Did you make the classic version's custom sky texture? I keep seeing it in packs and I'm looking for the creator of it and the original pack containing it.

Thank you so much I have been looking for how to do that in all the wrong places.

I do fully intend to get the pack working as soon as I can, most of the problem has been procrastination whenever I have had time, however right now I am actually very busy, so in the meantime If anyone wants to add to the pack, feel free to make textures and post them here, Mob and animated textures would be most useful however item and block textures are also needed, when I have time I will be making new textures and compiling anything made for the pack.

I just read the Minecraft Forum Archive Announcement, so I'm going to need to find a new place for the pack,

I'll probably try putting it on Planet Minecraft but they kicked it off last time I tried,

so that may not be the best place for it, if anyone has a suggestion it would be most appreciated.

Edit: I could also do curse forge, seems a bit weird though.

    To Dangeresque486:

Don't know about how Bedrock use these textures, but I can tell you some texture packs from java edition has made it on on bedrock with no issue! Here are some:

    - Faithful

    - JSC John Smith

    - Chroma Hills

    - PureBDcraft

I think they either ported all of the textures over manually, or they used a converter. Maybe try both ways and see which works best. You can also ask creators who has successfully ported their texture packs (such as those I listed above) for help? Good luck! 😁

Had a look around, I did find a converter but its outdated,

I'll probably try messing around with it but I doubt It'll turn out well,

If it does I can't really put it on the in-game store, nor would I want to, the pack is free it always has been and always will be,

I don't think there is a way for me to put it on the in-game store without it being put up for a price,

how I see the bedrock edition is merely a way for Microsoft to monetize others creativity, and I will not be a part of that.

Edit: if I can put it on the in-game store in a way which will keep it free for everyone I will do it,

but otherwise I will never attempt to get it on there.

Hey. Any chances of bringing this to the Bedrock Edition?

Not likely, unless Microsoft and Mojang have completely changed how that version uses textures, I really can't do much, I tried awhile back and what I got was a jumbled mess, it looked terrible, the only positive thing I found was that bedrock edition was running better on my PC than the java version, but no mods and no custom resource packs was kind of a deal breaker for me, so I stick with the Java version.

A few things have come up so progress on the pack is extremely slow, almost nonexistent,

I usually just tinker with it in my free time, but if anyone wants to add to it, feel free to do so,

I'll upload the most up to date version I have,

it's just the Gerudoku Faithful version so far, and its very broken at the moment,

I will continue to work on it when I can but it will take me awhile.

So I managed to get rid of biome coloring on the sugar canes and got the lily pad 3D model working,

but I can't get rid of the water biome color, anyone know how to do that?

Looks like the SummerFields pack, the website seems to be the place to get the most up to date version.

I'll get everything together, I was already working on some stuff since I've got a bit of spare time, I'll try to get both packs working for the latest version.

I don't want to rush you, so take your time with the pack, remaking the older textures is just as important as the new textures.

Your character design for your webcomic looks fantastic,

your shameless self promotion has worked, I now eagerly await your webcomic.

That makes sense with what I've just seen, I just got the particles working, but the grass, dirt and stone textures are all being randomly rotated, the water is a strange color, and the horse texture needs to be adjusted, I'm not too busy at the moment so I'll see what I can do to get it all working, though I don't think I'll be able to fix the water color without completely destroying biome water color.

Edit: here are the fixed particles

Edit2: The horse texture is worse than I originally thought, parts weren't just moved around they have also been resized, I don't think I can fix the water color at all since I can't find where its being handled, hopefully optifine will have an option to disable it.

Edit3: I've got most things working in Gerudoku Faithful but the horses are still messed up, the water is still weird, but everything else seems to be working, I'll link the working version but I'd recommend waiting for Barytyrannus to finish updating everything to 1.13.

Indeed, but the problems also occur on Gerudoku Faithful, I just got a message from HPsaucey, he encountered an issue where some of the particles were messed up and the horse texture is completely mangled, so I decided to have a look and I all the problems, not sure what is happening exactly but it looks like Mojang broke stuff again.

well crap... that is going to take awhile for me to fix, I'll work on that soon,

just going to wait till a few more snapshots come out before I rename anything just in case they rename stuff again.

It may just be some sort of bug or a change in the resource pack format,

if it isn't then I'll just have to break minecraft and put the pack in forcefully.

Thank you, I will look into that as soon as I can, and hopefully I'll be able to make or edit mob models.
