    Roses aren't gone for good. They will be re added either in another snapshot or in 1.8. They won't spawn naturally anymore though.

    When they finally finish the mod API and implement plugins they might call that update 2.0. Considering how drastically different Minecraft would be because of it, it would make sense.

    Otherwise, expect 1.10, 1.11, 1.12, etc.

    Grumm works with the Forge community pretty closely. He even plays on their Forgecraft whitelisted server. They wont be simply adding Forge to Minecraft, the point of the API is to make something BETTER than Forge.

    We don't need horses, I don't want horses. So what? I don't care for an optional feature, it doesn't matter, cause I can avoid it by simply not taming any horses.

    Adding purely optional content wont bother my experience with the game in the slightest, and if I don't like the update at all, I wont update.

    This is really simple people, quit complaining.

    Ok, so some people have reported a 'problem' that using Biomes O'Plenty can cause biomes from some dimension mods to spawn in the overworld. I actually would really like this to happen, do you know what causes the 'problem'?

    Interestingly Enough, in Direwolf's video, he covered the difference between the tanks. Both hold the same amount of liquid (16 buckets per block), but Iron tanks counts all the side blocks as part of the storage space. A 3*3*4 XYcraft tank holds 32 buckets. A 3*3*4 Railcraft tank holds 576!


    To be specific, a Xycraft tank will always be 2*2*2 smaller than a railcraft tank, as far as calculating how many buckets it can hold. This means that I still will be using Railcraft tanks a lot. So I am no longer worried about the balance.

    Honestly, while the mod does look really cool, I share many of Nukularpower's concerns. The tanks are awesome, but they completely overshadow the tanks from rail craft. There is no benefit to using the tanks in railcraft at all.

    Maybe the Xycraft tanks could hold less for the same space, or maybe the recipe could be extremely expensive. Really, I don't see anything wrong with requiring a nether star to make a 10x10x10 tank out of whatever materials I want.

    I love this mod. The most fun I ever had in Minecraft was when my buddies and I fought a Hydra. The fight was just so freaking epic.
    There is just so much to love in this mod. Fire swamps, Lich towers, the dark forests, etc. This mod has become something that I find to be absolutely essential to the adventuring aspect of Minecraft.
    In other words, your work on this mod has made my life a little better. For that, I thank you.

    Emeralds are money, nothing else. Obsidian is extremely easy to obtain. Neither one would make for interesting tool options.
    While I wouldn't mind tools that were a step above diamond, I think they need to be much more creative than that.

    posted a message on Are mods a sign of Minecraft going bad?
    I am currently using 61 mods on my server. Not hard at all considering I use the Direwolf20 FTB modpack as a base. I, like many people who use Forge mods, love vanilla Minecraft. I love most everything added in each update. But I also want more. So much more that I couldn't possibly hope to experiance it all in 500 hours. That is what mods give me. 1000s of options, and I love it.
    My current goal in my world is to kill the Wither, not so I can build a beacon, (which is a great vanilla item), but so I can construct the Portal Gun, yes, the one from Portal, now in Minecraft.

    I love vanilla Minecraft, it is an excellent game, but as the most open sandbox game ever, having an extra 100 or so developers contributing content to my experience makes it that much more amazing. It isn't a sign that Minecraft is bad, but that it is open to let everyone experience Minecraft in a way that they want to.
