People will ignore this post if there aren't visible pics (by visible I mean that they don't have to download anything). Trust me.

I had several games downloaded from Steam of on computer then I switched computers, logged on to Steam and technically "had" them but they weren't installed. I think.

    1. Because if you're a builder you likely have access to all blocks already, either through mods or creative mode. And if you're trying to build legitimately, that should involve fighting off mobs as well. Otherwise it isn't very legitimate, is it?
    2. If you're getting swords, then you like combat, and thus don't need this feature in the first place.
    3. Some people complain that ores are too common nowadays, you know. I'm not just some off-the-chart anomaly in the statistics.
    4. Armor has the same response as swords.

I like the first quote from your signature...

No, not really...like I said, if you don't like mobs you're are most likely a builder, and thus have access to plenty of blocks in one way or another. Playing legitimately means you fight the mobs as well, it doesn't mean you turn on peaceful and automatically get 10000 cobblestone to smelt with a fortune+unbreaking diamond pickaxe.

Why wouldn't you use XP to get efficiency enchantments? Besides, to get the good swords you like to enchant it would be nice to have a better chance of getting more of the ores required!

    Same goes with armor.

And why should XP reward those that don't fight?
Do people who do as you say actually use or require the XP? No, if they're building (the logical reason why they aren't fighting anything) then they have absolutely no need for XP. Did they earn it if they just mining things and getting XP? No. All they did was dig, they didn't actually do any real work at all. No, don't say mining is hard, because it isn't; it's the threat of mobs coming after you from behind that is the real danger while mining.

Since the only real danger in the game is from mobs, I think it makes perfect sense to reward those who kill them. It makes no sense to reward people from punching blocks.
Despite mining being the games really basic purpose, gaining XP from it is not the way to go.

You know you could enchant your mining gear to right? That's a good use of EXP from and for mining.

Would it be possible to change the jar on the menu screen? Since the jar is being used I'm not sure, but it would be helpful, otherwise it's not a big improvement, if I have to close to change jar.

I am constantly switching jars for testing my own server, and playing others, I have 4 jars I use regularly.

What I'm saying is it doesn't load the default .jar until you click on single player or multiplayer. That's why I'm saying (now at least) that it's an extended launcher.

So, I'm sure we've all had this problem before. You have some really cool mod that you want to play but it isn't compatible with some of the other mods that you have. Or maybe you don't wan't to be temped to cheat on a world that you PROMISED yourself you wouldn't cheat on. Anyway you get my point, but the thing is my idea would fix those problems.
So what this mod/tool would do is, essentially, extend the launcher to allow you to switch .jar files. When you click "Login" in the Minecraft launcher it loads what looks like a normal main menu but what it really is, is an extended version of the launcher. By default when you go to single player or multiplayer it would load your main .jar. However if you click on the new option at the bottom it will allow you to go and select a DIFFERENT .jar file to run Minecraft off of. Simple!

posted a message on Under Sea Worlds
I've seen mod ideas similar to this one and I have always liked them but I think it's time I posted the idea with my own personal touches to make it even better. The mod would include new underwater generation (Atlantis, cities, towns, ruins, etc.), clear water, NPCs, new vehicles, new tools, new weapons, new armor, and more!

    Terrain Generation:
The underwater terrain generation would be similar to that of the DynamicHeight Mod with random generation of things like Atlantis, underwater cities made of new and strange materials, ruins, and giant under-sea caves. There would also be huge underwater coral reefs The water here would be clear so you could actually see where you were going.

    NPCs:
There would be NPCs that inhabit the cities and towns (and Atlantis!). Some of them would be like mermaid people, fish people, shark people, squid people, or just normal humans in diving gear. They would swim around there cities/towns and would act similar to the NPCs in the Melinaire mod where you could trade with them and you could create relations with the town.
In addition to the smart NPCs there would also be animals under the ocean. Some of them could be more of legendary creatures than real ones. And others could be like the aquatic animals from the Mo'Creaturs Mod. Also there would be sea turtles! you would be able to make a special saddle for them and ride them under water!

    Vehicles:
There would be the vehicles that divers sometimes use to move quicker underwater. There would also be various sizes of submarines that you could pilot, store thins in, and explore with. You could also outfit them with various weapons like torpedo cannons and harpoon guns. Sea Turtles(look at NPCs)!!

    Tools:
There would be new tool sets similar to the ones for above ground except these work with normal tool efficiency but under water. They could be made out of things like coral, new under-sea stone types, and rare under water gems.

    Weapons:
For under-water weaponry there would be, like above, torpedo cannons and harpoon guns in addition to other various sword types that work well under-water. There could also be forms of under-water TNT that would actually destroy blocks while submerged in water that could be crafted into mines of some sort.

    Armor:
The new armor would be almost exactly the same as normal armor but made from under-water materials instead. All of them would also increase your ability to breath under-water for longer, one of them would even be scuba gear! Like above the ocean, there are many materials at hand to craft things like tools, weapons, and armor. Things like fish scales, fibers from plants, new underwater ores, etc. that could all be made into useful things. There could also be some magical VERY, VERY (x10) rare that would allow you to breath under water infinitely and and give you the protection of mid to high grade armor.

Well, that's my idea and if you have any constructive criticism for me PLEASE post it here. If you are a modder and are interested in making this mod then PM me and we could talk!

    THANKS FOR READING!
