    Minecraft version: 1.10.2 (Also seen this on 1.12.2)

    Xaero Minimap version 1.14.8_Forge_1.10.2


    The mod works just fine, this is more annoyance than anything. Same world, same server, same map name. Nothing is changed. Every now and then I'll login and find no waypoints. I open the GUI and find that the waypoints are stored on Overworld 1 but the game is now using Overworld 2. Is there a way to stop it from doing this?

    Sheesh! Give the guy a break. He does this on his own dime and time. I've been waiting on fly myself and the coords, but mostly fly. The server I play on has been waiting on me to update to 1.12, which I told them i would do when my fly mod was ready. I don't beg, or post little comments about when or I wish. You wanna post something? How about "Thanks, AmbientOcclusion for this mod, that I really enjoy using." Stop trying to pressure him into an update. He'll give us the update(s) when he can or wants, not when we badger him into submission.

    Open firefox, depending on how you have your firefox set up, there should be a menu of options either to the right or just under the address bar, look for an arrow pointing down, click it, that is your download list. Each time you close your browser, this list will clear, so click on Show all Downloads and it'll open your saved folder. Find the fine you're looking for and double click it to run it.

    I have another beta ready: version 54.


    This version supports all versions of Minecraft from 1.6.4 up to 1.12


    I consider this version stable and simply want beta testers before I officially release it. I'll be addressing any bugs or crashes found in this version aggressively. Once again, this only includes XRay. Coordinates and Fly will be released separately at a later time.

    Something you might consider, you may want to update the first post to show version 48 with a download link as the latest stable version. You haven't edited that since Nov, 2016. People are likely thinking a creeper blew you and your computer up.

    There are different configurations, for example, under the default settings, you have Xray, Cave Finder and Redstone. So first, decide which one you want this oreQuartz to fall under. Then you add a line like this "tile.oreQuartz": true, Save the file, fire up Minecraft and activate the configuration you put it under. It 'should' work. You can also type in the letter J I think is default and it brings up the config file for Xray. I can't recall if you can add in ores and what not directly, but you can change like the text in the upper left of your screen with it.

    Only issues that I have and I'm not ruling out my computer on this, is that every now and then, after I attempt to start the minecraft launcher, (new version) I get nothing. I have to bring up task manager, end both instances of MinecraftLauncher.exe and javaw.exe and try again. Most times the second attempt is good. A few times it took 3 tries to get it.. Otherwise, no glitches or hitches during gameplay.

    Hey... how come you haven't updated to 1.11.2? Are you doing stuff like school, spending time with a friend/lover/spouse, maybe working?! HOW DARE YOU! My game needs a mod and you are selfish for not thinking of my game first! AND THEN... you have the audacity to post an update on the previous page, which is then LINKED by a few others on this page! You sir are a disgrace to modded minecraft. I demand a refund, an apology, and I'm going to start a class action lawsuit against you for not taking care of MY GAME. It has caused me major emotional distress, time lost, and I even missed work so they wouldn't see me cry! Now update my GAME or else..... This is your final warning!

    Read this tutorial http://minecraftxray.net/configuration.html


    It explains what is displayed and what you can do with the file. Take it from someone who goofed this up, copy what's in there first and put it in a text file someplace. This way if you mess up, you can at least back it up. On mine, you would see this:

    X: 157
    Y: 60

    Z: 232


    Fly on or off. If off, it's blank
    Light: 13 sky, 12 block

    I put out a preview release here a few pages back. Just remember it's an early beta.

    Been using it a couple of days now, I can't find any glitches or bugs in it. Well, except for one thing, it never gives me any diamonds when I land on the ground, it should give me diamonds! <insert whiny whine here>

    Putting the finishing touches on 1.11.1 and 1.11.2. Also working on the modpack compatibility issues people have been experiencing. One or two more days!

    Question or Bug?



    While in flight, if I see a target at my 12:00 position, fly level with it (think of being in a cavern) and fire with a bow at the target, it shoots straight down. To hit the target, or at least come close, I have to aim 15-20 degrees over the target's head. Then I might hit it. I remember this being a problem before, but it seems as though you had fixed it. Is this something I'm doing wrong, or perhaps a bug?


    Any way to avoid taking damage when you double tap the space bar while falling?

    Same here. Each and every time, I have to open the GUI and uncheck both options, then recheck them to activate fly. I tried deleting the JSON file. That didn't work. Another thing it'll do, it'll create an option in the controls for a binding key. It's blank by default. If I assign a key, then tapping that key sends me flying even if I have double jump set.

    Not to be a pain, any chance in the next release you can set it so you can bind it to a key, then double jump to fly? Like it was back in the 1.8.0 release. It always told me when it activated and I didn't take damage for activating fly when falling off a ledge.

    Full light, coords, and fly. The X-ray is great for finding redstone problems, and of course seeing whether it is day or night when you're underground.


    I have a request. AmbientOcclusion, I appreciate your hard work. I thank you for creating and maintaining this mod. I would really love it if we could turn fly on using a key, then double tap the space bar to start flying. Double tap again to stop, yet fly stays on so we don't get fall damage. Basically the way it was. I wouldn't update for a long time because I really dislike this press one key to start flying.



    Regardless, you still have my thanks.
