Yes, support.
I love waterfalls and would definitely like to see them in Minecraft.
Also, I'm not a programmer and have no idea how difficult this would be, but I think it would be cool to have rivers that actually flow.
This looks fantastic, and I will definitely be downloading it once I switch to 1.6.2 (still waiting for Thaumcraft to update). One problem, though-I think I'm going to need to change some IDs when I do download it. I tried to open a config file just to see what it looked like, but my computer said it can't open it. Can someone tell me how exactly I go about doing this? What program do I use?
I don't know if this is the right spot to post this, but I don't know where else to put it and it's sort of related to this mod...
I like the idea of hardened clay being easier to get and I like the idea of non-sandy deserts but even the somewhat muted colors of the hardened clay palette are generally far too garish for a "painted desert" look. One of the good features of the current worldgen is that the terrain is passably realistic. Undyed, white, light grey, brown, and maybe pink and orange are the only colors I think you could use. Even that palette would be less realistic than a Road Runner cartoon.
I think the hardened clay colors would work well in a painted desert biome, particularly the orange and red. Have you ever been to or seen pictures of the Painted Hills in Oregon? Or the Desert Southwest of the United States? Both have very similar colors in some areas.
