This is to all of the Persona fans out there who's hoping to be able to use personas in teh world of Minecraft. I was gonna work on it myself but unfortunately it takes forever to learn javascripts and I do not have a pc strong enough for a modelling software T.T So let's get started with this skfhurhfhfjcbfnfb
To all of you who doesn't know what the fudge am I talking aboot, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona is a spin-off series of the famous Shin Megami Tensei franchise by Atlus. Its trademark features include a high school setting, a group of students as the protagonists, a silent protagonist similar to the mainline Megami Tensei franchise, and combat using Personas. Since the release of Persona 3 in 2006, the main series has used a social simulation function called Social Links, which is directly linked to how Personas evolve. The series takes its title from beings summoned by characters in battle, manifesting from their personality.
However, I want none of that high school social link crap in this mod since there's no such thing as high school or friends in minecraft. So imma improvise. In this mod, you will not have a persona at the start of the game. To get a persona, you'll have to kill any hostile mob in the game, after you kill them they will drop a card. Upon picking up the card and selecting it from your inventory as an item to hold, a "reveal" gui will appear at the center above the hotbar. By tapping the gui, the message "You got a [card name]" will appear and the card will turn into either a persona card (common) which you could equip as your persona, or a life card (rare) which will restore your hearts to the max and cures all negative ailments. Or lastly, a penalty card (rare) which causes you to lose 3 hearts or get a certain ailment such as poison, mining fatigue, slowness, or hunger. (note: you are unable to break blocks while holding the cards. The cards will not stack and both life and penalty card will disappear after being revealed.)
The Persona Equipping System:
Upon spawning in a world, a small gui labeled "persona" will appear at the upper right of your hotbar, and an sp indicator will appear right above it. The "persona" gui does nothing unless you have a persona equipped, in which the persona (custom modelled mob) you've equipped will appear above you. You could equip a persona by simply tap and hold the persona card till it breaks and the message "you have equipped [name of the persona]." (note: you can only equip one persona at a time and it will automatically replace any persona you've previously equipped. The persona who have been replaced will be gone forever so you'll have to make your decision wisely. To unsummon a persona, simply tap on the "persona" gui again and the persona will disappear.)
The Persona Combat System:
After you equip a persona, a cursor will appear at the center of the screen and a "skill" gui will appear at the left side of the "persona" gui. Upon pressing the gui a list of skills in which the equipped persona posses will show. To use a skill on a target simply aim the cursor at your target and tap on the skill you want to apply on your target. (note: all skills consume sp points and some skills can be used to benefit the user.)
*IMPORTANT*: pm me if ur interested to work on this mod, I can help you with the textures and concepts of the personas.
Is it possible to model 3d items for mcpe 0.16.0? If it is can you show me the way to do it? It is very important for an upcoming mod I'm planning to make
So um...the title explains everything. How do I replace textures in a .modpkg file? I tried to rename the modpkg into a zip file and extract it.Then I renamed the texture I wanna replace to the texture I'm gonna replace (for example the original name of the texture is sword.png and I renamed the texture I'm gonna replace into sword.png) and overwrite the original textures with mine. Then I convert the mod into a zip file then renamed it back into a .modpkg.But then when I use the mod in mcpe the texture does not change into the one I replace and it remains the same as the original. So then I thought maybe I should delete and reinstall the mod but then the mod didn't work at all after I did it.Is there something I did wrong?
I don't know if your gonna answer this but its been like so long since iv'e played this mod but i remember this was an amazing mod and it reminds me why mods are so good and if you have made a 0.13.1 version for it that would be great but if not well that's a shame i had high hopes for this mod but yeah
Unfortunately Netherher0brine gave up on this mod...But the good news is he's working on a pc version of this mod!!! feel free to check it out when it's done
