Oct 23, 2014There's only one tiny part of this mod that can be called cannibalism, and since I'm pretty sure eating pieces of yourself is called something different, even that one part doesn't apply in single-player games...But all I'm saying is the name may need some re-considering, the mod itself is pretty cool!Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Oct 18, 2014I love this mod! If I may make a quick suggestion? It'd be neat if there was somewhere we could look to see who all is currently in the mod! I know that'd be a bit of work to keep up-to-date, so I understand if you don't actually do it, but it'd still be pretty neat. Also! I'd like to submit my name for being added! In-game name is DaZebraffePosted in: Mods Discussion
Dec 2, 2013DaZebraffe posted a message on Soul Forest 1.9.75 (Ores, Vines, Dimension, Mobs And more!)Um...Just a heads-up: While, being made-up fruits, baneberry and razzberry can pretty much come from anywhere, the rest of the fruits your mod introduced don't grow on the type of plant you have them growing on. Raspberries and blackberries both grow on thorny bushes, strawberries and blueberries grow on small, low-to-the-ground bushes, and cranberries grow on plants over the top of water in swampy areas. The only (real) fruit you added that actually grows on a vine (grapes), you have growing on trees...Not criticizing, mind, just letting you know!Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Beyond that, though, pretty cool mod!
Nov 29, 2013Leather is literally just animal skin that's been tanned-ANY animal's skin! So the pig should also drop leather when skinned. That, or you could have it drop a new "pig skin" item that can be cooked into pork rinds and/or crafted into gelatin (which would, naturally, have crafting purposes of its own). I also agree it'd be pretty cool, and realistic, for them to drop bones when harvested. Oh! And you could make it so that if a skinned pig is left hanging over fire/lava for smoking-based preservation long enough, it becomes a smoked pig that, when harvested, produces bacon!Posted in: WIP Mods
Nov 29, 2013DaZebraffe posted a message on [ V1.7.0.001 ] [ UPDATED For MC 1.8.1 ] Mo' Chickens ~The Reign of Chickens is Upon you!~Glowing chicken-Bright yellow chicken (possibly also produces light?), gives hunger debuff and night vision buff on attack. Lays glowstone dust.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Mossed chicken-Green chicken (or maybe green on gray?), gives mining fatigue debuff on attack. Lays mossy cobblestone, or a new item that can be crafted into mossy cobblestone.
Nether chicken-Chicken mottled with a mix of red colors, sets the player on fire. Lays netherrack, or an item that can be crafted into it.
Cool mod, by the way!
Nov 29, 2013I have a couple ideas that I think would be pretty cool...As an alternate means of making brewing stands craftable in the nether, make it so netherrack blocks can be used in place of cobblestone in the crafting recipe. Why? So that a "cobblestone generator" made with poison generates netherrack instead of cobblestone, making netherrack a renewable resource!Posted in: Minecraft Mods
My other idea was that you could introduce an Ichorite block (unless that already exists?) which, when tossed into/placed within (something of that nature) a pool of poison, purifies it into a pool of water! Of course, since water placed by the player evaporates in the Nether, this would mean you can't move the pool once it's purified...
Just a couple of thoughts! Really cool mod so far, by the way!
