For those who haven't seen the new layout for enchanting tables.



You obviously see the changes, the numbers 1 2 3 with the experience orb getting bigger. If you hover over the tiles you will get like a preview of the enchantment you get. As you can see, I hovered over the most expensive tile and it showed Unbreaking III with a question mark indicating that there is more. I like this a lot, it gives you a glimpse of what you'll get but still keeping that hidden surprise with the question mark.

Idk if this was added previously but I saw this lock symbol next to the difficulty setting. As well as a message when clicked.

I tried searching up some things that had to do with getting symptoms from playing minecraft, didn't really find much info but did aquire some ideas;

-Use texture packs (Try out different texture packs to see changes).

-Turn off BOBBING in settings.

-Play at a slow pace, don't rush things just go step by step 1 by 1.

-Try full screen or minimizing your screen to see any changes.

-Play on low sensitivity

There are probably more but that's all I can gather at the moment. Most of this stuff is preferred to try in single-player. Multiplayer is more fast pace especially if there is PVP, so try some of these tips in single-player and if you feel fine you can move on. If none of this help then I'm sorry I couldn't help.

Creativity<3

I believe minecraft is definitely something worth buying. I bought 2 copies of the game several years ago and I never regret buying them. Minecraft is filled with adventures that keeps you coming back to play more. I think if you have a creative mind or personality, minecraft is the game for you like it was for me. The game is only expanding and achieving new and fun things.

Pros of MC:
- It's a sandbox game (Definition for a sandbox game "HERE");
- Fun single-player experience where you literally create how your world and adventure will be;
- Amazing multiplayer experience where you can choose from a vast amount of servers that fit to your liking;
- Endless creations and ideas for the creative mind;
- Educational aspect (Minecraft can actually be education for children, check this article "HERE"
- Mods can be used in minecraft to make your gameplay experience even better!
- Too many to list :3

Cons of MC:
- Addictive, though MC is very fun, it can be very addictive to the point where you wont see the sun for days! (Just kidding but it is addicting):
- Server O' Plenty! There are so many minecraft servers, so many different choices to choose from that you might have trouble finding the right one to play!;
- Just like any other multiplayer game, there are trolls and griefers who only want to annoy players
- Creepers
- There are most likely more cons but I honestly can't think of any real problems with the game.

I hope I helped you decide whether you get the game or not. I really wanted to persuade you the best way I can by giving you facts so consider buying minecraft; its worth it.

To you these snapshots are considered small and meaningless, to others like myself, its amazing. So many things were added, I don't know its like quality over quantity. Though there might be bugs and small useless features (sunflowers, only one I can think of) the rest of it is great.

Found a Desert Temple generated underground. Sometimes this does happen as a glitch but wait...


...There was no front entrance to the temple when entering through the roof. Could this mean that Desert Temples naturally spawn under sand instead of above? That would be cool

Dug this gigantic hole, and just managed to reach bedrock. Not done, because I have to pull all of the little stone out of the holes so that only bedrock remains, but that should yield less than 100,000 more.




There are 512 double chests here.

64x54 = 3456 cobblestone per double chest.

3456x512 = 1,769,472 cobblestone



Anyways, now that I've managed to sort it all into these chests, I think I'll take a little break now.

Hello everyone. Well. This is quite daunting. My name is Matt aka BatsJuan and I'm 29 from Melbourne Australia. I suffer from Asperger's so please bear with me while I just work through this.

This week, I'm holding a 24 Hour Charity Stream. I'm holding this event for a few reasons. One is the fact that I am trying to help work on my own social skills. The internet is the only place I can seem to talk to people without just going quiet and weird. I also suffer from a lot of Anxiety due to such and in the past have suffered heavily through depression for many years back in the early 00's where failing out of finishing school 4 times really hit me hard. I gained support through local services who put me in touch with more substantial services such as those run and supported by an organisation called beyondblue. beyondblue is the charity this event is for. It's my way of giving back to them the best way I know how for helping me through such tough times.

So on with the details.

Anyone able to help?:
I'm on the lookout for anyone who has their own created PvP/Deathmatch/Spleef/CTF area/maps. I will be wanting to have a leaderboard system running that I can offer prizes to the winners as encouragement to jump on the servers that will be running. If you have such, feel free to get in contact with me here on Minecraft Forums. I'm looking for areas that don't have their own custom setups. I'm running mods that will allow for me to run custom setups which all go through one leaderboard system (BattleArena and attached addons).

Feel free to also ask any questions regarding the stream in this thread.

I lol'ed hard at the title, then I realised it was a serious post.

It would help if you had a server status in your sig... That way whenever you posted ppl might notice your sig, and thus join the server... Just a little suggestion.

Make it unique to get people who join to actually stay.

Youtube, Planetminecraft, friends, word of mouth, unique features.

Do not promise admin/mod to everyone who joins either.

Do not spam other servers, that doesn't work and makes you look bad.
People that leave to join yours will probably end up leaving it soon enough.
Also this will eventually lead to someone with a booter that gets ed off from you spamming.
