Sorry I'm so late, but I don't use iexplorer so I don't know where all the files are located there, but if you can find the app, then go into it, and rename the skin you want "char.png" without the quotation marks, and drag it into minecraftpe.app and it will ask you to overwrite, just overwrite it, and play minecraft, it should change your skin.
