    Yay!! Thank you so much!

    I've been looking for days for a mod to change size. iChun's morph didn't fit the bill, Guliver's isn't available for newer versions, and AntMan doesn't give the level of control between sizes we needed. I've been looking all over for a mod to change physical player size.

    You might want to add words like 'change player size' or 'size change' to the details to make searching easier. I couldn't find this mod at all by searching for such words. I only found it by browsing page by page through the forums.

    posted a message on Req: Simple player size changing mod

    I've looked all over the internet but couldn't find anyone who's made a simple player size changing mod. There is Guliver's mod but it hasn't been updated in quite some time, and AntMan mod but it's size changes are specifically large jumps in sizes.

    I know iChun's morph mod lets you change size but only by turning into mobs bigger or smaller than yourself. What I am requesting here is if someone could make a mod that changes a player's physical size with their visual model and POV to match.

    It would be awesome to have players small enough to fit through 1 block tall openings, or players double the size of a normal player and anything in between. It's been proven possible it iChun's mod that it could be done. People used to turn into a bat all the time to crawl through 1 block tall openings to work on complex builds.

    If someone would design a mod that could do this please share!

    Thanks!

    Does MPM support textures using the new 'Alex' template for newer versions of minecraft now? If so do you have templates to go by? I haven't seen any new templates for figuring out where things like wings, tail, etc. are since the very early versions of MPM and doing a lot of guess work for current 'Steve' models, I don't think I'd stand a chance guessing them on the 'Alex' one if it's even supported yet.

    Thanks for the awesome mod!

    Yay! Thanks Draco. Phasestone makes fantastic doors that don't suffer the lag where pressure plate controlled doors slam in your face if the server is slightly laggy. Also the camophase stone makes wounderful hidden doors to keep rooms looking clean.

    posted a message on Immibis's Mods - Now with 85.7% less version numbers in this title!
    I'm using Minecraft 1.6.4, Forge 9.11.1.965

    Everything loads properly and the Automatic Crafting Tables work, but seemingly randomly the automatic crafting table crashes me when I try to open the GUI.

    Once I get one that crashes me, it reliably crashes me every single time until I break the block and place it again. Upon placing, the newly placed block has a random chance of being 'bad' in which it'll crash me to desktop or work normally and fine.

    If I find a pattern I'll let you know, but something is making me crash when opening it's GUI. I've been making sure to do so with an empty hand. If you want a crash dump I can provide one.

    Thanks!

    Quote from EmberedOne

    I like this idea. Maybe you have a special bar on the side of the screen, which would show your stamina, and you would run out as you flew up, and when you landed you would start to regenerate it?

    That's just an idea.

    A stamina bar like that would be great. Or possibly even plug into the one used with SmartMovement mod. However I'd need this mod to be able to work without the SmartMovement mod present.

    It may not be a perfect fit, but you should check out http://ichun.us/mods/hats/

    Ichun made a hats mod where you can get a large assortment of random hats from mobs that you wear on your avatar.

    Hope this helps.

    posted a message on Player Flight (non-creative limted non-op flight)
    There may be a handful of mods out there that offer 'flight' however either they give players creative flight, or they require players to use items such as jetpacks, magic rings, etc.

    What I would really like is a mod that offers flight to players without needing to equip any items. However the flight is less powerful than creative. The main idea of it being used for either servers where players tend to play winged creatures, or servers that want to offer flight without being over-powered.

    The main focus here is that there is no items, armour, blocks, etc. used. The flight being a natural part of the player. This would go very nicely with mods like MorePlayerModels where players have wings for example.

    I'd like it most if the mod were built for forge for easy server/client installation.

    There's a few approaches I've thought of:

    1. 'swim' in the air style: Flight works similar to the swimming mechanics for water. Player can fly up in the air by holding space, but when they let go they start to descend. Would need to be adjusted so players would drift downwards slower than people would sink in water as even for water people 'sink' in water oddly fast.

    2. 'Jetpack' style: Fly more or less like how most jetpacks work such as from Modular Powersuits or IC2. However it's built-in to the player.

    3. Drifting/Sinking creative style: Creative flight, but if a player hovers in place they start to sink/drift downwards after a few seconds and slowly keep sinking until they touch the ground.

    To make this less over-powered my thoughts were that flight requires food or stamina. Preferably configurable in some way, the server can limit how long or how far a player can fly until they run out of stamina, or simply while flying the food bar goes down at a similar rate to constantly jumping or sprinting.

    Other notes:

    -Make sure that players do not take falling damage if they were flying.
    -Could use the 'feather falling' enchantment as a base for safely disabling fall damage as well as possibly to figure out how to 'drift' down rather than fall.
    -Creative-style controls would still make the most sense for this kind of mod.
    -Allowing players to temporary hover (possibly make this a config option that can be disabled) would be nice for people doing complex builds in the air. But not let them hover forever to abuse in cases of avoiding mobs, lava, etc. by just standing in the air forever.
    -An option for a server admin to grant or revoke the ability to fly would be a nifty option. But in general just a simple server config file for basic options would be plenty.

    Please let me know your thoughts. This should hopefully be a simple mod to make, and be useful in a lot of kinds of servers.

    Hi Noppes,

    I can't find anywhere a basic template for version 1.6.2-1.6.4. I can find the very old templates for the original version of MPM but not anything for version 2.

    I just want to know where each specific region is for the character texture to make it easier to edit.
    As far as I can tell it seems to be very similar to version 1's dragon template, but I'm not sure if that's completely accurate.

    Could you please offer us a template that just shows which regions of a character texture are for what features?

    Thanks.

    I know in Minecraft 1.8 there's a new skin system, but I and friends are still playing on Minecraft 1.6.4.
    I'm uploading my character skins to minecraft.net under the profile section and it says the upload is successful, but none of my edits are appearing.

    My previous skin upload I made over a month ago is appearing just fine, but I can't seem to change it to anything else.

    Is the skin server just not accepting skins at the moment? or is uploading skins for pre 1.7 now broken?

    Quote from MRH

    For your Information.
    There is a bug with the current Version of this Mod.
    It seems like asiekierka missed one line when he coppied his Code.

    I made a fix for that. So if you have problems sending items from Server to server use this Version.

    I don't take any credits for this. I simply changed one line of Code.

    I already posted a PullRequest for that bug on GitHub.

    Thanks! I'll try it out when I'm able to. Also thanks for posting a PullRequest on it too.

    I'm and a friend's server is having trouble getting this to work as well. There are two minecraft servers running on the same physical server, each assigned their own port and name.

    Below is the config settings (in spoiler tags to avoid a huge post)

    (showing only noteable config settings)

    Server 1:
    S:blacklistedItems=
    B:blacklistedItemsAsWhiteList=false
    S:globalPermissions=
    B:httpServerEnabled=true
    I:httpServerPort=21500
    B:randomHTTPPort=false
    B:receiveFromDefinedOnly=true
    B:transmitToDefinedOnly=true
    S:undefinedReceivePermissions=

    servers {
    S:MC2=192.168.1.10:21501
    }

    JSON file:

    [
    {
    "name": "MC2",
    "address": "192.168.1.10:21501",
    "permissions": [
    "all"
    ]
    }
    ]

    Sever 2:

    S:blacklistedItems=
    B:blacklistedItemsAsWhiteList=false
    S:globalPermissions=
    B:httpServerEnabled=true
    I:httpServerPort=21501
    B:randomHTTPPort=false
    B:receiveFromDefinedOnly=true
    B:transmitToDefinedOnly=true
    S:undefinedReceivePermissions=

    servers {
    S:MC1=192.168.1.10:21500
    }

    JSON file:

    [
    {
    "name": "MC1",
    "address": "192.168.1.10:21500",
    "permissions": [
    "all"
    ]
    }
    ]

    When items are put in, the progress bar gets to 100% and the particle effect appears, but the item never goes anywhere.
    Likewise redstone signals and otherwise do not go anywhere.

    In the transmitter I typed in MC2.3 (the receiver in server 2 has the ID of '3')

    I also tried direct IP method, but direct IP only gets to 3% progress then turns red. I can't find a config option to allow/disallow direct IP entry.

    Is there something I'm missing to get this to work? Both servers have the same version of the mod installed. Version RC1.

    Thanks in advance. This will be an awesome mod!

    Has anyone had any luck resolving the conflict between More Player Models 2 and iChun's morph when it comes to trying to use Point of View in MPM2?

    If anyone knows how to get the two mods to play nicely I'd love to know it. Thanks.

    Hi Chickenbones,

    I see you released the Translocator mod offically now but I only see a 1.5 build. By any chance could you compile the 1.4.7 version as well? I've been using version 1.0.0.2 on my server with FTB Ultimate and love the mod but I'm still stuck in 1.4.7 land till other mods catch up to 1.5.

    Thanks in advance if you're willing to do so.
