Don't listen to people who say that, the ores look fine. I only wish they had an HD texture pack because I hate Notch's vanilla textures... If someone would like to make me a compatibility thing for LB Photo Realism 128x that would be very greatly appreciated...

I am pretty sure that they would need the rights to edit LBs pack.

Everything seems to be working fine now, thanks. Will I have a problem if I run Rei's minimap with this? Also I heard that this mod has problems with optifine, is that still true? And lastly what would happen if I ran a texture pack like sphax or faithful with this mod? Sorry for all the questions but I really want to play with this this mod on and not have to change my game up too much.

No, No issues with Rei's Minimap

Optifine does have some issues, I think if you use 'B3' It is fine though ( DO NOT hold me to it, I dont use Optifine, Nor do i pay attention to its compatibility with other mods.)

No, Should be no issues with Any TP. (If you mean Gerudoku Faithful, Then no, There is definitly no issues, I use Gerudokus.)
    Quote from Vixx

I found an issue: I mined something invisible, and the mined thing appears invisible, too, without name.

Also, all my bronze Armors disappeared, but i think it's due to the new release.

Okay, So i cannot figure out how to get TMI working with this mod. It only never works when i use this mod, And i have no idea why, I will gladly ditch TMI for this mod, But doesn't mean i'll like it =P Let me know if you know why it is giving me this report. Otherwise, I'ma go slit my wrists in the corner of a cave somewhere and deal with it.

This is part of the plan, that you'll be able to configure by ID which dimensions the ores can spawn on eventually.

Part of this is due to Ourea, which will allow players to spawn Fantasy Metals there and leave the real world to the rest.

Do all the ores spawn in Twilight Forest?

I'd love to see this fully supported (Except customizable, Cause personally, I'd use all the ores in twilight.)

Excellent. We'll probably install it later today and see if it's compatible with the twilight forest mod.... If we can get the silly thing to work right .

I haven't heard that it would be Incompatible, I dont know if it'll spawn the ores in the Twilight forest dimension though =\

Shadowclaimer, is the intention for all ores to spawn literally anywhere or is that just something that'll be temporary during this beta phase?

I honestly don't like the idea of even the rarest of ores just popping up anywhere - it doesn't make sense from a gameplay standpoint (the best materials should require effort to find), nor does it make sense from a "lore" standpoint (a rare mineral wouldn't likely spawn anywhere in the world, just like you'd almost never find diamonds just sitting on the surface of Earth.)

Additionally, if some ores were located only in specific biomes, it would make it easier for players to locate a specific ore they want or need more of. The most basic ores - like coal, copper, zinc, tin, etc - should definitely be easily found and widely available. As you work your way down the tech tree, the ores are more difficult to find; maybe they only appear in specific biomes, or at specific depths. I'd love to be able to have a certain ore spawn only at, say, like Y > 90 or something like that, but default terrain generation very rarely produces terrain with that height with any kind of frequency.

Also, is it possible to have the game replace blocks with another block type as part of normal terrain generation? Like, let's say there was a utility ore that rewarded flint (not that flint is hard to get, but just go with it.) Could the game be configured so that it would randomly replace gravel blocks (or more correctly, blocks that WOULD HAVE been gravel) with the ore blocks? That would allow all kinds of interesting possibilities for ore generation :)

I like this, I hate running into gravel >_>.

    No, thats the nether.

    THIS png is the Either:

    Great ideas Natter!
For the Over I think it would be awesome to have these deer with warm brown fuzzy fur with big golden horns, and little green turkeys with golden feathers here and there :D

And then have little groups of raccoons come out from the Under every now and then to try and kill some animals or players (hey, it might sound unrealistic but they live in the Under so I really don't see a way they shouldn't kill things)

And then with your skeleton idea, we could make them dark blackish-purple bones and pitch black eyes and black particles following them around, creating more Feugh.

And we could have Skeletons with Scythes, Skeletons with Crossbows, and Skeletons riding on Nightmares (a nightmare is a mythical black horse with fire instead of fur, but I guess scince it is constantly creating Feugh fire couldn't exist, so it'll just have MORE BLACK PARTICALES XD) with awesome Swords! And we could have Skeletal Hounds. With more black particles and they hunt in packs.

And instead of Amber Ore, how about we call it Ember Ore? It would glow a little bit.

Oh and for a story, how about this:

There was a world like no other. Amazing jungles with teeming wildlife, underground caverns with powerful enemies. Lush ocean life and massive civilizations, of two species: The Ah'kNar and the Ih'kDrak. The Ah'kNar were peaceful and wanted to protect all the animals from the Ih'kDrak, who are terribly blinded by power and wanted to take over the world. They build factories and huge armies, yet the Ah'kNar used magic to fend them off. The Ih'kDrak were confused as to what they needed. But when a young Ih'kDrak scientist was thinking about the power of the Star, Ebei, he wend to the head researchers and told them they could use the power of the Ebei to defeat the Ah'kNar. But after trying to absord a huge portion of the Ebei's energy, it lost some of it's power and the world was pulled much closer and orbited too fast. The huge planet slammed into a terrible realm called the "Nether" and the aftershock caused the device harvesting the sun to go into overdrive, and the Ebei exploded in a sea of flames. The Nether had formed a mysterious new gas called the Feugh, and infected most of the planet. The power of the Ebei fell in dust to the ground, and now with the sections of Feugh and Ebeigh there had formed the Underwurld and the Overwurld. The Ah'kNar were mostly safe from the Feugh, and spread to live in the light and lush Overwurld. The Ih'kNar suffered a different fate. Their bodies were destroyed, and their charred bones were reanimated by the Ununpentium in the Feugh to become Skeletal warriors, killing any living thing in sight with powerful dark weapons. They could not enter the Overwurld for too long though, because the Ebeigh would destroy the Feugh by outnumbering it. As for the Ebei, it formed two new stars, orbiting each other, the Abei and the Ibei. The world was too far away though, so the only source of light was the Ebeigh.

Yea i figured that wasn't the PNG, But it was all i remembered, I forgot about this one, And Wait.. Great ideas ... Natter? XD I thought i was Darth_Swiss.

As for Neutral mobs, I am drawin a blank atm, Typed this last, I've already been sitting here for 30 mins thinkin stuff out xD Cant really come up with much more. I mean, Could always do a cow, but customize it to a sense, Such as, Making it more lively, Have plants growing off their back, Could make them giant cows. Who knows, But Cows/Pigs, They are the same as usual, Just didn't want to spout uncreative ideas.

Skeleton idea, Is easy to branch out on, For boss mobs that is.

-Skeleton mage (Shooting something that looks magicy =P)
    -Skeleton Necromancer(Summons skeletons)
-Corrupt Skeleton warrior ( A Skeleton exposed to too much Ununpentium, Now glowing, Like he was exposed to radiation, And with a much better lookin scythe then the regular skeleton warriors.)

Yea, I didn't know how the Nightmares woulda been done, But ya never know what kinda magic Natter can work =P

Ores, Are and probly never will be, My thing, I just draw blanks when i try to think of ore names. Instead of Normal Diamond that the overworld has, Have Green diamond for Over and Black diamond for Under. Live Iron for Over, Blackened Iron for under, Idk, Just not my thing xD

If that is the story, Then, The name for the lighter wood, Could be, Satinwood, Taking a realistic name, For something a bit more imaginative Brightwood or Narwood (Named after the Ah'kNar)

Darker wood? Rosewood (Taking a more realistic name) or Deadwood, And have the leaves look blackish as if it is dying.
