Even when I was able to download exactly from the same browser and network 1 week ago, sorry but your system is really crappy, you should use something else.
I wanted to see if another version works better 'cause I downloaded x32 a week ago or so and for some reason birch plank texture isn't working and it shows as a light blue "UPDATE TP" image even when the terrain.png image includes all planks in their right places.
EDIT: ok, so the problem is sphax_ctm.png, it doesn't include any birch plank image, but it's obviously linked, 'cause I changed the Upgrade TP color in that file and it changed in-game also. I had to run some tests to see which one was supposed to have birch plank and add it manually.
Don't know if you corrected it, 'cause as I said I can't download with that problem.
All videogames are a waste of time except for the educational (that kind of games are only 60% waste of time). It's exactly the same with every single videogame out there, not only minecraft. They were made to have FUN, not to live playing them.
Games aren't any more productive than say, chess or football. Its just a fun hobby. Not everything has to have a reason to simply be fun.
What you say has no logic at all. Chess is a very complex game that helps people develope their inteligence and attention, footbal, like every sport, help people being more healthy. Videogames don't do any of those things, in fact, people becomes some kind of stupid zombies who spend hours sit doing nothing except ruining their eyesight and causing several health problems, specially heart problems caused for the lack of some physical activity.
Not bad, tested it in one of my single player maps and it really works. What I don't like about it is that the blocks are so dark. I've seen some other modes that, while they don't have so many options (like selecting the blocks you want to hide or not), they show bright and very visible ores, which makes a lot easier to see what kind of ore they are even if you're far from them. Anyway it's an interesting way to play xD though I don't really use this 'cause it makes the game too easy, so I'm just giving some feedback
Too bad I can't use multi-core loading with my amd dualcore since every time I try I simply get an error for javaw.exe and game is forced to close if I click either accept or cancel.
I was playing on a server, now updated to 1.3.1, so I can't connect with older versions, but when I connect with 1.3.1, it gives me this error after a few seconds online. Awesome.
It seems to work in one server but it doesn't in others, so I'll have to check with them what system are they using because there's obviously something in server files causing problems with connections to some people.
In my case the spawners share the same Y coordinate, and they are 14 blocks apart, in a diagonal. My design is not simple (at all -.-) but it is controlled by a lever and a button to leave them in less than 1 heart. All you do is stand in one place and wait for them to come to you lol
What I did was to mix a several methods. I made my own modification of EthosLab's towers, sending blazes to an specific block, where I added WoolyCreeper's blaze conveyor to move them to a lava pilar that rises them up and then added my own system to move them to their place, where I added EthosLab's piston crusher method. So I can stand in the middle of both spawners while mobs come to life and the system brings them right in front of me automatically, and then I just use my controls to leave them almost dead for a last hit.
The controls it has are a lever controling 4 blocks behind them to push the blazes right where the crusher pistons are, and a button to activate the crushers. It also has 3 different levers to stop automatic system that control both conveyor and the piston that brings them out the lava pilar.
I spend 4 to 6 hours planning and solving problems, moving stuff to not interfere each other and simplify all I could. Now I know how to do it it takes less than 2 hours to make them.
Image 1 shows the main side, with both towers, in the middle of the image you can see the place where player stands, and next to it (mid-center of the image), the timer for the crushers.
Image 2 shows the the same from the opposite side. You can see the 4 pistons that force blazes into the crushers and the main conveyor.
Image 3 is where the player controls everying. Lever for the pistons in the back, button for the crushers.
Image 4 is one of the towers inside, it consists in 23 sticky pistons with 23 repeaters/pressure plates.
Image 5 shows both conveyours, the first (the big one) for the tower far away, it is big and moves them all around to the lava pilar. The second one only pushes the blazes to a piston facing up to make them go into the lava pilar.
But 14% is for level 50 and 16.1% is for level 13, and exp given is different too so there is no way to compare the old method with the new one.
Anyway yeah it was luck, I tried and got 1 from 10 with silk touch, but got a lot of them with 3 enchants, including several Eff VI, unb III fortune II wich is really good xD

Advice: Use forum search or at least your eyes before you post.
Reason: So you don't post nonsenses like "OMG no more survival? that's so bad" when we all already know that what he meant was that it won't be the same thing it was. And anyway, adventure is way better than survival, which actually has no reason to exist because the only uses it has is to try stuff and unlock achievements but it has no real reason to be played since there are no goals on it except for surviving which is way too easy.

Well this is my version for 2 blaze spawners: http://imgur.com/a/diRt5
Image 1 shows the main side, with both towers, in the middle of the image you can see the place where player stands, and next to it (mid-center of the image), the timer for the crushers.

Materials include (approximately):
Sticky pistons: 60
Normal pistons: 5
Redstone repeaters: 79
Pressure plates: 46
Rails 21
Redstone torches: 5
Signs: 4
Levers: 5
With probably 15 to 20 stacks of blocks (to build everything) and 5 to 10 stacks of redstone dust.
