posted a message on What theme should i use on my server ?
How about a Viking theme? It's simple and easy to build, but also looks pretty cool; especially if you build a town near a body of water with some Viking boats.

Not bad, it seems like it would only look good on a white block. Honestly I liked the music better than the mod

I don't see how that's redundant. It makes sense, it would make a better mod than vanilla though.

posted a message on new enchantments
Good ideas, I like the new enchantments you have there. I'm not a big fan of the advanced enchanter though. It's easy enough already to get a couple good enchantments on a tool or weapon. Most people that want that are PvPers that want the closest thing to a god sword that they can get.

The stained glass could work, probably not the ambient lighting though. I'd also like to see one way glass as well. I hate people that just watch you through your windows.

    Quote from Artifact123

Just a simple idea I came up with. More stuff to burn in the furnace.

    Gunpowder- Smelts 4 Items
    Blaze Powder- Smelts 6 Items
    Paper- Smelts 1/4 Item
    Bow- Smelts 1 Item

Why do you ask? Well, why not?

Why not? Because there's not much of a point. By the time you get blaze powder you more than likely have plenty have plenty of coal or at least know where to get more. Besides, wood, wooden tools, saplings, charcoal, coal, and lava buckets are more than choices.

posted a message on MC 1.7.3 world generator VS. Current version, The old beauty.
    Quote from BodOwens

There are TONS of threads regarding the old terrain generator. Anyways for me I don't care what terrain generator is better, as long as there's wood to chop, animals and hostiles to slay and something to mine, it's still Minecraft.

This. The old terrain was more random and had some awesome features. But people have to let it go. It's never coming back, posting threads everyday isn't going to change anything.

Old Minecraft you could spawn and be right next to a desert, forest, mountain, and huge cave and never have to leave that spot. The new terrain makes you explore to find what you need. Like in my new world I have a minecart station with tracks leading to a big cave, a forest, and another cave in a mountain biome for emeralds. Biomes make you work harder for what you want, but personally it makes me feel more accomplished than just having everything right there.

posted a message on [Trying to] Find the End Portal
I've had my fair share of trouble finding the portals. I never considered the vertical concept, though I've never heard of them being too deep to detect. I'd go down in the cave dig down from there in the 20 block radius where the eye of ender sunk.

posted a message on Ultimate Guide To PVP (Don't PVP untill you read this!)
I used to be a big PvPer but after several anarchy with donation handouts and Admins giving god swords out to their friends I just decided enough was enough. It's better to be able to protect your things so as to not lose hours worth of play time because of an xrayer or god sword wielder.

posted a message on Your best reason for playing minecraft! (REASONS NEEDED)
I play a lot of competitive games on 360 (Gears, Halo, Dark Souls) so Minecraft is a great way to relax and take a break. Plus Minecraft is very fun to play with friends, especially when you're able to talk back and forth. All the mishaps, unexpected creepers, and don't even get me started on exploring the Nether with a friend or two; seriously one day all we did was laugh the entire time.

I wouldn't say Minecraft is better, but it has so many features and mods it's hard to really ever get bored of it. Though there are some people that will never understand the appeal of it. Who cares, if it's fun for you that's all that matters.

posted a message on Map with several faction's under one king.
This sounds like a very cool idea. I might suggest keeping Pvp off and factions separated until the holds are full and you know everyone has their rightful gear, as some may hoard the supplies for themselves. Plus you wouldn't want everybody except joining one hold and a few joining other holds leaving the powerful one to annihilate the weaker ones quickly.

Very good idea though, definitely something I would participate in.
