So no fix as of yet for the error produced when the leaves don't decay and are set to true 100% of the time even though the tree is there leaves are suppose to be set to decay as false when they are still connected to logs and set to true if the logs aren't there.
I'm going to guess this mod is dead...Seeing as how the 1.8 version never fixed the bugs with the wierd looking world when looking at a mob. As the mod creator only put out a version for 1.8, I can only assume he did it to appease those of us who wanted this for 1.8. My assumption usually being correct my only course of action is to say this:
If you are just updating this mod to 1.8 to appease those of us who wanted this mod for 1.8 then you gave yourself a major disservice to your fanbase. I may be ungrateful but that is no excuse for you NOT to fix the problems with your mod. As a person who is willing to use your mods, you should, also, be willing to fix the bugs we give to you in a fair and decent amount of time without the disappearing act or the silent treatment. Yes your mod works great for 1.7 and below but not for 1.8 and seeing as how some of us actually use 1.8 it would benefit you greatly to fix said issues. Now since the bugs were not fixed this mod is to be considered dead and I will discontinue its use until such a time that the bugs are fixed. If you even think of skipping 1.8 then I will no longer consider this mod for anyother version of minecraft just like I don't consider any other mod creator who skips versions and who just puts out a version just to appease us back-porting it or porting it for that matter.
I would love to see this for 1.8 someday. It could solve some of the recipe conflicts I am having right now that are bothersome to say the least. None of the mods that are used to create custom recipes work for me or are too complicated to use as yours doesn't seem to be that way at all. Very simple and easy to use.
Leaves on the trees are set to decay as true...yet some leaves do not decay at all as seen in this pic ---> http://i61.tinypic.com/35d1cmq.png I use both Veinminer and Treecapitator for Minecraft 1.8. I like the mod though.
How does the Whitelist Filter work on a better chest when upgrading it? I can't seem to get it to harvest Watermelon only instead of both seeds and watermelon? Minecraft 1.8 and recent update for Betterchests for 1.8 (which at the moment is 1.2.0.0)
I know you have an example json file for us to make our own recipes but is there a place we should put the json files for minecraft to load them? I haven't figured that out yet.
No, it doesn't spawn in other biomes, but it does creep in at the edges when the biome is next to a coral reef biome.
Really because it was thriving in a forest biome and some of the trees turned to coral rock. I just find it odd, is there a way to tone that down? I could give you a pic of what I'm talking about?

Good to know

I feel silly asking this but does coral rock spawn above water level in other biomes? I feel it shouldn't and have it only spawn in ocean biomes...

It's a bit of a shame that this may not work with Codechickencore/NEI as I use both of them.
