More like has been the advertising flagship for Yogscast. Did they really have a whole lot of subscribers before throwing out Minecraft vids? If anything the game helped them, rather than them helping the game.

Sorry, but Yogscast are nothing special. If you ever needed proof of that, now you have it.

Uhh, it goes both ways. Yogscast wouldn't be making thousands of dollars if it weren't for minecraft but minecraft wouldn't be making millions of dollars if it weren't for yogscast.

Uhh, c'mon guys are we 5? Everybody is making a big deal out of this because these two guys supposedly dropped the F bomb on a kid? You realize that kid probably hears that word every single day in school right? They say it to one person and everybody flips their ****? As much as Notch and the rest of the minecraft community denies it, Yogscast plays a bigger role in the fanbase then they think. Let's look at the numbers. A video posted on their channel yesterday already has almost 1 mil views. That's a million people who have decided to either buy this game or at least dedicate 30 minutes to watching these guys play it. The game costs about 20-30 bucks depending on whether or not they feel like putting up a discount so that's about 20 or 30 million dollars given to Notch. It's free advertising and they are celebrities for it. Yogscast asking to be paid isn't surprising or even rude. They make their living off of minecraft videos and minecraft has made more then 30 million dollars because of yogscast. Notch and the minecraft community is really making a big deal out of paying these two celebrities to travel half way across the world to a crappy convention? When, I might add, they could be at home promoting this game further, making it more money, and making more money themselves. I can almost guarantee these two men regret even stepping foot into that convention. And to the people who are saying "I didn't hear about minecraft from these two idiots, I heard it from a friend." My friends, it's called word of mouth. People see their videos, like the games, tell their friends. If every person who saw their videos [over a million subs] told a friend about the game they watched the amount of income would be doubled. So Notch can thank yogscast for millions upon millions of dollars going into his pocket. To treat somebody who's made you so much money with so much disrespect is appalling.
