I absolutely love this mod, it's great. I know the 1.12 version is still very much WIP, but that crash may help you avoid coding problems: The game crashed whilst ticking entity
The game crashed whilst ticking entity
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Ticking entity I've got no idea what entity does this, but I'm 100% sure it's from this mod. Everything else works fine though, and I'm looking forward to see the full version.
That's very limited info. Are you using the most recent release? I would need to see a crashlog and normal log of that session to be able to determine what's going on. The current version on its own is quite stable; so if anything crashes it is most likely due to some interaction with another mod.
Updates to older versions will not happen. Not because I do not want to, but simply because it would take too much time to backport. I MIGHT look into bugs for 1.7.10, like the one GalaxyDash posted, but no guarantees.
Otherwise, look forward to more content in the 1.12 version! Not everything has been ported just yet, but I'm getting close. It also features some new content.
Just recently started working on this again. Currently trying out some stuff. Might stabilize 1.10 release and move all new features over to 1.12.1 release, which is going pretty smoothly so far.
Thing is, I'm really fond of all this mod adds, except the special creepers. (Actually, I like the support creeper too come to think of it, just don't want the other two.)
Could the next version feature mob disabling in the configs?
Also maybe the precious pickaxe?
Thanks :3
Oh yeh sure, will do. You will also be able to disable mob griefing for the special creepers if that's what is bothering you (you should already be able to but apparently it is bugged). Precious Pickaxe will definitely make a return
@RodrigoTaipe93 What specifically would you like to see? All my mobs have been made from the ground up again and have more effecient code than ever before. Trying to fix the 1.7 code will just be messy.... although I do WANT to do it, I know I will probably have no time to do so. I hardly have any time to work on the 1.10 release as is.
Coming back to the topic of my schedule for this, I cannot tell you when the next test version will be released exactly, but my guess is somewhere in January. I recently got a new job and am getting used to this new routine and it leaves hardly any free time for me. That being said, I do have a passion for this project and would like to see it continue. More updates soon. (tm)
I actually got contacted by multiple people that wanted to take over but no-one followed up on it sadly.... even tho I gave permission. It proves this mod just takes a lot of time to develop properly. I personally have very little time as I do have a full-time job now and Atmosmobs as it was will probably not return. But I have been working on Primitive Mobs from time to time and some mobs of this mod will see a return in that mod. I already have a base for new bird AI lying around. I just cannot tell you when it will be done due to my busy routine. It's very unpredicatable, like I made 5 mobs in one week and then did not touch Minecraft for a month due to my schedule.
I do appreciate that people still want this to be a thing tho. Thanks Eightblade
O_O That poor little GroveSprite. Cool that you are working with PM in your workspace let me know if any issues pop up. Source code will be posted later as well, but by the looks of it you won't be needing any help there Amazing stuff
i have some experience building structures for mods... perhaps you could accept my help? i can send you a superflat world save or a .schematic file...
Oh thanks, I meant the world gen code around structures actually but when I need a good building I at least know who to PM now. Structures will have to wait till I updated all the mobs.

Also, if you want to use it, this is where I collect bugs/issues: https://github.com/Daveyx0/PrimitiveMobs/issues
Thanks for playing and reporting!

Awwhh yeah! My favorite mods are being updated one by one. This is glorious! Great work!
@Silentine, I've also been out of it for a long time and I did the same. Went from 1.7.10 instantly to 1.10.2.

This looks amazing. Those models are top notch! This seems like one of those must-haves when it comes out. Good luck with the development, guys!

Heya Mowzie, good to see that you are still active!

Yay! Thanks for testing! A troll will indeed be added. Not Firehazurds version though, instead my own one.
Not a bad idea, but I'm not that good with structures I would love to add new villager houses though.
Ah yes of course, at least it does not cause any major problems, but it does look strange. I think I know how to fix that Thanks for testing!
