Metroid Soundpack - After a week or two of trying to figure out what Soundpack I should make next, I stumbled upon Metroid Sound. I have created a Soundpack that Replaces all sounds of Minecraft with Sounds and Music from the older Metroid games (Metroid, Super Metroid, and Metroid Zero Mission).
Based on what you're posting, it sounds to me as if you're actually replacing the resources folder.
Go to the .minecraft folder. There should be a folder called audiotori in there. Put your sound packs in there. Do not modify the resources folder.
If that's not the issue, I'm not sure what's going on.
It shouldn't have anything to do with the OS that I can think of.
No, I think what he was asking is if he was doing something wrong by replacing the resource sounds with ones of a sounpack. Minecraft WILL replace the sounds by downloading them again. How Minecraft works, is that it downloads everything EXCEPT the sounds when it updates. So, while you play, it downloads the sounds and music, and does so each time you start it up. It will check the sounds, and if it finds any irregularities, it will fix them ((aka, the folders in the resource folder))

Edit: I found that I forgot one of the Endermen Idle sounds, so I made that small tweak and set up a new link for it. But, if you already have the Soundpack and don't want to redownload it for just one sound. Just go into audiotori --> Donkey Kong Soundpack --> sound3 --> mob --> endermen and then copy one of the idle sounds and rename the copy to idle5.
Well, for old packs like Oblivioncraft, just make a new folder named "sound3" and put all of the folders that in the sound folder that includes folder names like "Ambient" and "Step" and "Tile" in the sound3 folder.

Eh, sorry, but no. I was only going to make one application for this rp server. And upon seeing that it only has 30 player cap, I doubt it would be very lively at any time. And how is Sunarrow not a real last name? I have seen far weirder last names than that. And the way that I Roleplayed with the example, That could have easily been 4 people (including me) roleplaying. I don't appreciate how I have to go by "your" rules and do "your" way to rp. Everyone Role plays differently and you should accept that and be more lenient in those departments.
Role-Play Exp.: I was a member of Lord of the Craft, a very strict roleplay server, for about 1 1/2 years before it crashed and became unplayable. I have been Role playing since I was 13 years old and am an avid Paragraph role player.
Why Us: I am looking for a RP server that has skills to help me shape my character, as a Rp server without skills is loose and gives people the ability to do things their character normally wouldn't be able to do.
Time You Can Dedicate: I am readily able to commit Three to Four hours a day to this server, IF the Role play draws me in to stay.
Have you played Assassin's Creed? I have not played any of the games in this series, but I know that that doesn't matter if I'm only going to be a Citizen/worker. I do not plan on being anything very big into changing the course of history. So I think I really don't need to know much about the Video Game, so much as to the 15th century, which I do know about.

RP Example (Add Dialogue): Coming home from a day of work at the Saw Mill, Ivar was about to turn onto the road that led to his little shack on the hill, when he heard a distant scream. Now, Ivar knew that he should be heading to his house, but his conscience wouldn't allow him. Dropping his work load, being his tools and money, onto the road, he dashed for the source of the scream. His long legs, as he was taller than most people, propelled him down the road, getting him closer and closer to the sound. Upon turning a final corner, he came upon two muggers picking on an elderly lady. Now, being simple, Ivar only knew one thing, this lady was in trouble. Taking a deep breath, he let out a shout-like bark that would even make a Pit Bull stop and think about charging.
"Hey!"
His voice carried quite clearly to the ears of all three and, turning to face him, all were equally terrified to see him. Ivar walked into the Alley, easily blocking the way out with his massively muscular bulk, his eyes trained on the Bandits. Giving them a good stare down, the two robbers seemed about to wet themselves before giving the Elderly lady enough room to escape.
"Come, Lady. Ivar get you away."
Turning sideways, letting the still shaking lady past, he turned after her and followed. He could hear the two muggers whispering behind him, hearing them plot to kill him later, but he didn't mind. He had saved this poor old lady from such a fate and that was all he wanted to be happy.

He was a normal boy, but he was tall, much taller than all of the kids his age. A business man saw this, one day, and adopted the child. The man worked on a farm and used Ivar for Labor. Now, Ivar had never gotten any schooling and only learned from experience, so he thought the man was a good father figure. This work made Ivar bigger and strong, with a healthy appetite to boot. But when Ivar became an adult at the age of 18, having worked 12 years on his Adopted Fathers farm, his "father" died in an accident with their bull.
With no one to take care of him, Ivar worked the farm on his own, until officials realized what had happened. They told Ivar that he couldn't run the farm, as it really wasn't his, and that he would have to move. So Ivar, homeless, found an abandoned shack and took to doing odd jobs in the nearby Town. A man of the earth, Ivar wasn't greedy or even jealous of anyone for their wealthy life style. He was only ever happy to help others, as that is how he was brought up.

What is Metagaming? Metagaming is the action of taking information that you know In Real Life and applying it to an Rp situation. Like calling the person you are talking to by their name when your character is only meeting them for the first time. So, basically, taking ooc information and applying it Rp'ly.
What is Powergaming? Powergaming is when you do things that your character normally can't do. Or, if in a fight, Powergaming is when you are able to dodge, deflect, and attack anything or anybody without weakness, like a god, which isn't correct Roleplay at all. ((and no, I did not Google any of these answers, I already know them))
What is Assassin's Creed? A Video game, that is all I know. I have never played this game, but I know that it doesn't take correct knowledge to roleplay as a citizen/worker in an everyday life instance.

I am searching for a server that is a Role playing server, but also allows everyone to be Mobs. I mean, like Humans and mobs living alongside each other and helping each other or fighting against one another. I have no idea if anyone has done this yet, or not, but I would greatly appreciate any news on this.
