a old man's voice, a man of knowledge or something, someone like Gandalf from Lotr.
"You thought that killing the dragon was the end, but you have a lot to learn young one..
Killing the dragon is only the beginning of your travels. Killing the dragon was only a test of your survival skills.
You now have the option to leave the stone sword, the wooden axe, and the diamond pickaxe, and travel to a land that has previously never been talked about. Everything may seem different, new challenges will arise, and survival will be more important than ever before. If you are a true adventurer you will sail the vast seas to not only see your new challenges, but to embrace them and conquer them as you have been able to do here. The land you are now on is for new comers, and you have proven yourself to move forward. Though you do not have to leave now, whenever you may feel the urge to adventure again, come stop by and I will arrange a ship for you."
At the end of the story it asks you on the screen:
Would you like to travel now?
or
Would you rather stay here for awhile?
If you pressed the first one then it would show another video of you on the seas and the old man speaking as a narrator and explaining how you made the right choice etc. After that movie you land on the shore of the new land, with the sea behind you, and a thick forest ahead of you and mountains in the distance whose peaks touch the heavens.
Note: *Sorry the story sounds a little childish but I am kind of put on the spot right now haha :smile.gif:
hmm.. I think I will have to sleep on this before I give you a good enough answer, especially because you are looking for really helpful feedback so I should watch what I say. I will be thinking about this all night now haha, I might come up with something good unless I am overwelmed by sleep right away.

Do the swamps really have to look so evil? They look like a place that you do not want to go near..
