    Nah, 1.8 was TC5.

    1.10 was TC6.

    1.12 is TC6.1

    Some 1.12 mods are still in the works, but are mostly finished for 1.10. (That's why I'm still in 1.10) 1.10 is just more stable, (I'm assuming) but by the time TC6.1 is finished, maybe less 1.12 mods will be unstable.

    @Azanor, after TC for 1.12 is finished, will you be finishing 1.10 TC?

    Although by the time 1.12 is finished, other mods might be finished too, so we'll see.

    Here's an explanation of how I automated livingrock/wood with golems and a few other mods.

    I currently have 1800+ livingrock and 2000+ livingwood, so the golems are put away for now and aren't in the photos.


    My goal for this was that I could request livingwood/rock in my me system if I needed it.


    If you have questions on how it works, just ask me.


    In short, the blocks are placed near the pure daisy, and after being transformed, are broken by the golems, which are sucked into the vacuum hopper and into the me network. This is my way of doing it.

    OT: Considering your profile pic, a trombone would be a perfect anti-zombie weapon. Attach a knife to the end of the extendable bit, and you have a telescoping spear. Just walk up to zombies and pump. Even better, you can play it too, so play some awesome zombie-killing tune and pump away.

    I know this isn't directly Thaumcraft related but I still don't understand your lag issues. 1.12 is so much less laggy than 1.10. If you aren't trying to run some huge modpack I recommend an average of around 4GB of RAM to Minecraft (leaving about the same for your PC) and reducing your Mipmap levels to zero or lowest available (this may take a moment or two to update). On top of that, set your Forge settings (hit escape > Mod Options > type "Forge" without quotes > click Minecraft Forge > click config > click Client settings > and set "Force threaded chunk rendering" to true (or false if it's already true). That should help in most situations.

    Regarding your suggestion of a casting spell. Keep in mind the magic system has been revamped again since 1.10

    Would you mind suggesting some graphics settings? I have 11.5GB RAM usable to allocate, but I have 5 allocated.
    2.4GHz. I'm also using Optifine.

    I haven't tried it in 1.12 yet because LAG...
    But try plan + break/dig/whatever-it's-called. Insanely useful. I know it works in 1.10.

    Anyway remember that beta mobs are fill of issues. Lag can be caused by mod conflicts or tick bad renderization, and not by a true memory overcharge.

    Well, most of them are small things, like a mod that turns the Elytra into a bauble.
    Very few large mods, but I guess the small ones can add up.

    Well... I allocated 6G of ram to 1.12, and it still lags like heck... it's probably a mod thing, though.
