Don't overreact its just red glass based on red sand, I don't think they'll add blue, green or yellow sand too. So this isn't colored glass, just red-ish one. Don't create false hopes on people that will later be disappointed.
There is a bug : we can't change the potion aid key . When we change in the option menu it work but after, when we reload the game it come back to the "v" key :/
Are you doing it while playing? I think it's known (at least I think I read that in the first post) that key changes in controls menu won't save while playing multiplayer.
BEFORE YOU READ REMEMBER: Mojang has no obligation AT ALL to share snapshots or test versions with us, we should thank they give us the chance to do it, they didnt before. So don't complain about it, be happy they still didn't change their minds, and also that they keep updating the game, 'cause they don't have to do that forever if they don't want to.
"The changelog for todays snapshot is that it won't be today! .. or this week. The new network code is not remotely doing what we want yet"
So before you make 20 threads about this, that's when and why. We probably won't be seeing the snapshot until next week, and that if they can fix the new network code to make it work fine enough to actually make people try it. Because otherwise it would be a chaos for minecraft worlds and for those who enjoy playing minecraft servers with the latest versions.
So just sit down and wait patiently for 13w41a, who knows it may come before next Thursday but don't hold your hopes too high.
Could you make this mod works with Liteloader, because he is not compatible with liteloader
First of all, "it", not "he", but also, I have this mod and liteloader because I use macro/keybind, and it works perfectly, I think the problem is with your configuration, your installation or mods, but not this one.
Well maps are worlds anyway. But I'm not asking if there is, but if it's possible to modify externally certain data, for example making a tool to convert all the old item IDs on your map's command blocks for the new string IDs automatically.
What do I mean? I've seen tools able to change gamemode and clear your inventory. Now what I'm asking is if there's a way to change specific information inside a map using a fanmade tool. Some kind of "save editor" but not necessarily modifying everything.
I'd like to know if someone has any idea about what kind of things can be changed externally.
Don't rush, it takes the very least 2 months after the first snapshot before they release the version, so we have, if very very lucky, one more month before it comes out. But no one said we are so lucky so don't wait in front of the computer.
I've never heard of this issue before so I have a few questions:
1) Is this the only mod you have installed? If not, try doing it with only this installed.
2) Are you able to successfully change other settings for other parts of the mod, and have them persist after restarting the game? If so, could you make a list of specific settings that aren't saved so I can look further into this?
Also, any settings you change won't be saved unless you click the big Save button in the options menu. If you press Esc then they will work until you restart the game.
Settings are saved, I even checked that on the config file, I tried with only this mod, and as far as I can see, I can't see any icon for anything. It's like if the option was set to false because there are no visible icons. That trying it with the latest version of forge and 1.6.4. All other mods I've tried seem to work, including animal info, safe overlay, basic info like clock, coordinates, and all that. DurabilityInfo is the only one not working for me.
Well my durability info seems to work fine showing stuff, problem is, I don't seem to be able to change any config. Tried relocating the icons, tried disabling the armor info, nothing changes, no matter if I do it on singleplayer, multiplayer or even modifying the config file, doesn't change on restart, it's kinda annoying. I don't seem to be able to change config hotkey either, not from any game mod or the config file, in fact, config file stats the new key is "I" and it doesn't work, but the default is used by another mod (voxelmap) I need so it won't work either.
Long story short, I can't config DurabilityInfo or the basic config hotkey. Other things I've tried seem to work just fine.
You know what could it be?
Also, a suggestion, you should add an option to enable and disable aggro or neutral mobs from the Safe Overlay, so you can choose if you want to see all the spawning zones, or only the ones for aggro, or neutral mobs. Finding an aggro spawning zone across such a huge neutral grid is kinda slow xD
True, snapshots are just "alpha" and "beta" versions of the updates. And as it usually happens, alpha/beta versions have bugs, problems and may corrupt things to hell.
Nice, so now we're closer to be able to use macros in 1.6.4, cool 'cause all the servers I am decided to update and not having macros is a pain in the back D:
Advice: Use forum search or at least your eyes before you post.
Reason: So you don't post nonsenses like "OMG no more survival? that's so bad" when we all already know that what he meant was that it won't be the same thing it was. And anyway, adventure is way better than survival, which actually has no reason to exist because the only uses it has is to try stuff and unlock achievements but it has no real reason to be played since there are no goals on it except for surviving which is way too easy.
