I am trying to host a modded Minecraft 1.12.2 server on an old PC of mine, and with the amount of mods, it doesn't launch on the prededicated 256mb of RAM, and I've followed tutorials on dedicating more, but unless I only dedicate one gigabyte it refuses to launch. One gigabyte allows for me to join, but closes after a couple of minutes. The command prompt opens and closes quickly, and I have no time to read any potential error messages. I've spent a good two hours last night trying to fix it, and I know it's not an issue with a lack of RAM, as I'm only trying to dedicate 4 of 8GB installed in the system.
