There literally is a Steampunk texture pack. Did you even look in the store?

I have looked at the wiki again, and it seems like this is buggy behavior. I've just been dealing with it this whole time.

That post doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Have you thoroughly read the rules and everything? I also need to know your gamertag (case-sensitive) before I can do anything.

posted a message on Is there a way to bulk-trade with villagers instead of having to mash A? (Controller)

I play on Xbox. Is there a way to trade as many items at once as the villager will allow in one go instead of having to mash the button until the trade breaks? I have 30 stonemasons in my cave that I trade stone and other blocks to, and it would have me heaps of time if I could just bulk sell instead of mashing A 5 times apiece on them.

I am an xbox player and don't tend to use discord for most of my communications, but I'm going to leave a link here that details my realm if you're interested.

posted a message on Very small Xbox realm looking for more players (ADULTS ONLY)

I am a member of a realm that only has a couple of people on it currently, and we're looking to round up some more people to add some consistent activity. Right now I'm the one doing 80% of the work, and am the only person with a large build, but when the nether update drops I expect activity to pick up.

I have a village with over 40 villagers (probably closer to 50) in it, and we have librarians covering almost all of the big books including mending. We also have a tool smith, weapon smith and armor smith for everything you can make out of diamond, so you can get started with endgame gear very quickly.

We have covered a very large area in the end and can distribute a few shulker boxes to each new server member, so long as they don't just show up a couple times then never log on again, and have shown they are capable of not dying frequently and risking losing it. We have a direct route to the Nether Fortress and are trying to not load any more chunks in the Nether to try to preserve as much of it as possible for the Nether Update in case they don't give us the Reset Nether button back.

This is a realm with only generally quiet and mature adult players. We don't mind bringing people in that have more outgoing personalities, but just be wary that consistently loud people (or people that don't have good mic etiquette) will eventually be removed.

We would prefer only Xbox players, but we will accept anyone that fits in. The basic rules of any realm apply: No griefing, pranking, duping, stealing, build-encroaching or other destructive or inconsiderate behavior will be tolerated.

    Special Rules:

    The Nether Rule:

Do not explore the nether. If you need help finding the fortress so you can collect blocks/skulls/whatever, let someone else know so we can guide you there without loading any new chunks.

    The Ranger Rule:

Be reasonable and respectful when you collect resources. If you are going to mine a 100x100 area in a desert of all sand and sandstone, if it is anywhere near the hub or anyone else, you'd better put a band-aid layer on the top so it's not an eyesore. We don't care so much if it's 5,000 blocks away from everyone. The same goes for simpler things like mining out trees and leaving ugly block ladders everywhere. Preserve your environment as much as possible.

    The Lag Rule:

Nobody is allowed to build or compile things that will cause massive amounts of lag to the server. This includes but is not limited to absurd amounts of mobs, large automatic overkill redstone machines, and color-strobing beacons.

Leave a post here if you are interested.

I'm part of a realm that really only has me and occasionally one other user on it right now, but I'd imagine it will pick up when the nether update comes out, and I'm starting to look for more people, which is why I'm here. Let me know if you're interested.

We especially need the ability to turn off beacon particles. They're incredibly intrusive and annoying. If you need to see if you have beacon effects on, that's literally what the buffs panel is for.

posted a message on We need some kind of Roomba pet

Imagine how great the game would be if we could build some kind of Roomba-like robot pet that would follow you around and slurp up all of the drops, with a full chest of inventory space? Or have it where you can put it on "roam mode" and tether it to a post so it acts like an area-of-effect collector? You could easily make it customizable as well by allowing players to dye it and perhaps have different shapes available, like circular, boxy, triangular, etc. Maybe you could have it change its appearance based on an applied banner, so banners also get a new purpose?

I would personally be able to use a small army of these behind or below me when I'm working on a cave build or mining for resources. It would just be the most useful pet by far to have anyway.

posted a message on Lost Minecraft World - Devastated Child!

To get back into the nether, he would need to build another nether portal just to get back in there, which would mean either obtaining enough iron to make buckets and create another portal one block at a time by making water touch lava for obsidian in the correct places, or get another diamond pickaxe and collect the obsidian again from a natural source.

At this point, your fastest option to get him back to his stuff is to create a copy of the world, load it in creative mode, and use creative mode to create a new portal, enter the nether, and look for the old portal using flight.

By making a copy of the world before you load it in creative, you can keep the survivial one intact once you can get the coordinates from the creative copy.

He did not lose his world, from what you've been saying, he just doesn't remember where his stuff is. This is a good learning experience for him to make notes somewhere on where his home coordinates are and/or to make a safe bed setup.

As for finding his home, do you know if he has found the end fortress in the overworld or explored much of the nether yet? If he has, maybe he could start from scratch up to the point where he can get into the nether and find his home portal there, since the nether is a much smaller area to cover while looking for landmarks. If that fails and he has found the end fortress once already, he could try making at least one eye of ender and throwing it repeatedly to navigate back to the fortress, at which point he will hopefully remember where he is and know his way back home.

If you want a villager to be locked into their profession, trade with them once when they are the one you want. After the first trade, they can no longer change.

posted a message on Mature Minecrafter looking for a home

The realm I'm a part of is VERY small (only me and one other person are on it with any consistency), but when the nether update hits I expect it to pick up at least a little bit. Basically all of the building has gone into my massive cave (40 block ceilings, floor level at y6, domed village with over 50 villagers in it at last count, etc) so far.

If you're looking for a very laid-back server, ours is it. If you want to join it, send a message to me and I'll get you an invite link from the realm owner.
